These miserable assholes at Epic really did moneyhat a game for 1 month huh?

Why do this shit? Only thing Rockstar will gain from this is thousands negative reviews on the steam store in december. No one who buys on Epic will double dip for steam version when its only a month too. So fucking stupid I don't even have words for this shit anymore.

Also wow @ that Humble monthly. Legit feel bad for anyone who just dropped 40$ on Spyro a month ago. These devs/pubs are doing their best to destroy all day 1 buying relationship with consumers.

Kinda wish they'd throw in more older COD titles tho. Don't really want WW2 game now but would love to play Advanced and Infinite Warfare campaigns.

I think reviews for RDR2 will come down to performance, but otherwise it'd get positive reviews methinks. Well assuming users are OK with playing it as a chill adventure in Wild West america of yore :V

Bladed Fury is currently on sale, and it's well worth the asking price:

If anyone is in the mood for a short-ish (4-5h, more to 100% it) action platformer with a visual style reminiscent of Muramasa: The Demon Blade, you could do a lot worse.

Finished Code Vein

It's not bad, but meh. Unless you really want a souls-like with an incredible character creator and class system I wouldn't recommend buying it full price. It's hard to compare CV bits to bits with the other two souls-like I played this year (Remnants and Sekiro), but I enjoyed my time with Sekiro A LOT more than with it and I wouldn't swap Remnants for Code Vein either. It's kinda strange, I don't regret pre-ordering it, but I can't fully recommend anyone to pick it unless discounted (at least 25% off, I'd say).

It's a game that I won't have issues forgetting in the coming months.

Man that humble monthly. Been pausing since March and finally going to redeem my last monthly from a year sub I bought from them in 2016.

RIP to those who bought Spyro last month.

I lost him at "steam fans". This attitude of portraying anyone who's critical towards something as a "fan" of a different thing is idiotic.
well could be worse , the mainstream media people calls anyoneslightly critical as toxic manbaby and weirldy enough have some problems with Derrick01's mom

I've never written a negative steam review before but I am really tempted now when I get RDR2 in Dec.

These companies treating gaming communities like shit in favor of a small $ (possible) return. Meanwhile putting literal casinos in games and advertising their games using slot machines. And they release the games on Epic and Google before steam..2 companies that have done fuck all for R* in the past decade. While the steam community that supported them for so many years has to wait a month. And this is all for a game that isn't even new.

It will never be enough for some of these shitty devs and pubs. Nothing will ever fill up their greed bar.

God it's painful watching Giantbomb play games sometimes and it's even worse when it's a game you know.
Still love 'em though.

Rocket League regional prices has been reverted, they are now using the same prices as they did two weeks ago. DLCs still are using the new prices.

I mean, Rockstar couldn't care less about the PC community even if they wanted. GTA IV still has GFLW, they never cared to update any of their old titles outside of removing songs and messing with mods compatibility, MP3 and GTAV online modes were turned to hell shortly after release and R* just ignored the issues in both cases, and you could go on and on all night long about how R* treated PC during and after the PS2 era. Supporting storefront exclusivity is just their way to take the most out of PC - from their perspective - that is.

Now, I don't know if I'll buy RDR2 on launch, that's entirely dependent on regional pricing and how I feel about the game itself by then, but I don't really see a reason to buy a game with the intent of giving it a negative review. I could spend the money I paid for it in games I would be glad to give a positive review, especially considering how reviews are important for some games out there in the coming sales season.

From the looks of people's posts from multiple places. :ripblob:

Someone saying this killed PC gaming for them is a bit dramatic though.
Yeah, that's an exaggeration, but I gotta say that I'm gonna wait a month or two before picking Crash Racing when it comes to PC, you know, just to be safe

Opinions on this one?

You shouldn't go into it expecting a story-heavy game, or something polished, or it being easy. All of those will lead to disappointment.

Personally, I played the entire game with a friend in co-op and it was really fun. Basically, the game is very much focused on open-ended exploration, and the old-school feeling of your character getting significantly more powerful and capable throughout the journey.

Tempted to buy the monthly, retry getting into Crash, rage like a madman and drop it.
Sounds like a solid plan for the morning.
No but seriously, the shit was super hard if memory serves, right ? And you have to get a whole lot of collectable to unlock the true ending ?

Yes and Yes.

Crash 1 is a fairly horrible game. At the time it was probably a big deal that people suffered through but it is frustrating and feels horrible to play.

The latter two games are much improved. While they can lean a bit heavy on gimmick levels (motorcycle, dogfighting, etc) those tend to be easy and fun. They do a good job mixing up the platforming levels that can get a little tiring if you play all the games in order.

I believe they always require collecting most everything for the best endings but that's insanity.

well they already did pre-order exclusive for Outward :p
Explain

Mr. X Handler costume is something I didnt know I needed
Seeing how they have done collaboration stuff before (Horizon Zero Dawn) and how Capcom has done collaboration stuff with Valve in the past, they should do a Monster Hunter World X Team Fortress 2 collaboration. Come on Capcom you can do it.
Does anyone know how to check if the WinGameStore region listing for Code Vein is correct? I was tempted to buy it and they have it on sale but they have only a version that says it can't be activated in the US. I've bought from them before and just think it's odd they don't have a version for US region.
Sorry if some one alt answered this question.

I actually contacted them since I pre-ordered the game through them and I was worried that I would not get the pre-order stuff but also that it would not let me play the game in the US. They basically told me that they ran out of US keys and only had keys left for other regions. This was a few days before the release of the game. I was able to activate my key and get my pre-order stuff since I placed my order when they stilled had US keys

there were no pre-orders for it on steam ... if you really wanted to pre-order that game (for some reason), you had to go with egs :p

they did do an extended launch discount on steam afterwards, though ;)

I would not be surprised to see Acti's games appear in a subscription like GamePass, or given away for free by Epic Games.
I think they panicked after signing the deal.

i imagine a lot of people are still able to refund it on steam, lol
Acti waited for 31 days, so that the people who purchased the game during the first 17 days are excluded for sure. The rest only if they played less than 2 h.

Finished my first spooky game for October.

Pretty easy point and click game. Took me about an hour and a half.

Pretty gross enemies (and main character to be honest) but still goofy and fun in a way. There were button mashing sections which were not fun especially since the final section had multiple of them that were pretty long. If you happen to do get stuck there is a hint system in game that will point you in the right direction.

Recommended if you already have sitting in your library. Seems to go for under a $1 frequently too.

Sleep well

Yes, Bulb Boy is quite disturbing but it's a pretty good and cheap game.

Not even with Fortnite money EGS could afford more than one month, holy shit
Considering that the last Rockstar games on PC stayed on the top seller list (and very high at that) for basically a year at full price too, it probably made billions in revenue. Even assuming that 2/3 of all possible Steam customers will buy it on the Epic store (which I could imagine if they got a lengthy exclusivity period), that would still require Epic to pay them a billion or more. Even Fortnite money doesn't justify that kind of spending.

Of course, I am not sure who in the world will buy it from Epic knowing it's on Steam with all associated goodies a month later. Seems not just petty, but utterly pointless.
