This is so wholesome, I can't :cryingwhyblob:. That's so cool to have a gamer grandma :cat-heart-blob:
She was the reason I started gaming when I was really little. She loved anything survival horror, RE, Dino Crisis, and Silent Hill were her favorite series. She use to volunteer at haunted houses and loved to scare/be scared, she use to wait until I was walking down the hallway to jump out and scare the heck out of me hahaha. Of course she also loved games like Harvest Moon, Tetris, and Dark Cloud. It was really cool when I was growing up, we would hang out every other weekend and just play tons of video games all day and night together, good memories.

Wild Hearts looks like a promising Monster Hunter-like but why is it such a low quality trailer? The way it's cut we can't really tell how combat's gonna feel, what kind of moves you have other than drop attacks from jumping off the structures etc., though those contraptions seem like a neat idea going beyond MH tools (it could still go either way if they place too much focus on them however, make it feel like wannabe building in Fortnite or something with less core action). The monsters remind of Mononoke's corrupted by the curse gods so that's cool for sure. Toukiden 2 also looked pretty great but I wasn't a fan in the end.

I really hate how some developers and publishers make it difficult to claim Prime Gaming content for their games. For Phantasy Star Online, I have to download the game, launch the game and link the Amazon account to the game to claim it. For other games, I have to redeem codes to get my stuff.

Well this is new, Ubisoft started selling indie games on their store

This isn't the first time that Ubisoft tried to sell non-Ubisoft published and developed games. I wouldn't be surprised if they give it up like the last time.

thats indeed cool! none of my grandparents (or parents) ever gamed....but my grandfather had Philips consoles (the Odyssey2/Videopac+; and then the CD-i) and a PC and some games; but he got those for us grandkids, Im not sure if he ever played anything himself....he was just into tech (he would still install satellite dishes for people well into retirement)

Picked up some old big boxes off ebay recently.
I think you can use the CD key from the StarCraft box for a digital version on BNet

It was such liberation when I got rid of all my physical games. But there are moment when I think how awesome it would be to have a library of those old pc boxes again.
Yeah I tossed them all, too... except FAKK2 and NOLF, since theyre not available digitally (yet). Also got some CDs/DVDs from other games that arent on Steam (yet) but I dont have the boxes anymore, either.

(Played FAKK2 again recently, got frustrated and stopped at the first boss :toucan: )

i think some of us would get a bit swamped by them if they had library like that out of their digital library

That's pretty ... complete. Just needs the Intel thing I forgot the name of.
iirc the lionbridge build this vid was from is from before Intel thing was even announced ... i would probably expect at this point its already in (looking at the frequence of testing here https://steamdb.info/app/1649240/history/ )

What is better

Nier Automata?

Or this

By the way there is actually is a correct answer to this.

Ignore what the "lies" that Hektor will try to tell you.

Durante knows the truth, while the games may be similar in a way there is one major difference between them that makes one better than the other.

I'll let you all guess what it is.

Also a 4090 has almost 100 TFLOPS. And yet performance is nowhere near where I thought such a number would get us.
For some reason, I thought a card 5x more powerful than my 3070 would handle native 4k better, but we're still not there. I don't know if this is because gaming graphics are poorly optimized to utilize TFLOPS or because... what?

I'm hoping that the popularity of the deck will help get better optimised games on PC, since I think many devs want their games run well on the deck and if it can run well on that then it should be able to run even better on better hardware.
