Well, it's a mix between wrong and right, as for right now the workers are rotating when going to the office and some don't even go because they can do their roles from home, however, most of the challenges are not due to the structure of the company but the current situation, I mean, Support teams are working, PR is working and while active development is not what it used to be last few years in the office, they are still actively working at a slower pace.

I mean, Square-Enix doesn't have a flat structure and Matsuda already said "expect a harsh 2021 in terms of delays" so... not really sure why that relation.

About the NZ thing, I see a lot of people confused and as for right now the Bellevue office will still be their main HQ and that won't change in the near future, Gabe wants a temporary office there to be more involved personally with a team although Gabe's role has been lowering over the years so it's more his move is more symbolic than anything else, however it is good news that he wants to stay active inside the company.

(By lower I don't mean nonexistent, 2 very different things)

I say why not, get curious about RPS review of Amnesia, get spoiled blind in the first few lines.

So, I don't take too much offense because 'spoil' is relative for each person, and I was the one who looked for it in a way, but for fuck's sake, isn't there a way to not divulge so much in a review ?

This seems more like an opinionated dig at the flat structure than anything else to me. What would a hierarchy provide that they couldn't arrange themselves? I don't even really understand what it has to do with support, that's the problem.

Also, I tend to loathe hierarchies for the way they so often end up getting the wrong people in the wrong place and ascribing value to your height on the ladder rather than the way you do your job, so there's that.

They are full on remakes using the assets/gameplay etc of the most recent games.
Kiwami 1 is a remake of Yakuza 1 and based on Yakuza 5's "experience" and Kiwami 2 based on Yakuza 6's.

So, I don't know if anyone here knows about CoD4 Promod. It was a mod for Call of Duty 4 (duh) that changed the gameplay dramatically (mostly be removing a lot of things which were deemed random and casual) and focused on delivering a competitive environment, one that resembled vCoD (alternative name for the very first Call of Duty - Vanilla Call of Duty, to distinguish it from CoD as a series) and CoD2. Here's some footage and most known frag movies from it:

So, why am I talking about it? That's because Bulkhead Interactive, the studio behind Battalion 1944, in which Square Enix acquired 20% stake a few years ago, is apparently making a spiritual successor to it as their passion project, to be revealed soon (though quoting Bulkhead CEO, "Not that soon, but sooner than you might think"). Battalion was a mix between CoD2 and CoD4 Promod, which resulted in an experience closest to CoD WaW Commod, which was a mostly unknown Promod clone for CoD WaW. The game shared Commod's fate (that being bad player retention) and fell into obscurity. It seems they're now focusing on CoD4 Promod experience solely. As someone who played that extensively back in the day and loved every minute of it, I'm naturally excited at the prospect of it coming back, because it's a very unique take on FPS with perfect mix of tactical and fast-paced gameplay free of gadgets, perks, killstreaks and similar that plague new CoD games.

This game got some anime as fuck looking characters, so buyer beware in case you only wishlisted.
It could STILL scratch that FF Tactics itch but if uninspired anime designs kill your interest in a game, alas this game has them.

Fuck, I just checked the PS Store and Id/Beth doubled the price for Year One Pass and I have a bad feeling they are gonna do that on Steam too considering the pass is much cheaper than buying the expansions separate. I might cave in.

It also says it's a pre-purchase on Steam, but Im gonna assume it's because the second expansion isn't out yet.

It is quite fun. I too struggle to progress though, Im playing with a controller and my aim is terrible, i flop around trying to hit the enemies and missing all over the place, starting fires and releasing goo pits.
