Regarding that Tropico bundle, has there ever been a reason to play an older game in the series when a new one has been released? Every new release always seemed like an incremental update since 3.

I've read that some people enjoy the soundtrack in 3 other the others, but that seems to be pretty much it.

I think general opinion is Tropico 6 is a better version of 5 and more complex (higher learning curve than all others). So between those two games go with the latest.

However fan opinion though is 4 is the best of all the games (at this time) as it has the most content and longer campaign.

Game is also on GamePass PC for those are subbed and want to try it.

Hint: He wanted devs to add him as Steam friend, even he put his email on stream. He owns the game but has never played the game.
Whatever it takes I guess....

Reason: Added scammer

Anyone played Gamedec?, looks like a quality made game with not much buzz about it. Very positive Reviews as well.

As far as I know about Gamedec : vey nice idea, innovative gameplay, BUT : flawed story, last parts of the game not as developed as the beginning, and translation issues, with sometimes polish language instead of English or French.

Not a bad game, but it could have needed more polish :steam_cleanseal:

Played several hours in Early Access, it was enjoyable but it's a grinding machine.

You need to do repetitive tasks all day, especially at the beginning. And fetch a lot of stones and wood, one piece at a time. Very time consuming.

But I enjoyed it for hours, and I know I'll dive in again with 1.0.

Sounds like it needed less Polish :p

Was it in early access, I can see them putting everything upfront then not having enough money to round out the back half of the game.

I kickstarted it, but currently too much other stuff and way too little to really explore it.
It features its own setting where VR gaming and what we might call the "metaverse" has essentially become a major social phenomenon, to the point that people even try to manipulate and cheat to attain social status or even money in some cases. As the systems are too complex for even AIs to find out about this, there's a demand for " game detectives", or gamedecs to find out if foul play is involved and find out who is doing it.
The setting seems interesting enough, but I haven't really played enough to say whether the game is doing something interesting with this setting or not.

The Plane Effect looks pretty darn awesome
on my wishlist. I liked the demo despite a couple puzzles that were a bit too obtuse
there's one point where you need to use a phone booth to call a taxi, and I wasted a few minutes thinking there was a bug because there was no button prompt to enter the taxi. turns out you can't enter the cab at all and you're only supposed to use it as a distraction to access another part of the level, something never really made clear

Don't know if I'm going to wait for a patch or two before playing Sable. But I "had" to buy it now because it has good regional pricing and these days that is fixed later more often than not.

It's also cheap enough that is not worth dealing with my "free" Gamepass version where I can't apply 90% of the fixes the community comes up with and wait weeks more for patches.

In my opinion this is kinda not DRM free

I don't know how it would be possible to play Hitman without an online connection given the way they structure the progression in that game. Everything needs to hit their server. What can you even do offline? Anything?

Please note: Internet connection is required to access Escalation missions, Elusive Targets or user-created Contracts. Story and bonus missions can be played offline.
Says you can play everything offline, just not the elusive target and user-created contracts. I never really played Hitman much so I don't know if they changed anything. I know Hitman 3 has some connection stuff going on with SP when I watched someone stream it, maybe not the first game?

Wasn't Kohung 2 the game a ton of people were addicted to back on GAF? They even setup a group to play against each other and some of them had been playing Kohung 1 & Kohung 2 and had like a decade of experience with it?

The reception of Timberborn Early Access has blown our minds. In the first seven days since launch, the game sold over 130,000 copies and maintained 94% positive Steam reviews.
Timberborn was the 7th top game seller last week by revenue. Unfortunately due to regional pricing we can't make an avg number to guessestimate the possible revenue but the review guessestimation is a bit off for this tittle.

Sergey Galyonkin gets the best estimate without any additional work. :toucan:

Review multiplier: ~ 80.

That multiplier is unusually high. It might be 130k sales between Steam, GOG and EGS.

How much money can a game journalist earn ? Must be super low, but better than my zero.
I need to work, I can’t continue living like this, but I also can’t really do a traditional work, too much social interactions.
