I think they might implement code from CP2077 into W3.
That hopefully includes DLSS.
That's not a bad idea. There is even software that is designed for RPGs.

I think that specific engine required bespoke set-up in every corner of the world and outside of marketing screenshots did not hold up well. At least that's the explanation that Jose Teixeira gave. A lot of the "downgrade" talk was driven by people just looking to troll the shit out of the most hyped game of the last few years in my view.
Edit : if you are interested, you can probably find a few screenshots that really had bad lighting and blown-up exposure. It was rather clearly the old TW2 engine applied to an open-world, at least to me.

Firs Death Come True becomes a 1 month switch exclusive despite being annonced for PC first.
Then it isn't even good.
Then Death March Club, which was also annoucned for PC first becomes a temporary iOS exclusive.
Then it gets a switch version announced to release 6 months later with no mention of a PC version even being planned anymore.
Now they are saying on LAUNCHDAY that the iOS version isn't even a complete game.
Anf worst of all
They aren't even saying if the iOS version will get a free upgrade later with the ending.

Yeah. It was recently added to Game Pass, so that's possible. Crying Suns and The Occupation are about a year old. .
CK3 is fantastic, so many QoL additions that makes it easier to understand and grasp than CK2.
I bought Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair last month so Humble will probably have that today.
