I don't think it's too bad, it's just a super niche product (and games selection could be better, not even Battle Circuit in there, it seems they chose more historical value stuff like Final Fight - to me it's not a great game these days - rather than the best of the genre that still hold up, though they also have cool games like Armored Warriors in there which I don't think have much historical value but are certainly cool and hold up better). Not many people want a couch-length (maybe exaggerating here a bit :p ) 2 player arcade stick to play with friends on the LR TV. But if the sticks are decent quality the price isn't that bad objectively. You need around 100 for a real solid one player arcade stick these days. This has two plus whatever innards to emulate the games with. Of course it damn better have impeccable emulation quality at that price but yeah, it's not outrageous and probly a collector's item too. It's just not for me or most of you. Like said, I'd rather have something icade sized even if it's 1 player. Maybe give them link cable capability for people who want multiplayer that badly :P

I'm sure they know how crazy it is for most people and don't expect it to sell like a SNES mini :p

This is probably the one you want

Honest to god I've wanted this game PSI-OPS on Steam for so damn long😢

I don't think I've played GameCube Defender since 2005. I have a feeling it's not nearly as good as my memories tell me, but man I loved it back then. Wouldn't mind seeing someone update those visuals and slap ports to current platforms.

It's sad that the thing that made JaseC leave was ultimately a joke, but I guess it just shows how toxic other places have become that it's getting hard to tell when people are serious.
Hope Jase can cool off now, and I hope he could return one day.

i was just talking about it being rather ugly :p lol
I am talking about this mate :v
Which is releasing tomorrow

I was recently taking a look at some SHMUPs, and just found out that Steam has a Darius game! Has anyone here played it?

It's good, I got it after getting an ultrawide monitor but as it turns out half the game is made for 16:9 monitors and only the arcade part is wider so that was a bummer but other than that it's a great game with tons of stuff to do in it. There's a crapton of dlc too with ships from other games and a bunch more levels.

Did they say anything about other titles included in the Castlevania collection? The website won't go past the age check for me, for some reason.

Personally, I find it, easily, the best shmup available on Steam.

If you enjoy shmups of the "classic" variety (not bullet hell), you'll probably love this.
The game has a ridiculous amount of content to keep you busy.

Basically, this release includes:

-an arcade perfect port of DARIUSBURST: Another Chronicle EX, playable by up to 4 players in it's original 32:9 aspect ratio, which includes the Original Mode (featuring the stages from the original DARIUSBURST: Another Chronicle arcade), the Original EX Mode (featuring 12 new stages from the EX version of the arcade), as well as the Chronicle Mode, featuring 3000+ stages and variations, which you work to unlock with other online users on one of the game's virtual arcade cabinets.

-a brand new, single player mode, CS Mode, playable in a more desktop friendly 16:9 aspect ratio, which tells the story of the series in 200+ stages, with plenty of references to events, and music tracks, from past entries in the series.

I mostly play the CS Mode, and it's a blast. This mode has tracks from pretty much all games in the series. I love Zuntata's soundtracks, and I can't tell you how much I enjoy shooting things while listening to their kickass music. :giggle:
The first time I got to a stage and got Olga Breeze (from Darius II), or FAKE (from Darius Gaiden), I nearly fell off my chair. :p

The DLCs just add even more "fan service" to the game. No, I don't mean of the semi-nude anime girl variety, I mean even more ships, stages and music, from other classic titles like Night Striker, Metal Black, RayForce, and more.

And to those who keep posting that Freedom track, I'll just say it: I actually like the track. :D
It works well in-game.

I'm open to bribes myself. :grimacing-face:

Is there a B/S/T thread here? That’s all I’d miss from the other place.
not yet, no ... i guess no one made one because MC isn't all that active ....

but if you want to make one - go ahead :)
Yeah, I brought this up last year. It would be great to have a topic for this. :)
I'm even willing to contribute to the purchase of the needed add-ons for a feedback system.

Wouldn't Steamtrades.com be enough for feedback system?
And also I think that most of us are trustworthy traders :D

Did a quick google search and found an addon for feedback system that costs 50 euro.

feel free to make one then :) would be awesome ... hope others agree too :D
Since English isn't my main language, and since I suck at making pretty threads (just check any of my previous attempts :grimacing-face:), it's probably best if someone else makes one.

yeah, that's exactly the one we all wanted to use in here ... we just didn't have the money for it :p

Start a pool so that people who wants to donate for a feedback system can do so :)

Can't we copy and paste Era's BST thread?

Edit: Oh, well I can create one. What rules do we want in the BST thread?

Rules so far

1. Be a nice trader. Don't be a douchebag
2. Don't sell illegal stuff
3. Only post trade listing. No discussions in this thread
4. Set prices on all your listings.
5. Don't spam your listings
6. No giveaways, we have a separate thread for that.
7. Remove sold items

On mobile there isn't a go to newest post button for me.

I have the one where you it goes to lay stopped browsing, but if there are a lot of posts I rather just go to latest.

Have you guys tested the Vulkan No Man Sky patch yet?
It was amazing for me performance wise (1080 Ti), it stabilized all the performance problems I had. Mostly because Gsync finally works correctly with the game

yeah, i know :( unfortunately that would have to be a custom-made addon ... which would be VERY not-cheap (for what it's doing) ... afaik xenforo addon devs usually charge something like $60-80 per hour of work

i mean - it can be done, obviously ... donation campaign for that thing specifically can be added if you want ... but it probably won't get the money needed for a loooooooooong time

I wonder why they bundled their game so soon.

Btw, do we want group buy in the BST thread? I myself cannot organize one
I've tweeted to them about it. I think they intended for OFDP 1 to be in the bundle, but put 2 in by mistake?

Also dude you can move your avatar up and down while editting it.

Go to sleep a little bit.... wake up to a .... imprudent admin post and a ban wave on Era. That's what I get for trying to get some rest. I miss all the drama.
I don’t know if it’s a mistake or not, but One Finger Death Punch 2 is already bundled in the new Indie Gala bundle.

Ahmm.. okay... I'm having a lot of fun with the game but that's not a good way to make me feel good about purchasing day 1 :p

;)

Regarding the mentioned add-on, and a few other add-ons that are needed for the forums, how about we make a raffle to try to gather the necessary funds?

I would gladly donate steam keys from the Humble monthly bundle or similar bundles (and hopefully a few others would as well), and everyone who chipped in a $1 or two to this fund would be entered to the raffle.
