Daily, lowest price yet:

Fans of the classic Fallout games should give this one a look.

And, in a time were many indie developers have been acting like $@&%heads, I once again take my hat off to these developers, they have been doing an awesome job supporting the game, post-launch. From adding new content, acting on pretty much every request/feedback they receive, they have been really awesome. One of the rare Kickstarter campaigns where I'm totally happy with what I got, and with how I was treated, as a backer.

If anyone still doesn't own Sleeping Dogs, the game is 90% off on Steam.
The game is a lot of fun, even for a guy who got bored to tears with GTA IV, didn't buy GTA V, and isn't be biggest fan of the genre:

Humble has a sale on the Yakuza games.
Yakuza 0 is at the lowest price it has been so far, I believe:

Judgement is definitely coming to Steam at some point, just play the waiting game.

got all the BG games, torment and neverwinter now, guess I'll start working on those BG playthough once I'm done with replaying VC1 and VC4
That's a great price! I only have BG1 EE, and have been wanting to do a replay since BG3 was announced. I'm gonna grab Siege, BG2, and Torment for good measure..

I'm glad im not the only one who holds this opinion. I have a love-hate relationship with P5. It feels like it retreads a lot of story beats that P3 or P4 already covered (and does a much worse job at doing so) and its 50 hours too long.

Like P4 and P3 were both 40 hour games and were the perfect length, It was at a length where I instantly missed the characters after finishing the game and wanted a sequel or the ability to wipe my mind and play it again. After I finished P5 I was glad to be done with it.

Still gonna buy P5S and P5R day 1 though lmao
In what world are P3&4 40 hours? Because it sure as hell isn't in this one, even if you focus on the main story.

My first play through of P3FES took me 42 hours and P4G took me 36 (according to the save screen). The dungeons are incredibly easy to shotgun. I didn't skip dialogue and I had multiple social links maxed out. I played both on Normal. Persona 5 took me 102 hours.

I even went and checked and there are a ton of people saying they finished P4G in 35-40 hours.

About underlords, I see streamers have portraits when selecting the heroes, I have the 3d models. How do I change that?

edit: ok it's the mobile interface

That Beamdog pick and mix bundle was just what I was waiting for to grab the Baldur's Gate games! Now I just need to put off playing them until there's not enough time left to do so before Baldur's Gate 3. :upside-down-face:

Also, I was worried that being forced to play instanced dungeons with other players for the main story would be what turns me off of FFXIV but I did the first three last night and they're actually pretty fun! I'm way overleyed, though. Don't know if it was a mistake to pick a server with an active exp bonus but at this point I'm like 10 levels above the main story quests requirements and the gap is only getting bigger. I'm definitely going to hit the trial level cap long before the quests do lol.

That's half of what it took me and HLTB is showing just for the main story. I interact a lot with other Persona fans and it's the first time I see someone claim that these are 40 hour games, but hey, more power to you.

Everyone I know who played it said it took them around 40-60 hours. I think this is the first time ive seen anyone say it took them 80. I guess after you suffer through Nocturne’s stupidly hard difficulty it makes Persona much easier. I’m also a really fast reader so I guess that helps.

Also I didnt do the Marie route on my first run of P4G so that’d probably tack on a extra 10+ hours.

I'm a hardcore SMT fan, it's not a matter of difficulty. Nevermind, this is completely OT anyway.

「Echo」 , a kind soul on Steam Community pointed out to me that you can use SpecialK's Resolution Limiting feature to override the resolution setting in God Wars. Simply set MinRes=3840x2160 in the dxgi.ini and you'll be set.

If it's an Unity game, make sure to disable the Texture caching (in the Texture Management tab). It breaks things up in pretty much every Unity game.

Bless you both, I'll note this down so I don't forget! ... but uh, how do you install Special-K for regular games anyway? For FFXV and NieR it was quite specific and people made a big deal out of it so there were guides to follow, but I've never installed Special-K outside of those two...

see? Randy still ❤ steam! lmao
If I had a VR headset and this game turned out decent I would probably actually be interested in it. I love Penn and Teller: Fool Us, it's truly a wonderful show if you're interested in magic at all.

I'm also not surprised it's called Penn and Teller VR: F U, U, U and U, Penn and Teller: Fool Us is Penn and Teller: FU and the trophy they give out when they can't figure out how a magician performed a trick isn't exactly subtle:

They're really keeping it on brand with that game.

There are two ways: The first is by using the SKIM64 utility included in the latest release.

Run the utility and follow the prompts, it'll inject SK for any Steam game you have.

The second way is the manual way (which I prefer since I used stuff like dgVoodoo2 for some games as well, and sometimes it won't play nice with SK)

From the zip file, copy SpecialK64.dll into the directory of the game executable and rename it into dxgi.dll for 64-bit DX11 games. Use SpecialK32.dll for 32-bit games. Run the game once and it'll produce dxgi.ini you can edit to hook into ReShade and so on.

Actually, question, are we expecting to get Crash Team Racing on PC at a later date or not?

It'd odd that only PC was missed at launch this time unlike the Crash & Spyro trilogies =/

I'm hoping it does come out on PC.

It's nothing new for Activision to have a late PC port of one of their titles, and in this case just because they didn't give similar treatment to other console platforms, it doesn't surprise me that they still delayed the (possible) PC port.

we are, yes ... but this one might go to bnet instead ... since they seem to be inching towards "micro"transactions ...

Eh we'll see, the game doesn't give much Wumpa coins from normal races, and I can't play an online race due to odd bugs in the online system. The only pre-request is that you must be connected online to earn coins from races from any mode.

which means they keep those values server-side .... what other reason (than upcoming "micro"transactions) would they have to do that? i can't see any

The weird thing about the shop system is also that you can't freely buy things. You can only buy what's in the daily rotation, which also implies that they want to use time pressure to sell these cosmetics for real money, or else that'd be really pointless.
