Y'all gotta remember that ubi discounted the newest far cry by 50% 3 weeks after it released.
Ubi games aint worth spending full price on day 1, and even if Ubi wouldn't discount their upcomi g games more than 25% 3 months later, their catalogue could be had cheaper in other methods.

allegedly Deep Silver went to Volvo looking for a better offer from them when Epic wanted to moneyhat Metro ....

They all probably go to Valve to see if they'll offer a better deal. Each one thinking that their game will finally break Valve and cause them to moneyhat them.
So apparently Epic has added Paysafecard and Amazon here, but Amazon has a 25% fee on top on the already full price, so for whatever reason, Borderlands 3 standard price is 59,99€, but buying it through Amazon puts the price to 67,13$ and yes, it goes from euro to usd.
Wtf.
Edit: Paysafecard has a 6,75% fee on top of the original price, increasing the price of let's say WWZ from 34,99€ to 37,35€

That's about how I feel too. After the changes made to Alan Wake, I've lost a lot interest in their narrative games. I mean, sure I was in high school when Max Payne first graced us with his constipated Sam Lake face, but their other games just haven't really interested me as much. Control and Quantum Break seemed to want to recapture the magic of bullet time but without all the knowing tongue in cheek humour

I actually enjoyed Quantum Break's story. The problem with that game was that it was clear they wanted to make a tv series but were forced to put some gameplay in the middle, which was poorly implemented and never fitted the overall tone of the world/plot.
Looks like Epic removed most payment methods here, of course most expensive (Paysafe) were left behind.
