It seems like it'd be suicide to remove those from Steam as the community around the games is heavily built off modding etc. Not exclusively of course, but people that muck about with mods are usually the ones driving a lot of the hype around those ones. I suspect game pass players amount for almost nothing for these games.
Also I'm sure they want people and not Epic buying copies so they can sell more DLC to those people.

By the way good and bad news.

As of now the position that I initially got hired on for at my job no longer exist. The good thing is that they ended up moving me to a different department. So I still have a job but some people were let go. That really sucks.

I don't think I have ever been fire from a job/let go because of how the business was not very financially stable.

But that must just really suck being told that you position is no longer available and that you have been let go since the company can afford to keep you on.

During the beginning of the Pandemic something like that did happen for a lot of people

Just depressing stuff

I think i will just activate invincibility and i'm done with the combat.

I actually expect to see PC-related announcement after the Sony show.

As God of War 2 may be there, my optimistic expectation would be some kind of enhancement for the original God of War on PS5... then PC version through a subsequent tweet.
Something like this is not impossible, in fact it would be the way it happens, however chances are extremely low.

So it seems that developers can share information and footage of their games running on Steam Deck with the public?
At least judging the wording, yeah, perhaps they can,

More Japanese games
Hopefully PC, although you never know with NIS/A

Yeah that is what I did also and loved the game. You can also put on story based combat so its faster.

Did they release the Prinny games on PC. For a while I stopped following NIS. Think it was when they started charging extra on the UK prices.

There are a few I missed from my PS2 days. Like La Pucelle.

There was one I had to stop playing. I was enjoying the game but everybody hated the main character and it just got so depressing.

Anyone read about the news that Paradox current CEO stepping down, not tomorrow or next month, but right away today. Fredrik
Vester, their former CEO steps up to take the role as CEO again. Ebba Ljungerud became PDX CEO in 2018, so she was their CEO for about 3 years only. They are saying that she quit because of differences on how the company should move forward to.

Anyone got some insider with some juicer information on why she quit, because it sounds very suddenly to me. I read in some thread that she wanted to focus more on mobile games, which isn't what the board wants perhaps.
From the differing views it seems that Ebba just wanted to go back into their core games (hardcore strategy games) after some of their "expansion genre" games were not really succesful. Fredrik and the board were / are pretty much into expanding Paradox outside of their niche.
Sadly, I dont see Paradox being able to do that unless they expand by purchasing other studios / IPs (as they did with Prison Architect) and they live in prime Embracer territory now so all their easy partners have been bought (Coffee Stain or Valheim would have been easy "gets" to Paradox had it not been for them being Embraced).

Beyond eyes looks like it will be delisted in the near future. It is on sale atm

That last part is...ominous

Is El Shaddai good?
Errrm

It is a simple action adventure game
Combat is basic and there are some light platforming in some sections
It is a game that has a lovely visual design with a story taking ques from ancient apocrypha.
If u want a simple action adventure game i think one may like it.

As is the pc port needs a few fixes but otherwise runs fine.

Does anyone know where save files for El Shaddai are located yet? I know it's extremely early, but I am getting a new PC today and I would like to backup my progress from last night.
I don't own the game, but this information from its cloud configuration should help you if you still need to find it.

So it sums up to Ebba wants to keep PDX small, while Fredrik with the board wants to become bigger.
Neither is a bad pick, as there are successful studios which are focused in some areas, as well as examples as Embracer.
Also have the less successful stories such as Starbreeze which expanded into several areas and then everything blew up for them. Hope the best for PDX anyhow ;)

Again I don't want to be the bad guy, and sorry for the little off-topic but that person is just abusing the giveaway system.

I thought he deserved a second chance but he is clearly entering every single giveaway he can to get free keys which feels clearly as an abuse.
At least he could participate in Meta but he didn't and he doesn't.

I'm probably one of the few on Meta that feels like this in this regard but I wanted to share my thoughts and make it public. I think Meta is a very nice place and I don't want it to be spoiled by few in bad faith.

@Valdien It must be a bug.

Probably not, I think its working as intended based on this:

An option to automatically turn raffles into a first-come, first-serve type at the end of the countdown

Agreed, I've given him a warning as well. We need one more.

Hey folks, I posted this yesterday in the Epic thread but nobody flocked at the chance so I’ll post it here as well for those that don’t roam outside of this thread lol …

Would anyone like an Epic key for Space Punks? It’s from IGN Prime and I’d like to give it away so it doesn’t go to waste. Send me a pm and it’s yours

Downunder.
And these are just the blockbusters... 2022 is indeed very exciting.
I think what's amazing is that if you ask any of our members here to compile a list of 2022 games they are looking forward to, they will give you an entirely different list. Such is the depth of choices we can expect these days.

I don't think we'll be starving for quality games anytime soon.

There are already 3 games I'm legitimately very excited about that will probably release in 2022:
Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3, and Hollow Knight: Silksong

3 might not sound like much, but "games I'm very excited about before release" get more and more rare so it's pretty exceptional.

Of course, at least 2 of these could not make it.

I see 7 for me

Elden Ring
Ghostwire
Starfield
Midnight Sun
Plague Tale 2
Oxenfree 2
STALKER 2

Although pretty sure Pragmata and Callisto Protocol are already 2023

PC Building Simulator is definitely one of the best simulator games IMO.

I consider these to be on the same level:
Yeah, House Flipper and PowerWash Sim are the bomb.

Was idlily curious about Cooking Sim, but the more vids I watched the more it seemed like time-pressure/plate juggling (doing 10 things at once) was a major component to the game. And that's simply an instant "nope" from me.

Funny thing about PowerWash Sim. Like I knew it was gonna get a year-end Top 10 spot as early as my first gameplay session.

But man, my draw to randomly fire it up has only increased over time. As in, "Yeah, I'll def drop it somewhere in the list." to "Welp, this is now in the Top 3 rotation. Wonder if it'll steal the #1 spot."

Didn't see that coming.
