It's not like my region is better either. Most games are set at direct 1:1 conversion with US$ nowadays.

There's only a couple of good guys left who may also abandon us anytime.
yeah, it fucking sucks ... corporate greed knows no bounds

I was about to take the piss and say £140 for an Excel spreadsheet about lorries?! And it's GOTY!?
...When i realised that i have both COMANO & CMO and DLCs with Tacview which is essentially Google Earth with a Military Boats and Planes database bolted on and i should keep my cakehole shut.

Logistical 3 sounded great prior to launch and then i looked at it then looked at CMO in my library and thought, no. One of these types of thing is enough.
LOL, yeah I hear you.

Just an FYI, Logistical 3: Earth is only £29 with all future DLC free to base-game owners. I guess the solo dev went a little ham with DLC modules for L1 & L2 and decided to just release a single platform with L3:E where the entire Earth map is all under a single umbrella in the base game. He's constantly updating the game as he expands the puzzles (countries) across the globe.

It's a really fly game if you're into logistics/puzzle games. Game engine is a little crusty but it's fine once you get used to its nuances. It's from a solo dev and it sports a ton of heart.

There's also a beefy-ass demo on the store page with easily a dozen hours of content that will carry your save over if you choose to buy.

Def a unique offering.

Side note, Slitherine/Matrix are fast becoming my fav publishers of late. Have CMO wishlisted for when my schedule opens up a bit more. Hope to one day have a big enough brain to take on War in the East 2.

After playing through XCOM: Enemy Unknown, XCOM2: War of the Chosen, and XCOM: Chimera Squad from January-March this year, I look at this game and...I just can't get into the anime presentation even if it's....XCOM.
Don't let the presentation fool you. It may look anime but it has zero gross tropes. It's actually from a newcomer dev out of S. Korea.

Posted some thoughts on it here.

The game is XCOM on steroids but also so much more. It also has a fully fleshed out FF:TA job system as well as Pokemon trainer elements.

Pretty amazing value (content per dollar) at the price-point.

It's a good remaster, at least they actually painted over the sprites to make them high res rather than just add some shitty filter you can't disable.

The characters kinda look like Camelot's sprites-from-3D-renders look they used to do back in the day rather than resemble the originals exactly.

ah yes, the signature bamco regional pricing:
To be honest they are releasing it at the normal price that pc/console games launch at in my country, 10 years ago we were paying 60$ per game (still pay that for over 70% of new games), every now and again I see the good regional pricing that makes me think "why are they allowing me to buy a game at half price". So yeah this isn't like F1 where I have to pay more than America, and would be more worked up about.

true - some of those bumps aren't too bad ... but some are beyond ridiculous .... 200-500% more than they should be paying ... i wouldn't call that reasonable :p

I think it's an odd case of a job well done for a remaster, but also one where remastering was maybe not the best idea to begin with.
At least it looks fine. The characters don't fit quite as well as before, but it's not ugly, just different.
You put my thoughts into much better words.

Every time I see these remasters that look "weird" I feel vindicated for the fact that I still keep a very old Sony Triniton CRT monitor over here. Despite the fact that I never use it and it is taking (a lot of) space. Not that I can move it these without seriously destroying my back...

Anyway I was deciding whether to spend on Replicant or RE8 and I think I'll go with the latter, I'm more curious about it since I already know Nier story
Also
How long is RE7 ? Is the prologue interesting to play ?

Almost 60% CP2077 sales on PC

They must be glad the PC version was a decent 1.0 release at launch and didn't have too much issues. Otherwise it would have been catastrophic for them.

With how big PC gaming has gotten...I wouldn't be surprised if they make Witcher 4 exclusive to just PC at launch. And then work the port down to consoles over time so they don't crunch themselves to near failure again.

I willed this KT Sale into existence. Last night I was thinking how KT is fucking stingy with their games.
Only almost been a year until the last time the Atelier games on sale. And it's worse then their historical lows, at least for the Arland trilogy.
Fucking hell, I just want to play some Atelier games without feeling robbed, is that so much to ask for?
Look at this bullshit price history

I missed the last "decent" sale last year in March by just a week or so and have been waiting for over a fucking year now for the games to just reach that same price point - which isn't even a steal, it's still comparatively expensive to all the other stuff I want.
I'm dangerously close to just writing off the Atelier series entirely and stop bothering at this point.

About 15 hours in my playthrough I think (not counting DLCs), prologue was just a demo and you can go with the game itself directly
Wasn’t The beginning hour some exclusive content ?

One day I'll get irritated enough with the lack of sales on PC to plug my PS3 back in and play the older ones that I own but never played there.
