What's interesting is that PlayTracker's Persona 4 Golden page puts the "estimated active players" at 472k, which isn't too far off the 500k players Atlus announced.

So maybe the 700k sold is accurate?

well he pretty much already confirmed Shadows of the Damned ;)

And in his last video talking about laboral conditions, some Devolver easter eggs can be found. here's one example, although, I'm reading too much into this, but still, HYPE!

Mate, you are a PC player. You should know better.

I don't know if the mod works :shrugblob:
And I've been save scumming by manually copying the files all this time!

pretty sure the PlayTracker numbers are accurate ... Atlus' tweet said "500k players" ... not owners :p

Shadows of the Damned would be great, have it downloaded on my Xbox X (it's backwards compatible), but the 30 FPS (feel lower sometimes) is not feeling good.

I would want that, Lollipop Chainsaw and El Shaddai.

I have wanted to play El Shaddai so badly for so long time. At least I am able to play Shadows of the Damned even though it's 30 fps, but I can't even buy El Shaddai anymore.

if anything - this only proves pc players are happy to wait for the games to appear on their platform of choice ... no matter how long it takes :p
I waited over 1400 days for things like Digimon, so yeah, I think I can wait longer if needed :p

Yes, maybe it's right so 711k is absolutely impressive.

I wonder what P4G did on Vita. I feel it would be very weird if it didn't do anymore than 1 mill copies, people have literally bought a Vita only for that game.

Yet I would also assume if it did 1 mill, Atlus would have said it, it's a big milestone. But Atlus is weird in general so who knows.

People keep saying that P4G did around 1-1.5 Million/s on Vita although I thought it made 3 in total but the only number available is 1.25 million from VGChartz so yeah, let's say unknown as we don't know about digital copies.

still, reaching 500-700k in just one month is absolutely amazing, a Juggernaut in terms of JRPG :cat-heart-blob:

Services matters it seems. EA games, MS games, Satisfactory etc. exploded in sales on PC. Both Outer Wilds and Journey got more talk around them in social media after the Steam release too, so did the Quantic Dream games.

Man I didn’t need the reminder El Shaddai exists. I paid $60 on it and barely finished it.

It was so boring, bland and easy. The art is great but there wasn’t a whole lot of variety in level design so that also got pretty boring after a while. I literally forgot everything about that game.

Maybe if I played it again today Id like it more but probably not.

One thing that's universally true about Halo CE so far is that its levels are too damn long. There's are so many repetitive scenarios in it. If they'd even cut them down by a third, it would go down a lot easier. The amount of times you see the exact same room types with similar enemy configurations is staggering. And having to repeat them because some enemy one-shots you with a grenade launcher or something within a split second of you rounding a corner is just the worst :poutblob:

It's so great to see Japanese devs being so successful on Steam. It was not that long ago "PC" was not taken seriously by Japanese pubs/devs.
No joke, and not only japanese devs (which started to realize that PC was a potential market back in 2014-2015) but also western companies, I mean, when I made the joke "this is just the first half of 2020" with this pic was because if you showed this picture to someone in 2017, that person would call this a fake and it's real, it has happened and things are evolving at a great pace.

Seriously, PC gaming has changed so much that it's fucking unbelievable and sometimes still feels unreal.

Now imagine Bloodborne added to that list. 👀

I was looking for an old post I made in June that illustrates really well what I meant, it's from an old GAF thread back in 2015, big SteamDB leak (Valve's fault, not page) and a lot of people asking for certain games, can you believe that 5 years after ALL WHAT PEOPLE WAS ASKING FOR HAS HAPPENED? EVEN PERSONA 4

This is the post

I love to comeback in time thanks to the internet cause' you can realize how much things have changed, seriously, amazing.

After reading The Final Hours of Half-Life: Alyx I keep wondering what would've happened if Valve decided to stick to Rob Yescombe's script? On one hand there were some conceptually interesting tidbits, on the other the edge of it could've sliced person in half. Overall, I'm happy they decided to go in a different direction.

It has the chance to turn into true neutral territory and by that to offer the biggest library of games ever.
I would have never believed that to be a possibility. Not in my wildest dreams.

Yeah just checked it for fun and saw a Carrion code not redeemed (bottom at very end), but I already own it.

Great show so far. Funny as heck.
