I mean, are we sure that character isn't biologically male?
That's what some people were saying and I know it's an anime and all I was wondering what the idea behind the antlers were.

not in case of the caribous, in their case even the female grow antlers
So what your saying Is if this is how big a female's antlers are in the anime. One can only image what the horrors of a males antlers are in said anime. In North America one of the scariest/deadliest animals is the Elk given its shear size and also because of how big it's antlers are. (The other being the Polar Bear and part of that is how far those things will chance you down, they will chase you down for miles/km)

I'm not a big fan of Hoyoverse but I will admit that the ZZZ game "asthetic" looks pretty cool. Part of it is the character designs (clothes) but also with how they make it a point to show how it's "fast" when they show ads for it, the characters are moving around fast. This game was designed with a high fps/very fast fluid motion in mind. Which is rather rare in games. Either the game just happens to look like that when you play it on a PC but the way they are showing it makes it looks like that's a design choice.

It is fast, fluid, and it does look and sound good even on mobile where it is well optimized, and it has a lot of options on PC.
The amount of polish the game got is impressive (not like they don't have the means at this point), and it clearly shows in the animations especially: every character has a unique model unlike their other games, and they all got their own movement and attack style with some crazy skill animations that manage to not be too long as to get in the way.

For me the problem is more that... all those cools things, you do maybe 20% of the time, as the game spends a lot of time on the TV minigame that acts as exploration and puzzle part (and it falls flat and really distract from some modes like the roguelite - what's the point of moving a TV in a 2D corridor instead of your usual characters in a 3D corridor like Honkai Star Rail did? They already have the 3D levels!), and even more time in the city that is covered in loading screens for no reason doing menial tasks and dialogue with very little of it being voice acted...

I am jealous of people who are playing ZZZ. Where is Girls Frontline 2 global :sleepy-face:

Personally I can't wait for the modern gamers to dive into GFL. I wonder how people will perceive the game other than just saying it is horny.

Finished pokemon violet, i liked the fact that you get 3 different stories and you can choose the order to approach the gyms, it's also nice that the poster pokemon of the game is with you since the start and it's useful as it gives a nice feeling that pokemon is your pal, would be nice if you could actually USE the pokemon from the start though.
Technically the game is a mess it kills my eyes if played on portable mode, docked is still a mess but doesn't kill my eyes on a tiny monitor..

Today I couldn't launch a gamepass PC game for some unknown reason. It would try for about 60 seconds then give me an error. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and still no luck but then I noticed in task manager it was opening the ea background services process which is from the ea app for...some reason, since this wasn't an ea game or had any known ties to them afaik. So since I was done with my dragon age replay I decided to uninstall that useless ea app and lo and behold the game now launched because of course 2 broken pieces of malware joined forces against me.

Next time someone says just another launcher they should be forced to use nothing but the xbox app for a year with 0 help when something goes wrong.

Go to the xbox settings > extensions and disable all of them.

Seems so simple but I gain a much more appreciation of steam handling the launcher fuckfests if you consider the alternatives.

Took a look but it says I have no extensions that it can detect.

This is the exact reason I bought a Deck a few years back. Great investment and a marvelous little machine.
I was on a business trip (actually, two business trips that happened to fall so close to each other that I had to combine them into one) for all of last week, and I was really surprised at how well playing (online) Elden Ring on the Deck in Hotels worked out. I played about 7 hours of the DLC over three nights on the Deck, in Coop, even with the flatpack version of Mumble also running on the Deck!

Is there a chance I will enjoy Octopath Traveller 2 if the only jRPG I ever played and finished is FF15, and I love WRPGs and storydriven games in general?

I don't think it's actively being worked on right now since Valve is focusing on Deadlock, but I'd like to see their spin on a fighting game some day.

Anyway have some more Steam-chan:

Where are the lewd Momo-chan post?

Anyway.

This is now 10 years old.

I really doubt it. OT2 has a broad map, but it isn't exactly open world.

I would suggest the Xenoblade series if you're looking for a story driven JRPGs with big open world. They should be easily emulated if you want to go in that direction. They're a bit anime tropey, but it comes with the territory (2 is the worst in this regard, but 1 and 3 are much less embarrassing).

If you enjoy story-driven games, the narrative in Octopath 2 is definitely one of the highlights of the game. The individual stories can be a tad melodramatic, but if you played FF XV to completion and didn't end up hating it, chances are you will find something you like in Octopath 2.
