The IMB sale is going on right now
Strange, I'm not seeing a link on the front page.

In fact, a lot of them are not displaying (Steam has been having a lot of problems lately).

For those who can't find it either, here's a direct link to the sale:

Don’t know if it is using lower dpi or I am developing progamer skillz but I am doing better in Half-Life 2 now on normal than when I played it back then on easy. I remember really struggling hitting the gunships but now it is no problem for me

Also remembering the word about Alyx being that because it is VR they can’t put you up against more than three or so combine soldiers. The encounters in Half-Life 2 are mostly not that bigger if at all. Other than Ravenholm I think you can count the bigger ones on one hand.
But maybe I misunderstood and it was meant for all enemy types

Guys, any feedback on the monitors I previously mentioned?

The above ones are around the price I wanted to pay. :)

Someone is trying to make me play Sekiro
Fair warning, it's really different. I usually can endure a fair amount of bullshit, but it's the one From game that made me throw up my arms and give up because of the tedium of it.

Still, it's really cool that co-op has been added, just like that. PC!

Ugh, I wish they'd remaster one of the not-paradise Burnouts. I never really enjoyed it as much as the others. And I like Forze Horizon plenty, Paradise just isn't what I want in my Burnout game.

I'm playing through OG Persona 5 since I want to beat the game. And what sucks is that the part that I stopped playing the game at was 1 in game day after the last time that you can upgrade Ryujis confident level.... So that sucks...

The game is still nice like a remember and compared to say the Uncharted games that I played last week I feel more "concerned" for the characters here despite me not remembering too much of what has happened.

What does EA HD and EA Partners mean? I just want to migrate some stuff away from Origin, like Titanfall 2 and Crysis 3. I kind of don't care about anything else EA does anymore. (new Star Wars game and C&C excepted)

I wanted to replace my GPU... then noticed my CPU is getting old so of course I'm going to swap my CPU and Mobo... then I said "well, if I consider making so big of an investment, I should also change my old PSU, just in case... I wouldn't want it to die in a blaze of glory and bring all my new shiny components down with it". Now I'm close to the point when I'm starting to consider swapping the case just because. This is going SO great.

Nice, I've been hoping for a Sierra repeat since I regretted skipping it the last time. It's also the first non-monthly Humble in a looooong time that has more than a couple games I want, let alone one where I don't own anything and actually want like 90% of it.

Not that I've played anything in months but bundles are like the one thing I can't stop buying lol.

bought a new desk that is a lot more open and gives me more room and can already tell the difference with how much cooler my room is with it compared to before with it being warm outside also.

on topic. Started some Gears tactics on gamepass and seems to play well. only finished first chapter in act 1 but enjoyed it so far.

Just finished

Took about 1.5 hours.

Feel Im on a roll with finishing games. The story was confusing and weird, didn't understand it all, but I liked it. The story was told through the music atmosphere, facial expression and documents. The music was great, game design great, but the way the game was cut was weird, like a movie.

EA HD means stuff like remasters/HD ports

And EA partners are indie games that EA publishes

It is an interactive movie, a non FMV one.

I literally had massive regret when I missed out on being able to purchase this bundle on humble when it was available and nowits back again! I'm scrambling to find 12 dollars to buy it

LOL.

I started and finished Virginia today too. Weird.

Enjoyed it quite a bit as well.

Great, brisk pacing.

I wish that I knew about the Ryuji thing because now I am going to have to "replay" about 4 hours or so of Persona 5. Welp.

I want to do so that I can get MAX on all social links. The issue is that I am not sure all of the stuff that I did though.

Heck screw it seeing how I wanted to play P5 just to finish it, I think I will forget about the max social link (achievements sort of suck)

Well at least I will know about this for Persona 5 Royal and eventually when I get to that game I will end up finishing it a lot sooner because I have read what happens already (I'm a slow reader)

So Medal of Honor VR is Spring next year and Fallen Order 2 is probably late 2021 title.

Respawn is really busy heh. They were such a good pick up for EA.

I wonder what the unannounced HD EA title is tho.

It has to be something from BioWare. Mass Effect trilogy remastered? Maybe they'll do a Dragon Age collection remastered to slowly start hyping people up for new Dragon Age which is probably next year as well or Spring 2022.

I launched the game Devil Engine for the first time in some time today, and had an unpleasant surprise: now, after the intro plays, and after a fraction of a second passes from the main menu appearing, the game changes the screen to display this message:

I really don't get this developer.
He has a business dispute with the publisher of the game. Fine. The place to settle things is in a court.
Instead, he resorts to insults or attacking people, and trying to pressure others to harass their publisher, mob style.

When news came out about his disagreements with Dangen, people immediately took his side.
But, there's plenty of things that have really rubbed me the wrong way in all of this, from his side.

Starting when, after this "scandal" broke, in a reply Dangen mentioned communications problems with him, including "toxic" behaviour against several members of the staff. He didn't deny his behaviour. His defence was that he has autism.

Then, there's his constant attacks on twitter. That's a really professional way of handling things: on social media.

And then, when I happen to check the forums for updates, what I usually get is posts like:

To quote him:
«Stay away from Dangen, Hitcents, Black Shell Media, Nicalis, Chucklefish, Yacht Club, and probably a few other usual suspects I'm forgetting. »

So yeah, his problem isn't only with Dangen. A lot of other indies, like Yacht Club (yeah, the guys from Shovel Knight) are also a target for his comments, for whatever reason.

And now, this crap?
I mean, I bought the game at launch, and because several months later he has a disagreement with the publisher, he updates the game, so it stops and displays that message every time I want to play it?

Is this a reasonable way to handle things?

I highly regret buying this game.
Not because of the lack of quality of the game. The game is quite fun, and one of my favourite among "new" shmups.
But, knowing I supported a shitty publisher, and a shitty developer, who decides I should no longer be able to keep experiencing the game without pointing me to his childish "crusade", makes this a bad purchase indeed.

Mark my words: if this guy releases another game in the future, be prepared for similar complaints, and drama.
That is, if he can find a publisher for his game, after essentially attacking almost every publisher of indie games around.

I feel like buying a PSVR. For some games that may or may not eventually come to PSVR.

Right now it would seem Yoshida's, from PlayStation, favorite VR game so far this year is Paper beast.

The game is also made by the game that make the original Isekai the video game. So it's all artsie and stuff and has unique looking creatures.

Cool stuff.

And people seem to like it in general.

Also I have a copy of the PSVR game that Fromsoft made since a physical copy was just $10USD at GameStop at the time.

For Move controllers I could potentially buy the Google Tilt Brush bundle that Sony sells for $100USD.
