Already did, it works.
Ok so I assume I need to first go to "I want to permanently remove this game from my account" under Steam Support for the one I own and then someone helps me gift the collection?

Anyone willing to lend a hand? :cat-heart-blob: I can help gifting a copy or pay via PP

Yeah, that and before you click accept the gift restore the permanently remove game back to your account again via the same support page.

Need to find someone from the same region country though for gifting.

Kena is 25% off (29.99$) on Steam. Sorry devs historical low for your game is 20$ so I will wait that price. They could have at least matched Epic Store price without coupon I think 23.99$.
not to mention:

complete assholes

They just need to hit up lashman
He is a game promoting machine. My wishlist is bursting coz of him.
i wish they did, at least then maybe i would be able to afford some food :negative-blob:

Gaming press 3+ years ago: "Valve is destroying indies with 30% cut!!!"

Gaming press forever:

Im so fucking tired of these bullshit conversations that have been going for 10 years now.
Can indiedevs just shut the actual fuck up?

There are just too many games. That's it. That's all there has ever been to it.
The thing you are doing wrong as an indiedev is only one thing: TRYING TO BE A SUCCESSFUL FUCKING INDIEDEV.

It's just like kiddos starting a band and wanting to be Rockstars. Yes sure, some bands came to be known as Metallica, Megadeth or Bad Religion.
But 99% of bands disbandend before they left the garage.

Some indies should know part of game budget is marketing and promo and some companies live from this.
How to market stuff and get attention with the tools at your disposal is a pretty key skill in many areas of life.
Simply sending emails to large sites, when they don't know you, your game, and probably have enough on their plate already and giving them an embargo is a very strange move. Like, "please talk about my game" but also "don't talk about my game before date X!" Complete idiocy.

Maybe I'll replay it again one of these days.
Hear it from a professional Game watcher:
Just watch a lets play of those games, while you work or play another game (that is not demanding too much attention)
Not only do you get the reaction of the person playing the game, there is also a good chance you wouldn't finish the game anyway

Yep, it's quite simply this.

It cannot be overstated how utterly saturated the indie games scene is, I mean the "indiepocalypse" guff was years ago and the pace of releases has only gone one way (hint: it's not down).

And that's just talk of indies alone let alone the wider gaming landscape and anything else in media etc competing for people's free time.

This is really on point.

As someone who doesn't even f**ks with the AAA scene at all, I still only have the real-world time to explore just a fraction of the indies I'm interested in overall.

I've simply stopped trying to keep up with it all because it's literally impossible to do so. I instead just enjoy what's in front of me before moving on to the next title of interest that crosses my radar.

It's not my job to prop up the entire indie segment of the market nor should I feel obligated or guilty for not being everywhere at once.

That tweet is incredibly naïve, and I say that as someone who loves the indie/hyper-indie market dearly.

As with any modern democratized entertainment media today (YouTube, TikTok, Bandcamp, itch.io, whatever) talent is not enough. Timing and luck can be just as important. It's the price paid for having the middlemen & gatekeepers of old, Big Publishers, Big Record Companies, etc. completely removed from the equation.

Artists are now using cheap and intuitive production tools and connecting/selling direct to the audiences. That's an explosion of talent, breaking the dam once held back by Big Execs that only let the few "chosen ones" trickle through to the public's eyes and ears. Of course there's going to be a glut of talent because of that.

No one is owed anything, and it's foolish to think otherwise. That's why with any artistic pursuit, you do it for yourself first. If someone notices along the way, great. Congratulations. But if your work goes unnoticed, at least you hopefully created something you can be proud of.

Participation trophies are not a thing in any cutthroat business where there's dozens hundreds of talents just as good as you looking to get a very real finite set of eyes on their projects.

As the quoted post nods to, You know it's sad but true.

Talking about indie saturation, did I misunderstand something with the new Steam Charts or are Tinykin, Beacon Pine and Prodeus absent from the Top 100 ?
For Tinykin that's understandable given its very relative age. For Beacon Pine, well, if you consider it more a VN than anything else... but Prodeus just bombed it's 1.0 release ?

I guess that's the downside of opting for early access. You just can't have two launches, outside of exceptions.

Fact: everyone and it's neighbor is making games, and failing to sell them.
Observation : I am not making games.
Conclusion : I'm a creative shit. It hurts. Now leave me alone and leave that damn curtain closed, no sun !

You thought 2000€ MSRP was bad....

The times of GPUs being worth a month rent are long gone... But rejoice ! A little effort and they will be worth a year's energy bill.

edit
Though we are maybe already there, I was more alluding to the UK situation. Let me calculate... oh yeah, already past that point here. Not by much, though :blobclosecry:

Deleted my post regarding Sakura Kakumei. I don't want to talk about it anymore. The whole situation about it was incredibly sad and it still pains me. I swore I wouldn't touch one single gacha game ever again after it was shut down, and the promise is still being kept to this day.

Oh fuck, Amid Evil is so good too ! So fucking good.
I feel like I'm the cake is a lie late to the party, but hey, we are going back to the flood of games topics.

This game has many fans, that's good, I should check it.
Years pass, I check it.
WHY DIDN'T I PLAY THIS SOONER ? :so-good-blob:

I've waited a long time for this but IT'S TRAILS FROM ZERO DAY!!!

Also really glad I thought to check Fanatical this time. No tax + a 15% off coupon. :steam_pigblanket:

edit: Durante I have no idea if this is something you have control over (all I know is there was a flag for it on SteamDB) and it's completely inconsequential tbh but any chance you can do something about the sorting order here?
