Lots of modders have successfully added rtx to old games in the past few months, right?

It's cool if NVIDIA can implement it officially.

What the hell is wrong with Battlefield V? I queue into a game of Rush and it straight-up throws me into a server that's in the process of being mass abandoned. One minute later, there's only 8 people left. What kind of dogshit matchmaking is this?

Whats the name of your collections/tags in your library. Im unsure if I should still keep mine. I got "Games I wanna finish" which are installed one-and-done games, "Virtual Reality - Play" which are allk currently installed VR games, "Games I wanna play" which are all games I really wanna play, but haven't installed.

The last one "Endless" is a big one cause it has games that seemingly doesn't end. RTS, roguelikes, strategy games, gaas games etc.

Backlog
Finished
Free 2 Play
Multiplayer
Fighting Games
Roguelike

I basically just follow your line of thinking and tag games by how "completionable" they are

If anyone is in the mood for some horror games with a "low-poly" aesthetic, developer Puppet Combo has released a compilation of 4 of his older titles (that will soon be updated to have a story "wraparound" connecting the titles):

He also has a Halloween bundle that features this, and his other 4 itch.io releases, for an affordable price:

That's one way to make sure your tech doesn't eventually fall by they way side, ala physX. Not sure how to feel, like is this really a good use of Nvidia's time?

What with PS5 confirmed to have RT hardware, their tech is absolutely assured success now.

PhysX is the physics engine of Unreal Engine 4 and used for many things in Unity.

So we just have premium quality RT remakes, which is the most exciting thing of all.

I'd love to see them do Quake 1 RTX, but there are a lot of sourceless light sources (simply point lights inserted into the scene), and not many area light opportunities as Quake 2 (just the skybox and lava I guess...). So that really needs an artist to go in there and add appropriate light sources and maybe some nice volumes to have area lights while not ruining the amazing style of Q1.

I don't have any collection. Too much work.

Seeing as I own the first Majesty game, I am afraid I won't start Majesty 2 next year :S Maybe I'll do Majesty 1 first then go into 2 at a later date.

I may even rework my plan and concept so it is 2009 first then, looking up what games I own and playing them in year of release order starting from the 1980s :P
Granted I may not play ALL of them, skipping earlier games in the process but it comes down to my mood.

tl;dr I'ma redo my 2020 game plan.

Spyro 1 and 2 down. Spyro 1 is easily my favorite of the two. I preferred the level size, style, and pace of the game. Still enjoyed myself.
Yup. I kinda did a 180° on that. Up until recently, I always thought Spyro 2 and 3 were superior to Spyro 1... but after playing the reignited trilogy, I think I preferred the more streamlined design of Spyro 1.

Edit: oh and thanks for bringing up Dicey Dungeons a few weeks back. I ended up buying it... and the OST is indeed great (my favorite track being Swing Me Another 6) and I really like the game (although it's really difficult... and I'm pretty sure I've lost quite a few runs entirely because of RNG).

I played a bit of Majesty 1 for the first time a few weeks ago!

Such a lovely, purely pleasant game! 😀
