yeah, it fucking sucks ... corporate greed knows no boundsIt's not like my region is better either. Most games are set at direct 1:1 conversion with US$ nowadays.
There's only a couple of good guys left who may also abandon us anytime.
LOL, yeah I hear you.I was about to take the piss and say £140 for an Excel spreadsheet about lorries?! And it's GOTY!?
...When i realised that i have both COMANO & CMO and DLCs with Tacview which is essentially Google Earth with a Military Boats and Planes database bolted on and i should keep my cakehole shut.
Logistical 3 sounded great prior to launch and then i looked at it then looked at CMO in my library and thought, no. One of these types of thing is enough.
Don't let the presentation fool you. It may look anime but it has zero gross tropes. It's actually from a newcomer dev out of S. Korea. After playing through XCOM: Enemy Unknown, XCOM2: War of the Chosen, and XCOM: Chimera Squad from January-March this year, I look at this game and...I just can't get into the anime presentation even if it's....XCOM.
Metacouncil and animeSquare Enix and terrible ports with terrible pricing, name a more iconic duo
Guess I'll just stick with emulating Dad Nier and hope this gets fixed in the future. So uhhh... About that Replicant PC port.
Nier Replicant review - Nier-ly great
A quirky and earnest story undercut by a haphazard PC portwww.pcgamesn.com
Pixels+crt shader are a favourite combo of mine, so on that I agree.
Call me crazy but the orignal pixels with some good CRT shaders look much better.
Metacouncil and anime
To be honest they are releasing it at the normal price that pc/console games launch at in my country, 10 years ago we were paying 60$ per game (still pay that for over 70% of new games), every now and again I see the good regional pricing that makes me think "why are they allowing me to buy a game at half price". So yeah this isn't like F1 where I have to pay more than America, and would be more worked up about.ah yes, the signature bamco regional pricing:
true - some of those bumps aren't too bad ... but some are beyond ridiculous .... 200-500% more than they should be paying ... i wouldn't call that reasonableTo be honest they are releasing it at the normal price that pc/console games launch at in my country, 10 years ago we were paying 60$ per game (still pay that for over 70% of new games), every now and again I see the good regional pricing that makes me think "why are they allowing me to buy a game at half price". I think it's an odd case of a job well done for a remaster, but also one where remastering was maybe not the best idea to begin with.

You put my thoughts into much better words.I think it's an odd case of a job well done for a remaster, but also one where remastering was maybe not the best idea to begin with.
At least it looks fine. The characters don't fit quite as well as before, but it's not ugly, just different.
CRT shaders will never do it for me, I need the real thing to truly appreciate old pixel art.

I will always defend Legacy of Darkness. That game is genuinely good.
Don't look at the Steam homepage for the next few days. Trust me, it's for the best.
How long is RE7 ? Is the prologue interesting to play ?Anyway I was deciding whether to spend on Replicant or RE8 and I think I'll go with the latter, I'm more curious about it since I already know Nier story
Also
I know a friend who played it on base PS4 and absolutely loved it.
more like top 9 I noticed i cut off OUTRIDERS...What a top 10
Only almost been a year until the last time the Atelier games on sale. And it's worse then their historical lows, at least for the Arland trilogy.I willed this KT Sale into existence. Last night I was thinking how KT is fucking stingy with their games.
Steam, truly the refined weeb's choiceToo much anime on top 10. Moving to EGS.
About 15 hours in my playthrough I think (not counting DLCs), prologue was just a demo and you can go with the game itself directlyHow long is RE7 ? Is the prologue interesting to play ?
"So this is how regional pricing dies... with thunderous applause"Holy shit! The game is almost 5 months away
How much is it in your store?"So this is how regional pricing dies... with thunderous applause"
Almost twice as much as Namco was charging for 60 USD games a year ago.How much is it in your store?
Fucking hell thats a lot!Almost twice as much as Namco was charging for 60 USD games a year ago.
It's even more expensive than a game that they put up for preorder a month ago (Scarlet Nexus)Fucking hell thats a lot!
Wasn’t The beginning hour some exclusive content ?About 15 hours in my playthrough I think (not counting DLCs), prologue was just a demo and you can go with the game itself directly
well with the regional pricing they did for that game - they only need to sell like 2 copies in each of the poor countries to get to the top sellers"So this is how regional pricing dies... with thunderous applause"
Yes but it's basically a segment present in the final game with slight differences, nothing to miss outWasn’t The beginning hour some exclusive content ?
One day I'll get irritated enough with the lack of sales on PC to plug my PS3 back in and play the older ones that I own but never played there.Only almost been a year until the last time the Atelier games on sale. And it's worse then their historical lows, at least for the Arland trilogy.
Fucking hell, I just want to play some Atelier games without feeling robbed, is that so much to ask for?
Holy shit! The game is almost 5 months away
