I guess that's why the first game is in the Choice right now. Huh.

And the case closed !
How does it look to you ? I would say it's very good, no ?
And btw, at what temp should I begin to worry ?
The concern trolling for Xbox has been off the charts. I guess people don't like the competition they love to bang their drums about.
Nothing regarding Xbox App/Windows Store updates, basically just about how they choose what game will appear on PC game pass and questions like that.

Fable is not an MMO and Halo Infinite's multiplayer is not being delayed
Rumors have spread over the last day that Fable from Playground Games is an MMO and that Halo Infinite would ship without multiplayer. Both rumors are untrue.www.windowscentral.com
Control is coming to Steam late next month with what I assume will be 50% off (it's that currently on EGS). So if you are able to wait, it's not that long. So, last oct I rented Control for the PS4 from my library. I completed the game and some of the sidequests. Now, I absolutely loved this game to pieces. All the way through.
Control for PS4 is one sale. This is my dilemma; spend the $36 for both the base game and DLC or just buy the DLC and wait until I get can rent the base game again at my library?
The $20 question is how good the DLC for Control is. If the first DLC packs are excellent, I'm in for the full $36. If the current DLC is only ok with the promise of the A.W.E coming at some point this year, I might be in for the DLC only.
Any halp? HALP HALP HALP
Also Xbox is a great platform overall, I'm 100% sold. M$ knocked it out of the park by dragging it away from being tied down to a plastic game adapter. It doesn't make an xbox series X a good buy on release but it makes access to the Xbox ecosystem pretty esstential IMO.
Not willing to play through the main story again, as my save is on my PS4. Also, may be without my PC some days starting in sept.Control is coming to Steam late next month with what I assume will be 50% off (it's that currently on EGS). So if you are able to wait, it's not that long.
Then you should go for it. I wasn't particularly fond of the the first expansion, it's more of the same, the second expansion is seemingly about Alan Wake, so hopefully it's meatier. Not willing to play through the main story again, as my save is on my PS4. More of the same.... Which IS good... Thnx. Then you should go for it. I wasn't particularly fond of the the first expansion, it's more of the same, the second expansion is seemingly about Alan Wake, so hopefully it's meatier.
Personally I'd say DLC #1 is really more of the same ultimately. It's got some really interesting plot elements it teases for the future and a couple of neat new powers but at the end of the day really just more of the same for a few more hours. I'd go with the rental option imoThe $20 question is how good the DLC for Control is. If the first DLC packs are excellent, I'm in for the full $36. The following tweet statement is exactly what I think about the game's potential on its kickstarter. Why are you getting excited over Kickstarter projects from Japan? Many Japanese Kickstarter projects have been disappointing.
I am still waiting for a full game from Project Phoenix
Thanks very much for the info and exposure given in your sentences. The moment I read Paper Mario it went to my wishlist. This is the kind of exposure/awareness that certainly makes a change for the better.Couple quick shots.
It's Paper Mario for PC. The color saturation will blow your eyeballs out in the best kind of way. Reminds me of a Newgrounds production, but it doesn't skimp on any of the depth along the way. It has everything you'd expect in the Paper-rpg subgenre. TBC with unique controller inputs to pull off reg./supercharged moves. Badges to collect & equip offering unique buffs in and out of combat. Tons of lore to collect. NPC fetch quests. Unique environmental traversal puzzles that combine unique party member skills like those old Lost Viking games.
Set in an insect kingdom it's a pretty novel & fun environment to roll around in. You're tasked with finding an ancient artifact for your Queen Ant that's supposed to offer eternal youth & strength. It's a MacGuffin hunt that's interesting enough, but the real star is the variety of locals and colorful cast of NPCs you meet along the way. The dialogue is well written & funny, kinda like the Paper Mario games where the "main quest" is whatever, but just tooling around is the meat of the game. Party banter in-group & with NPCs is hilarious.
Presentation is colorful, chuncky & clean. It's reads incredibly clean visually. Music is nice, varying from stop to stop and the combat theme is great. Looks like the campaign is pretty beefy as well with the forums saying it's 30-40 hrs. worth of content depending on your play style.
All and all it's been a super-pleasant balm for our current 2020 hellscape. Great bit of escapism that combines incredible charm with impressive depth to back it up. Feels like the dev is successfully punching above their weight. Good times.
I got into the closed beta, but didnt have any one to play with. I see it's now open for everyone this weekend, so maybe I'll give it a try.Anyone played or knows anything about this?
That's most likely just a target render and not actual gameplayThe following tweet statement is exactly what I think about the game's potential on its kickstarter.
yep had it in the cart so many times but always removed it in the end because of thatBug Fables looks great but Dangen can go fuck themselves.
I'll take a target render over CG and a working title logo any day. That's most likely just a target render and not actual gameplay
Besides the original not being purchaseable on steam the def edition has actual extra content.Does anyone know the difference between regular Ori and The Blind Forest and the definitive edition?
IIRC there's a bunch of powers and upgrades that don't exist in the originalDoes anyone know the difference between regular Ori and The Blind Forest and the definitive edition?
If only Sega did the same.Wow, the Nintendo leak is huge, I'm surprised they still kept source code for NES era games.
Yeah it's already hot here too. Been up for three hours and can already take another shower.Oh, the innefable pleasure of drinking your morning coffee at 7am and sweating bullets because it's already hot as hell.

20% discount is disabled until you resub again, not sure if you can pause immediately after the first pauseIf I unpause my humble sub to take advantage of a 20% discount, will I be able to re-pause immediately or will they automatically bill me this month Choice?
Bah, it's for SAO RE Hollow Fragment, to lower it from 4.99 to 3 something, not the end of the world for a game I probably won't ever play. I mean, some part of me want a pseudo MMO, but I have so many other games to play than a PSP remaster.20% discount is disabled until you resub again, not sure if you can pause immediately after the first pause
You can ask someone for a discount link, which btw I am looking for. Anyone wanna share the discount link with me?
Yeah, it crossed my mind yesterday that the case change wasn't that urgent anymore. I have some leeway on what to upgrade. Another SSD would certainly do good, a shiny new CPU too...Li Kao sorry for the double post, but thinking back about your new temperatures:
With those you could easily forgo the case upgrade and get a new CPU instead. A 3700x should run about as hot as the 2600x.
Would pair nicely with a 2060s btw, but also a 3600x will do fine.
Not saying that you have to upgrade your CPU! Just that you now have more options.
I've been using it since 2014 and have almost $100USD from it. It seems like you can get more by doing stuff like taking pictures of your receipts but I don't know about that.... I didn't know you could use it for Steam stuff. I mainly use my funds to buy stuff off the Google play store. I read webtoons so I use my points for that and I'm normally able to get something like $4USD over the course maybe 3 months or so.I've used that google rewards thing for little over a year now and they've paid out 31€ to me and I've put everything into steam. Not bad! I mostly just see that as funding me crafting badges, so with that and selling high and buying low when it comes to cards. I pretty much get my badges for freeee!
Who were the guest?Pre-show has been really great, except for the guests but content has been
There are two versions of the B450 Tomahawk; the MAX and the normal, non max.Yeah, it crossed my mind yesterday that the case change wasn't that urgent anymore. I have some leeway on what to upgrade. Another SSD would certainly do good, a shiny new CPU too...
But weren't people saying that even with updated bios, Ryzen 3000 support on B450 Tomahawk was spotty ?
Late to the discussion here...I've been gaming for over 30 years, owned a lot of consoles, but not even once did I buy a console at launch.
You wait 1-2 years and you buy it cheaper and with a decent library of games available for it, not to mention firmware updates ironing out issues that always crop up early on.
Really good launch line-ups are very rare and there's always current gen stuff to catch up with.
good it got leakedWow, the Nintendo leak is huge, I'm surprised they still kept source code for NES era games.
What happened?Wow, the Nintendo leak is huge, I'm surprised they still kept source code for NES era games.
But then anyone can steal the code and use it for their own games. Dunno if it's good. I wouldn't want source code for my stuff to be openly availablegood it got leaked
in my opinion every source code for every game ever made should be public ... but that's just me
it is ... sharing is caringBut then anyone can steal the code and use it for their own games. Dunno if it's good.
