AC:Valhalla doesn't support Achievements on PC. Because fuck PC:

edit:
At least EGS doesn't have to rush Achievement support anymore... lol
Great cooperation.
I'm one of those guys who doesn't really care about achievements, but still, absolutely baffling not to support them in 2020.

I just finished Control.

Man i have no idea what that was all about.

Good looking game though, im sold on RTX its amazing. Combat was ok if not a bit samey. Oh and i was constantly getting lost and unable to find where i was supposed to be going. Overall its a very well presented game which just didnt quite do it for me.

Hmm, strange, having played it, I always knew where the game wanted me to go. It wasn't only a few side quests that were a bit out there, and I did use a walk through for those.
Shame it wasn't for you. I think you really need to dig into the additional notes and things to understand fully what went on, the game keeps the background lore in the background. Since I was personally super crazy about finding all of them, this worked great for me, but I could see how if you really don't want to find or read them, this could make some elements a bit confusing.

Yeah i fully admit that i stopped reading all the reports and stuff after the first few so thats why i didnt have a clue as to what was happening.

Ill also admit that it was my evening game and id usually had a few beers when playing and so that probably amplified my confused sense of direction.

It is a really nice looking game though and i dig its style. Some bits were very good...

The ashtray maze bit was great.

I have been playing it as well and I'm at the point where you can go and do the AWE expansion. Oh and I'm kinda loving it. I neither have that much of an idea what's going on. I could read the notes and whatnot, but the atmosphere and the mystery is enough for me to keep me going.

I can see why some people could see the combat as repetitive, but the destruction of the environment is fun enough that I keep playing it like Max Payne and keep dashing through every window and shooting walls. Just causing chaos everywhere I go.

Also I have had no problem with navigating the place even though some of the areas look kinda samey, but the active mission tells pretty much exactly where you're suppose to go so I have had no problems.

So yeah I'm having a blast with this one. Also RTX stuff is pretty cool.

I don't know the exact details for such review score but reading by the official announcement I bet the game is technically a total disaster.

SCP: the game

Let me tell you a few things about control in complete spoiler

1 - It's about two dimensional beings that are completely opposite one from another, Polaris and Hiss, one is benevolent and pure the other is chaos and darkness, they also get some sort of connection with the Darkness of Alan Wake.

2 - The bureau is completely unaware of what they are doing, in fact, they know little to nothing about the things they study, please read the documents and link them one to another, you will get amazing cases that are being studied, just keep in mind this, a few are channels for power, others are semi-conscientious entities that have their own abilities and intentions, the oldest house is a living being capable of connecting existing realities and dimensions and extends itself like a tree with branches.

3 - Unfortunately this game is, as I said, SCP in all but the name so, it's quite weird to get in without some base, on this, however, if it does the job, you will be into something, sad to read that this didn't happen to you :blobhug:

There's something going on at Ubisoft Montreal. All we know for sure is that the Police have been called to an "Armed Robbery" and some employees are up on the roof to get out of the way. Don't know if it's a Hostage situation, a robbery and people are staying out of the way or what exactly is going on.

The first tweet i saw when i noticed "Ubisoft Montreal" was trending.

I dearly hope nobody gets hurt during this, and I hope this isn't going to be another sad case of a nutjob giving the gaming community a bad name.

Edit : I just realized, reading reddit comments, that this is a very sad anniversary for the french. This is so cowardly either way I fail to find the words.

Swenhir Yup, details are thin at the moment because the police obviously aren't going to confirm anything while there's an ongoing operation. I'm hoping it's a prank call which is fucking stupid and dangerous but much better then an actual incident.

Well, people in the industry are largely saying this is real. Hostages perhaps taken, "armed robbery" is actually encouraging compared to the other, much worse scenario. Nothing to do but wait I'm afraid, and hope for the best.

Early reports by tabloids seem to indicate it's a prank, basically a Canadian version of swatting, would be my guess.
Gamers are the worst.

While I agree that this is terrible and by all means not a funny prank.
I disagree that this has anything to do with being a "gamer" or not. "Gamers" are neither worse nor better than other people engaged in a hobby.

Nobody is mixing soccer fans and hooligans and I don't think its fair to mix "gamers" with those scumbags either. Idiots are Idiots, independent of their hobby.

Well, I use the word to mean "toxic fans", the way you would use hooligans. I dunno, don't identify myself much with it, but I can see how it could be taken the wrong way.

It's lucky no one was hurt by this stunt. Hope they find out who did this.
