Interesting that Football Manager 2020 allows user reviews while it's still a Pre-purchase (so not classic Early Access) but offers access to the beta, not sure I've seen that before. And the reviews are really good too, hmmmm, never bought a FM partly because the series wasn't available in Germany thanks to EA's manager. Maybe this is the year?

"Warn" or "Report"? Hmmm, Yes we need a Thumbs Down feature for all the Misguided Anti-Anime people to be shown the right path.

Started to play Ni No Kuni 2. The walk speed seems to be slow in overworld. Is there a way to make it faster? Maybe with cheat engine?

I should retry some versus fighting. I think playing Nioh and The Surge back to back a few weeks ago gave me a better appreciation of the concept of footsies. But there are so many and I don't do well with choices. And I'm not sure I'm ready to be rolled over by 90% of the internet. Could still play solo but that's limited.
Do we have a VS [OT] ?

Every message board needs a thumbs up system. I can't tell ya'll how many boards I go to and try thumbing up good posts, and the little like button just isn't there. MetaCouncil has spoiled me!!!

Okay, sorry for derailing. Just felt the need to interject there. >.<
Ive almost reported people on Era because of this so many times its embarrassing.

I feel a fury inside of me every time I read on Reddit that someone will wait until Disco Elysium is on game pass or Humble Monthly (despite the devs have said it won't me in Humble Monthly).

What the fuck are you doing. The game is fucking amazing. Buy it. I haven't had time to play it (Im wanting to finish Outer Worlds on Game Pass first as the little I played of DE seemed quite better in term of writing and world building than OW), but will as soon as possible.

I was going to order 2070 super, But turns out none of those have DVI ports. And I have both monitors via DVI.

Ended up ordering HDMI and DP cable from China. Much cheaper than 2070 super, but I don't think it will improve gaming performance sadly.
(And guess I'll get 2070 super later then)

Whyyyyyyyyyyyy are the subtitles in The Outer Worlds so tiny? Why is there no option to scale them? :(

Playing Witcher 3 again. Even without graphical mods game still looks good. Though it might have not been the best idea to get into the lategame/start of the DLCs after not having played it for 2 or 3 years.

I also forgot that it is always windy in Redania

Alright I finished this now and it's very much recommended. Nice 4 hours long 2D souls-like that is sufficiently challenging and unsettling.
Also you can start a new game playing as one of 4 bosses once you've defeated them. It changes nothing story-wise but they have completely different skillsets and are fun to play. Sometimes a bit broken though (well they are bosses aren't they :p) I did a second playthrough with one of them to see the other 2 endings (there are 4 and you can see 2 per playthrough because of the conditions) and it took me about half an hour because he was OP. Good fun.
I'm spending way too much time in Portia today 🙁
About to try it out myself soon :sweaty-blob:

I really need to get back into the game. I've yet to finish it, but it's so damn daunting at this point.

I quit Creature in the Well 1h30 min in (game pass). Goddammit the gameplay mechanics are so goddamn annoying and frustrating it makes me just rage over the "bosses" in the game. The game has a very nice graphic style and the first hour is fun, but then it just got super annoying.

This was me the last 30 min of my playtime:

I already have both of them and plan on playing them next so I'll keep you posted!

It's interesting how they're all a different genre. Shrouded in Sanity is a souls-like, Usurper is a Metroidvania and Into the Fray a twin stick shooter.
Though from my experience with SiS and 10 minutes of Usurper I'm confident they'll be good as well :)

Call of Duty WW2 was really.... boring.
I was never a fan of Call of Duty to begin with because the gameplaw is so shallow but man...

You gun a few nazis down in some french forests and the Rhein-river and then the game is over??
The only cool set piece was the undercover nazi mission in paris.

The characters were bland military dudes the story was... nothing? And then it just ended.

lame lame lame

Finally finished Trails from Zero, fantastic game. Will dive into Ao shortly but decided to give Yakuza Kiwami a spin first. Feels nice to play something at 60fps on ultra on my old PC lol.
I love the Yakuza franchise, can't wait to have them all on steam.

I'm officially a married man. :giggle:
Congrats mate! Wish you a happy marriage.
I need a Steam handheld :loudly-crying-face:
Y u no good to me, Gabe ?
Yeah, I feel Valve could create a solid nieche HW market by creating a handheld. Thought someone would make one when AMD APUs became a thing for laptops. But they're still to power hungry.

It's not a real solution but there are smartphone clips for Steam Controllers. At least at home it could be the next best thing to a PC handheld.

What are some good games to try with Remote Play Together?
Binding of Isaac Rebirth is surprisingly fun with a friend. One person plays as the main character, the other player plays as a floating baby with random stats. Afterbirth adds 4 player coop, base game only supports 2.

I wasn’t into isaac at all but my 2 friends that REALLY love it got me to try it out with remote play and I’ve been having an absolute blast with it. I ended up buying Afterbirth during the halloween sale so all 3 of us could play together.

The upcoming Repentance DLC next year will add proper 2 player coop where both people play as regular characters.

On Death Stranding and the "artistic games" arguments among reviewers and fans.

Artistic games are fine.
Telling other people to swallow the load while questioning their IQ, is not.

If your gameplay/UI/story is wanting, don't hide behind the label "artistic choice"
