Winter is the PC gamer season of choice, for obvious reasons.
Haven't had bug problems in my home for the past decade or so shrugsI hate summer:
- gross bugs that crawl, fly and sting;
- heat and humidity;
- very gross bugs that crawl, fly and sting;
- sweat,
- extremely gross bugs that crawl, fly and sting
I prefer the more mild temperatures of spring where I live. Winter is too cold.Winter is the PC gamer season of choice, for obvious reasons.
You guys need to get that vitamin D!
I stay inside during spring because it is too pollen-yI stay inside during summer because it is too hot
You damn southerners!It's 13ºC here, we are in the middle of the winter and we had less than 10 days of cold total, cold is so good.
I don't have winter here, it's summer all year long.Winter is the PC gamer season of choice, for obvious reasons.
And lose my pale, LCD glow-irradiated PC gamer skin complexion? Nevah.You guys need to get that vitamin D!
Weather [OT] It's too damn [insert current situation]We need a separate topic where we can talk about the weather all day
Being in the sun makes you skin age faster, so why would i want that?You guys need to get that vitamin D!
Praise the sun.
Instructions unclear, covered in kittens and puppies, still very hot.Just to put things into perspective, currently 24°C inside my shoebox flat while it's 31°C outside. AC units are gifts of god, second only to kittens and pups.
Sit down and listen to this old weathered face, child.Since we're on the topic of weather, some interesting things are possible in my neck of the woods (tropical storm level wind and rain impacts next week)
I love learning about different weather phenomena across the planet and the unique types of weather systems that affect certain parts of the world. One that's been particular interest to me are European Windstorms.
So, how often do you European members get these storms and what are they like?
That's unironically my favorite kind of weather, just sitting at home with a slightly opened window so you can smell the rain and a coffee or tea in your handsSit down and listen to this old weathered face, child.
It starts with this beautiful formation. Sometimes, the contrast between the colorful fields and the dark wall of clouds is spectacular.

We call it "norddeutsches Grillwetter" (North-German BBQ weather)
North Germans are weirdoSSSSSSit down and listen to this old weathered face, child.

Especially when you are still in the full blast of the sun.

Yes, but at least you'll be warm and happy inside when you pass out.Instructions unclear, covered in kittens and puppies, still very hot.
Holy crap. I absolutely love and am in awe at that timelapse, the clouds rolling in like a swell. It feels like being underwater. Thanks for the tale, grandpa .Sit down and listen to this old weathered face, child.

Will Sony follow?Apparently Xbox consoles will have free online soon.
This is big and will be a good thing for PC players as more people on Xbox consoles will be able to play with us as long as the game supports crossplay.
Sony Era on suicide watch.Apparently Xbox consoles will have free online soon.

And I'm with Hektor, that smell of rain and the feeling of cold air rushing in after a week-long heat-induced agony is some of the best weather there is. Also love the sound of thunder in the distance with these surreal day-night lighting. It transforms the world completely.
How ironically, since MS is the one who introduced it in the first place.Apparently Xbox consoles will have free online soon.
Nice. Hoping for good regional pricing in that FlightSim was a one-off.
That article contains so much nonsense, including the classic "Valve didn't release any games lately"... Incredible!I have no idea why they would be uncomfortable and I read the whole article.
'Concern's about MS Sustainability'Sony Era on suicide watch.
Between this and Gamepass I expect to see a lot more "concerns" about MS Sustainability (tm.)
Uhh Microsoft is worth 16 times more than Sony. If they feel like it they can buy Sony and name their gaming division Xbox Playstation.Sony Era on suicide watch.

Ok.
that's _the_joke.jpgUhh Microsoft is worth 16 times more than Sony.
Probably because the wave of articles wrongfully painting Valve as the monopoly-holder of a walled garden have had this effect on their peers.Apple's App Store antitrust questions will be uncomfortable for Valve
Lawmakers came for the App Store, but they could've been discussing Steam.www.engadget.com
I have no idea why they would be uncomfortable and I read the whole article.
I'm not sure engadget read their own article. A lot of tech writers with no idea of the PC games market just repeat ad nauseam Epic's claims with no real knowledge of the market.Apple's App Store antitrust questions will be uncomfortable for Valve
