The hardest part of dealing with mihoyo games, especially if you have adhd or adhd-like symptoms, is their writing style. They will make you mash through 50+ lines of the driest most mundane dialogue quite often and their lore books are like 5 pages long with the amount of scrolling down you do on them. Even the voiced dialogue parts are hard to pay attention to because they often don't say anything interesting and I find myself setting it to auto play and looking over at my PC while they yammer on about tax forms or some dull shit like that.
Last night in the new star rail area I turned in a side quest and while I didn't count I swear I had to mash through almost 100 lines of dialogue. It went on FOREVER while I was trying to just finish that last thing before going to bed.
edit: The timing on this couldn't be any better. I started the new event in genshin and I'm currently sitting through a 5+ minute voiced scene about...making kites. I'm going to go insane.
