PoE1 is still one of my absolute favourite games of the past decade, but I'd have a hard time arguing that it's for everyone.

Personally, I actively put very significant effort into understanding what the main quest is in any RPG so that I can take special care not to do it until I have no other choice. But I do realize that not everyone enjoys playing games that way.
I got the game breaking progression stopping bug in that big city..I forgot what exactly and where but somethign was suppose to happen that progresses the story..I spent ten hours trying to do something so I googled...yeah turns out there is a bug >.>

I didn't play POE1 until much later so surprised it still even existed.

I contacted two sellers yesterday on reddit minutes after they posted threads about Starfield AMD codes expressing my interest. One never answered, other responded 12h later saying he sold it XD I guess universe is telling me to skip it XD

On the other hand, I liked the story and dialogs from the hours I played. I also liked most of the combat, although it was sometimes difficult to see what's going on. I guess keeping an eye on the combat log is a must in this game.
I finished the game on easy. This is strictly a personal opinion and I fully respect those who feel differently, but in my opinion the Real-Time-with-Pause combat system is not a good system and it's not worth it to try and engage with it any more than absolutely necessary. So my recommendation is to just put the game on easy.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk looks cool, but watching the reviews, the graffiti flashing it's too much for me to handle, even in video reviews.

And looks like there's not an option to turn it off either.
Modders have already started releasing content for the game, it probably won't be long before that is addressed. Keep an eye out for it.

The game is incredible btw.

I'm really impressed with this monitor review:

Iirc, backlight bleeding is the most significant drawback of IPS monitors and this model doesn't seem to have any.

I'm not familiar with this YouTube channel tho. Anyone knows if it's trustworthy?

If my memory doesn't fail me, it's absolutely not the main quest @Geoforce (can't we ping anymore ?) is talking about, and I fell for the same hurdle.
Look, I'm absolutely not advocating for big fucking signs that tell you were to go, be it real or metaphorical, but I remember that moment as a weakly telegraphed difficulty spike.
You get the quest very early on, and I don't remember how many you have at that moment but I suppose they are not millions. You do the quest, cause why not, and everything is easy until the very last encounter where the Lord of the castle walks all over you. At no point the context suggested that it was a bad idea to do the quest until the very last moment, it's what I have a slight issue with.
Now once you know it's there you can totally do other things to gain XP and, most importantly gather a complete team, and I will gladly admit that one could say that you are storming a castle and it's not meant to be easy, duh.
Still this early sub quest is super easy and logical to follow, until it's not.

Look Yu Play, I'm in no rush, but if you could send me my fucking Starfield key, it would be appreciated.
On the other hand, all the ones that have received theirs had bought it from an official retailer, so yeah, no big surprise.

Some coworkers at my place are big fans of Bethesda and we talk about our excitement towards Starfield everyday.

Man I can't take it anymore. Give me that game right now.
Same, feels like they speak everyday about it. They don't play games much so it's weird to hear them talk about a game.

Looks absolutely gorgeous, also looks like it is two years away.

It still hasn't really gone up for me that I can:

  • That I can play my games modded on the go (already installed SMAPI in Stardew Valley, Slay the Spire mod Downfall)
  • That I don't have to rebuy my games for the go anymore
  • That I can play all these indies, A and AA games that are not available elsewhere on the go
  • That I can continue playing my games due to the Steam cloud on the go.

Fair warning, backlight bleed is unit dependant, not panel dependant.
Meaning you can have several models of same monitor from same batch and each can have various levels of backlight bleed.
(Source: My adventures with a non-gaming 24" Dell monitor that had no backlight bleed but one stuck pixel. I replaced it for another one on warranty and got one with no stuck/dead pixels but horrendous levels of backlight bleed).

I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed with my experience with AMD equipment. Everything seems to have it's own quirks that I never experienced with Intel / Nvidia. I mean it works fine but between games just refusing to work properly, having to wait a month for each driver release (Nvidia releases a driver everytime someone at the office farts) which may break some other thing that was working perfectly, I'm not sure if I would buy AMD again.

What? I literally bought part 3 last month. It's sad how they keep releasing a new game every year with minor improvements.
I'd say it's contrast ratio, or lack thereof.
(Also not familiar with that channel, so I can't help you there)
Thanks for the warning. Does the HDR 600 rating indicate a decent contrast between light and dark, or is it only an indication for maximum brightness? I mostly play in the evening...

Iirc, you're more of a fan of VA panels, right? This one has 10-bit colors, high contrast and low response time:

While it has been over a decade since I had AMD GPU, even longer for CPU, my experiences deeply cemented my Intel/Nvidia for PCs.

I dropped AMD 10 years ago or something because of similar experiences and never looked back.
Unless somehow AMD prices end up being like half the price of Nvida I'm never going back.

Hopefully it supports arbitrary resolutions on PC but if not then at least 1080p60fps is the bare minimum I can live with. Any lower and I'd feel forced to refund. Now that footage of the codec call with the removed voiced lines that mention the select button, that's bugging the hell out of me. I'd rather have the voiced line intact with an incorrect button name than have codec calls awkwardly go silent for random lines...

Besides the whole resolution debacle apparently, Konami actually put some effort into the sheer amount of content this collection has. The historical footage that they couldn't put in the collection they recreated for this collection, they also give the option to select from different kinds of version of each game depending on region (meaning that you can play MGS1 western version and MGS1 Integral version). They've also throw the hint of implementing KBM support in the future. I'm actually kind of impressed.
