funny enough part of the reason i got mac from the shelter was him being so little. come to find that he was just very underweight and now i've got another 11lb big catNow that's just not fair, Mac! You take up the whole thing!

curious kittyvery windy here today (30-40 mph) and mac has been planted in front of a window enjoying everything blowing around
good to hear it's (probably) nothing seriousThursday night: vomiting
Friday night: vomiting
Saturday morning: vomiting
So well, my late Saturday morning was at the vet, worried
Turns out the physical exam was good and he just prescribed some pill for a few days.
That my cat vomited asap.
So he had his first pill in shot form.
We have to watch over him this week end, Monday is neutering time.
I'm glad nothing major was detected, still a little worried, and my budget is now a war zone. Vets don't joke around.
good news then that's great to hearSo, to expand a little on my previous post.
Nice lady vet took blood sample and analyzed it, kitty is peachy.
Then, decidedly very nice vet lady did some medical imagery and again, kitty is peachy.
So kitty was neutered as planned. And we don't really know what he suffered from, some gastric thing most probably. The only dark possibility would be something stuck in is bowels that wouldn't appears on the scans because of a non metallic nature. So gotta watch for poop.
But ! I can attest that he ate today (with the painkilling liquid sneakily in), and I'm just waiting for him to make a big old stinker in his litter to release 3-4 days of anxiety. His behavior is back to normal at least.
adorable!About to have a snooze on the cool bathroom floor after her walk.
The city is really not a place for domestic cats to roam around, I cannot tell you what to do, obviously, but my suggestion is to keep him inside. Did you get him sterilized? If not, maybe he's in heat and wants out because of that? There are way too many risks involved and available vaccines are not enough to prevent serious diseases cats can get from stray ones.I know some people will say to just let him out. I don't know. If we do that it's another vaccine shot and the risk of being rolled over by a car or take a beating from stray cats. I'm really sad, whatever your opinion of me here is, believe me, I'm torn apart.
