AKA the Star Citizen Story™!Daikatana is also what happens if you give developers too much money and time to make games, they fuck it up.
Hey, that's not totally fair.AKA the Star Citizen Story™!
oh i rememebr that one , looks pretty cool and i quite enjoyed Gunman Glive gamesAnother indie title previously exclusive to the Nintendo Switch is now coming to Steam this month. This one is really cool as it's a mix between contra and Shadow of the colossus.
1 year later.
one thing that absolutely annoys me is how they try to push you into the subscription on every friggin second screenI hate Origin, it's the second worst client Ive ever used (the worst is Xbox beta app).
What those making your favorite games are playing
Yeah, that bullshit.
"we could've launched at the same time, but now we're gonna launch in 2 weeks because ... reasons"«Regarding those concerned that Apple launched two weeks before Steam, all I can say here is I am an idiot. We could have launched Steam the day the Apple version launched, and I just wasn't thinking. My apologies to all of you! »
Not really. You actually provided some context and information. That about sum it up?
all them cheeky stylized title logosSo I always thought that Deep Silver game is called Chorvs, with a "V", as it has in the logo, but Steam page is "Chorus".
Do what I would do in this situationBought that Squeenix Eidaos Anthology, ended up with this stuff I didnt have for £8.49, still seemed a decent deal.
prepare for that $1500/1800€ price tagSo Ampere architecture reveal next week on thursday.
The only thing I can think of is compatibility issues with the player you are using, high bitrate and hardware is struggling, or just broken file, but I´m no expert. What might be the issue if a 1080p mkv plays suuuuuuuuuuuuper choppy?
If it's this way even with nothing else running, you try raising the process's priority. What might be the issue if a 1080p mkv plays suuuuuuuuuuuuper choppy?
I don't think we will get prices or release date, just architecture.prepare for that $1500/1800€ price tag
probably not ... still - i'm pretty sure 3080Ti is going to be $1500 (and 1800€ as a special "fuck you" for Europe)I don't think we will get prices or release date, just architecture.
Star Citizen's flight model has been controversial since their very first release of the Arena Commander module. CIG needs to understand that they won't be able to please everyone and just pick one idea and stick with it. Some of the very first, and presumably most invested, backers specifically want a proper, realistic simulation of space flight in the game. On the other hand, a simplified and more accessible flight model is what will actually get more people to play the game. I have a friend who backed the game and is pissed off that they will support controllers and third person view because that will change flight and combat mechanics. Now it sounds a bit absurd in this day and age to complain about controller support in a game that has vehicles, especially because joysticks are just not common peripherals these days. On the other hand, the original Kickstarter pitch was definitely for a fully realistic flight simulation model and I'm pretty sure you can't properly make that work with a controller.Fortunately I got echoes that they are starting to wake up to the reality that yes, people play the game right now and it's starting to be a bad look for flight not to be looked at seriously in a space sim.
Edit : addendum in the interest of fairness : flight tuning, as in how the underlying simulation is used. Even despite the 3.5 revamp that simplified it a lot, it's still pretty realistic under the hood. Problem is that flight tuning never seemed to be a priority nor given a lengthy period of time to iterate on along with players. The flight team didn't seem to have a clear destination in mind.
Well Im not getting the 3o80ti, but the 3080. I play at 1080p, so a 3080 will be more than good enough. I bet a 3060 or 3070 will be more than good enough, but Im getting a 3080.probably not ... still - i'm pretty sure 3080Ti is going to be $1500 (and 1800€ as a special "fuck you" for Europe)
I agree regarding expectations, and the one set during the KS was a newtonian, realistic FM indeed. I agree that it has to be accessible, but that one is more down to the IFCS's design, HUDs and the ship's tuning. The problem is that they appear to have no idea what they want to shoot for.Star Citizen's flight model has been controversial since their very first release of the Arena Commander module. As always, one of the biggest problems of the Star Citizen project is setting and managing expectations.
Nah, it's totally worth it.Probably not worth the 36 bucks it cost me
PSA to rest of world: Stop assuming we're idiots.PSA to America. Sara is not pronounced like Sarah. I forgot to rename my character in Mass Effect Andromeda to Sarah so it matches what they're saying. grrrrrrr. Lara != Laura either.
I don't care for more than 90% of the content of the bundle though, and most of them I could have gotten individually on sale for far less than 36 bucks . The historical low for Sleeping Dogs is something like 2 or 3 bucks for instance.Nah, it's totally worth it.
$30 for 50+ games, and 50+ DLCs? It's totally worth the asking price, any day of the week.
I read the article and I don't like the writers part since there was inconsistency there.Beyond 'Animal Crossing:' What those making your favorite games are playing

I suppose i should have put /s. I find the different pronunciations funny/amusing.PSA to rest of world: Stop assuming we're idiots.
Nothing personal, but the one thing that has bothered me about this site, is the occasional "assume this about American's" sentiment I've noticed from posters around here. Please, knock it off.
I spent 30€ on a single manga volume yesterday (physical hardcover and full color and it does look fantastic going by the one single image I could find,$30 for 50+ games, and 50+ DLCs? It's totally worth the asking price, any day of the week.
Isn't that the problem of English language? How it written and how it spoken can be very different.I suppose i should have put /s. I find the different pronunciations funny/amusing.
True but what's cheap and affordable to you isn't to everyone unfortunately . 30 bucks is quite close to a whole week's food budget for me.I spent 30€ on a single manga volume yesterday (physical hardcover and full color and it does look fantastic going by the one single image I could find,
but still)
You can get almost the entire bundle for that! Digital games are so cheap.

Anthem hype! (I'm catching up on the thread)I guess this is another one confirmed haha
