I'm still going through my Assassin's Creed binge, and yesterday I started Rogue. Wonder how long until I get tired of them; in the last 2 months I played every game between 1 and 4 except for 2, which I had already finished. Those tailing missions are the worst by far, and I wouldn't be sad if they never appeared again. Also, it's funny how similar Rogue is to 4: same menus, same UI, same graphics, same controls (except for a few details that are worse, like mapping the spyglass to d-pad up or changing the weapons positions to something more uncomfortable) and same modern day stuff. It looks more like an expansion pack than a brand new game. It also has some stuff from 3, such as part of the setting, so it feels as a mix of both games. Kinda like how Revelations was a sequel to both 1 and Brotherhood. To me it makes sense: just like Rev closed the Ezio trilogy and Altaïr's game, this one closes the Kenway era (although none of them have appeared in Rogue yet, and I don't know if they will).
Think I'll play the China Chronicles game once I'm done with this, and then the other two after every main game. Otherwise I'd have to play all 3 in a row after Syndicate, and I don't know if they'll get boring or whatever. Of course, I could always play something else in between, but I have this momentum going with the series and I don't wanna waste it.
