Wish i had waited so long to dive into Divinity OS2. Feels good to get some use out of that kickstarter backing.
Maybe I'll have to look at turn based rgps a little differently. Could this be my entry into jrgps?.....

I do admit it's tempting but I can't justify getting one in the near future, my 1070 is still perfectly functional and will hopefully last another couple of years before my next overhaul and I also decided to wait for the complete edition of CP2077 so there isn't literally anything that I intend to play in the meantime that'll demand this horsepower.
It's a great deal for someone looking for a new GPU right now though.

3070 is gonna jump up to the top of the Steam hardware survey by the end of the year.

$500 is still a lot for a card, but yeah damn pricing it at that has me tempted to upgrade from this 1070 I got last year lol.

So, no more console and PC parrity silliness right? Nvidia basically confirmed that even their new poor people's card is more powerful than either console. 3090 is just a beast. 50% over 2080ti, goddamn.
Ahhhhh hahahahahahaha I like your wishful thinking. Fan boys gonna Fan boy on both sides of the fence. Reason doesn't apply to those types. They'll just find some other tiny details and edge cases to bicker over.

$500 to take a jab at the previous gaming top of the line is crazy, I want one, like probably a lot of other people. Feels like the true upgrade for obsolete cards owners.

And the 3080 is gonna be one of those "best deal in years" again for those with more monies.

And they still have the lower priced card to sweep up what's left of the market, it's probably the best time in forever for modest wallets targeting 60FPS.

Great showing by NVidia. I don't regret buying my 5600XT, but I don't think I'll be picking AMD again anytime soon.

By the way, I also ended getting FIFA 20, it's $5 right now and I figured that it'd would be worth it for the Volta mode plus offline mp with my brother when he's around.

Fuck you with those prices nvidia, lmao. Will they also come out with a $3000 Titan since the 3090 isn't that?

Hope all the ryzen money gets amd to compete in the mid/high range gpus, that is pre-ryzen intel behavior.

I got my 1080 non ti for like ~500 before miners caused supply shortages, I aint paying much more for such.

the new $500 card is a pretty big jump from current gen $500 card. slightly annoyed as someone who owns one but i wasn't planning to go 4k and don't really use raytracing cause i can't tell the difference (blind? perhaps). so i think i'm fine where i am techwise.

I guess all that actual-gamer-not-ceo money is too sweet to stick to one poor developer's "principles" and "fighting for a better cut, quality be damned", weird...

I have no idea when I will build a new PC. I've had around 3,3k ready for more than 1 year and I can push it to 4k if I really want. I build my currenty PC summer 2016.

I still just wanna see how long my current setup can hold. So right now Im at the very least also waiting to see how Ryzen 4000 will do.

I planned to only upgrade the GPU, but the more I read about how 1080p is CPU-driven and how my 5820k can bottleneck it, I might as well just do a new build.

ryzen 4000 and these 30 series cards might be the time. the cards really seem like a big leap and 4000 should be too.

They have no competition on the higher end, that's why. But better than 2080ti performance on a $500 card is a big leap. Card will be minimum $650 here, once you consider import taxes and VAT, so I'm not jumping on the bed either.
