Library, it's a library.
And a library needs a lot of things in it, how else would you choose what to play depending on your mood
True, but I don't want my library to get out of control, ya know? I've seen some users have it in the 1000s and I can't comprehend that. Gotta at least finish a decent amount of them before having 100 games in my steam library.

Don't worry, you're doing just great. Buying games is part of the fun.
I said this before in the previous thread and I say it again:

Buying games is more fun than playing them :D

Buying games is fun except for my wallet and I really hope I don't start buying games just for the sake of it, lol

Any recommendations for Golden Week sale? Preferably on a cheaper side of the spectrum.
All around or lower than €5:
Binary Domain, Vanquish, Bayonetta, If My Heart Had Wings, Chrono Trigger (7,50 but a solid price still for a good version of CT), D4 Dark Dreams Don't Die, La Mulana, D&D Chronicles of Mystara, Momodora Reverie under the Moonlight, An Octave Higher, Trillion: God of Destruction, and Ikaruga. Many of the Ys games are also really cheap now, if that's your kind of thing.

Not part of Golden Week but on sale and cheap:
The Swapper, Spec Ops The Line, Shadowrun Dragon Fall,Castle of Illusion, Ducktales Remastered, Dropsy.

That's what happens when lashman buys all prominent members of community.
I need muh VN thread though, and if I start one here, it'll most probably go the way of the puzzle game thread. :negative-blob:
I'll post more than once, at least!

Saw Avengers: End Game yesterday, and now I need some more Marvel games in my life.

Maybe I should continue my playthrough of Lego Avengers, or maybe start my playthrough of Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2.... Decisions, decisions!

Half Minute Hero: The Second Coming is bundled with the first one. I'm not sure if it works the other way around too, but they're the same price so just get The Second Coming anyway:

I mean, those are the only legal options you have. Alternatively, if you still have discs with Sega's Iron Man (it's godawful), Deadpool (I think there're still keys around), MUA or X-Men games, they're better representations of Marvel Universe.

yeah, i love those games SO MUCH ... and the theme is a musical masterpiece!

I installed it last week and fired it up just to listen to the intro theme. Also because it's a masterpiece and I need to replay it yet again soon :steam_pig_grinning:
I'm a simple man. I see Randy Pitchford popping a vein, I click retweet.
If that's all it take, they should just report the games they don't like, and even then games with awful/harmful content is getting removed daily.

People are either lazy by wanting others to do the work for them or are just shitposting at this point.

And I own the first one already...humm. This is cool and all but for one as I that own the first one a couple more NTD off the top would have been nice as I own the first one >.>

I looked at the MUA games back when they were available on Steam, but they really didn't seem that... fun...

They're decent Diablo-clones with cool powers and huge roster of characters. But if loot based hack & slash isn't your thing, then I can see why you won't like it.
Looks like everyone is picking up 428 because of the sale. I might actually have to give this game a shot myself someday.
It's among the best VNs out there and certainly has one of the best (if not the best) translation in the genre. If average VN reads like a fanfic from Wattpad, 428 is more akin to professional writer in a pulp magazine. Plus, avoiding bad ends is a lot of fun.

See, that's the kind of Japanese weirdness we can all get behind. Wholesome fun vs perverted anime filth corrupting us all.

It was telling that the usual folks captured a thread about Heaven's Fault only being available on Steam because it didn't get through curation elsewhere to blabber about Nazis and toxic games and how we need curation. Instead of being happy HF is getting sold on a big store and supporting it by buying and talking about it. Reason being that they don't care about the games themselves, they're not interested in doing something positive that matters, they just want to scream about the same stuff 24/7.

I have a bunch of stuff I'm interested in but I'm waiting tomorrow just to make sure nothing is in the monthly and avoid unnecessary refunds:

I'm also waiting for my first arcade stick to be delivered and I'd like to pick up some games to test it out:

Not sure which of these I'll end up buying but they all look fairly good deals.

I already bought the Zero Escape trilogy.

I got Shibuya Scramble because of the positive impressions here. Hope it turns out great.

Yeah, but do they even have a story mode? I have UMvC 3 on Vita and all I remember is Galactus fighting Phoenix Wright.
Infinite has a story mode but it's kinda mixed. NRS games are probably the best in the story mode department.

NeuralProxy If you want fighting games, there's also Skullgirls and Under Night which are both good, so is Koihime and like Tizoc
said, get GG Rev 2 since it's the latest version.

Get the Guilty Gear Revelator + Rev2 + All DLC Characters Bundle. Rev2 is essential.

I don't know what I'll play until Kiwami 2 releases, maybe a bit of Cities Skyline? I got a itch to play it again after watching some well planned city on YT.

Yeah, Diablo games have never really clicked (badum-tss) with me.
I wonder if that old X360 Captain America game is good, it really flew under the radar here, but I've heard it's a bit like the Arkham games. That sounds quite cool. Just for fun, I checked if it was purchasable online, and it is, but it costs like €70.......

Never played it, but I recall reading on one of the forums that some people prefered it to Arkham City at the time, Not sure about dropping 70 euro though.

This fancy new game Steam redistributable something, I've been waiting patiently for it to disappear from library and let's say after 2 weeks (?) about time to get officially triggered.

I'm still going through my Assassin's Creed binge, and yesterday I started Rogue. Wonder how long until I get tired of them; in the last 2 months I played every game between 1 and 4 except for 2, which I had already finished. Those tailing missions are the worst by far, and I wouldn't be sad if they never appeared again. Also, it's funny how similar Rogue is to 4: same menus, same UI, same graphics, same controls (except for a few details that are worse, like mapping the spyglass to d-pad up or changing the weapons positions to something more uncomfortable) and same modern day stuff. It looks more like an expansion pack than a brand new game. It also has some stuff from 3, such as part of the setting, so it feels as a mix of both games. Kinda like how Revelations was a sequel to both 1 and Brotherhood. To me it makes sense: just like Rev closed the Ezio trilogy and Altaïr's game, this one closes the Kenway era (although none of them have appeared in Rogue yet, and I don't know if they will).

Think I'll play the China Chronicles game once I'm done with this, and then the other two after every main game. Otherwise I'd have to play all 3 in a row after Syndicate, and I don't know if they'll get boring or whatever. Of course, I could always play something else in between, but I have this momentum going with the series and I don't wanna waste it.

Plague Tale is such a good looking game.

It's also clear that they're inspired by the modern Naughty Dogs games.
Let's hope that they're not too inspired from Naughty Dogs, I don't like to actually play their games.
However, from what I can see, A Plague Tale doesn't seem to have the horrible cover-shoot + spawn enemies everywhere system, so it should already be a better game.

Yeah, combat is vastly different. I was talking about the story telling, linear exploration, and the dynamic duo focus.
