The game's final English title is still to-be-determined, but its Japanese title is Monster wo Taoshite Tsuyoi Ken ya Yoroi wo Te ni Shinasai. Yuusha Tai ga Maou wo Taosu Sono Hi wo Shinjiteimasu, which literally translates to Defeat Monsters to Get Strong Swords and Armor. We Believe in the Day the Heroes will Defeat the Demon Lord :coffee-blob:

How many will arrive in the hands of consumers instead of farmers is the question here.

At least here in Germany many retailers have stock. At inflated prices ofc but those have actually been going down for the last couple of weeks and we're even getting a few special offers with significant discounts now. Still not where we would be without miners, scalpers and limited supply but if the trend continues and Intel delivers something good 2022 could end up quite alright.

From my personal experience, evenly smearing it over the surface of the CPU works best. I tried different methods before, like an X mark or a dot in the middle, but the results were always slightly worse than covering the surface of the CPU with the thermal paste by hand. YMMV of course.
Please don't do this, it can easily leave air bubbles that can cause issues.

You do not need a lot of thermal paste, pea size just in the center. Then gets spread when the heatsink is attached.

I only really started paying attention to the application when I started doing it at work for physical servers. Since temperature is monitored extremely closely, and the thermal paste application does have an effect.

It's your own fault for having such an exotic filesystem

I also wonder now what file system Lashley has (or what Windows thinks it is)...since Windows doesnt really support anything outside of NTFS and FAT/exFAT anyway ...and I guess ext4 via WSL2

What file systems are out there now???????

theres plenty :) –> Comparison of file systems - Wikipedia

People talking about that dolphin boss fight (which i genuinely barely remembered) on SMT Soul Hackers but conveniently forget Mowis ambushing the player at the park and then fighting him at the Leon's Auto Part factory with godfuckingdamned Urban Terror roaming around waiting to wipe out your party

Those two goddamn entities made me put down Soul Hackers for good holy shit both 'em hit like mack truckUrban Terror is why the run from battle button is there AND HE CAN'T BE RECRUITED ;LKFD;ls;lkf;slkfl;skf;lks;ldfks;ldfk;lskf;lskf;lskf;lskf;lsfk;lsdfk;lsdfk;lsfk MOTHERFUCKER!

I eagerly await ragequitting whatever this interpretation of Soul Hackers on PC or Switch will be

Didn't know what to play this week while waiting for Elden Ring so I decided to jump into Destiny 2 and play Forsaken before it gets vaulted.

Not gonna lie it was a pretty good 6-7hr campaign. Some good boss fights and mini boss fights. There is bounties too. The final boss was a lot of fun. Overall enjoyed it. The story was stupid but wtvr.

I don't know why they have to gut it. I don't see how this is so intrusive to the current meta or wtvr. Why its so hard to just leave that shore icon and let people play in the future. Let people download free dlc if you don't want it in main game for wtvr reason. The way they hid the main campaign before was completely fine imo. The devs are just spitting on their own content. So now I guess the main campaign has long been vaulted along with everything released shortly after launch. And all the season content + Forsaken is about to get vaulted too. A lot of good singleplayer content gone over the years. Its some real slimey online game design. Shame on Bungie

Anyways it is free for a few more days until 22nd so if you are bored check it out. It was a fun 8/10.

Also I forgot to mention but They Always Run has a bullshit chase sequence that instafail if you don't exactly do what the devs tell you to do

Which is why I installed it and also the controls for the third arm was unwieldy

As far as I recall, Omni has never directly leaked anything unannounced so I don't know why he would start now with BB.
:shrugblob:

Some games have free soundtracks but they aren't automatically added to your library, is there a way to see which games in ones library might have free soundtracks to claim?

That will show you all free soundtracks but I think you need to be part of this steam labs experiment for the price stuff to work. Steam Blog - Search Updates - Steam News

No way to narrow it down to just for games you own as far as I can see though, but it doesn't matter since you can still grab the free shit if you want. :D
The drawback is that it's filtering to the new soundtrack type. So if there are older soundtracks that are marked as DLC and were never converted to the new soundtrack type, it won't show those.

Honestly kinda disappointed with CP2077 1.5 patch. After 6 months i expected more.
tbh i am just dissapointed the focused too much on the gta-ish nonsense i guess to appease the reddit trolls ..... i hoped they would go improve and epand on stuff the game is strong in ... instead of sandbox whack
- but well i know i am kinda alone in this :-(

Now that’s a blast from the past. I remember Mcpixel being in the first batch of Steam Greenlight games. Pretty fun to look back at now:
  • Black Mesa
  • Cry of Fear
  • Dream
  • Heroes & Generals
  • Kenshi
  • McPixel
  • No More Room in Hell
  • Project Zomboid
  • Routine
  • Towns
Pretty solid list. Project Zomboid still going strong and probably will for another 10 years. Routine will never see the light of day though :(

There was this really promising and stylish looking horror game among them too. Had this cool cyan and magenta colored logo or something. Does anyone remember the name? I‘m not certain that ever came out either.

Edit: lol, it was Routine.

Out of the ten original Greenlight games, only one game never got a full release. Another game got Mostly negative reviews

I bought KOF XV. Don't see people talking about it much. I think it's good. Yeah the modes are pretty disappointing and minimal, but I just like to spar. If you found KOF XIV fun you'll probably find this one fun too.

It has a ray tracing setting which maybe only slightly affects the background in one stage??? I can run it 4K max settings at max framerate (60) with nice framepacing on gsync and that uses about 30% of my 3080. Overall I like the visuals.

PSA: Lost Ark

The EU West servers are online. Things to know:

- crystal aura is accountwide, so you will have crystal aura on the new region
- you get 15 days crystal aura on the third day for the separate EU West login event, as crystal aura is serverwide, this will count to your time on your main region/server
- you also get 500 crystal on one of the days of the login event, which nets you nearly another 30 days crystal aura (I think 520 crystal for 30 days, and you get 10 crystal for the first quest you do and another ten a bit later)

Northern Journey looks really interesting, but I had to refund it because the field of view is set way too high (120 I believe). It can't be adjusted, and apparently the developer mentioned it would be difficult to allow that option with the way he designed it. This may not be an issue for some people, but I can't stand the severe warped distortion of moving your camera.

You can also get crystal meth..
ah, you mean aura. nevermind.

Hmmm... Might pick up Forbidden West, can get it cheaper buy picking it up in the US PSN Store.

Problem is Warhammer 3, Outriders (next up for my backlog) and Elden Ring.

Didn't they revealed the existece of Sekiro and ER prior to official announcement?
Not that I'm aware of. All I remember from Sekiro is that when the first Shadows Die Twice teaser was shown and everyone was speculating, Omni was there constantly saying that it isn't Bloodborne. That's when he got verified too, unless I'm completely misremembering.
