Fucking hell, the 1000 monster kill in Cyberdimension Neptunia is borked, and I just caught wind of it. Stuck at 161, smh.

Yeah it's been broken for a few weeks :surrenderblob:. There a few workarounds in the forums if you want to get that achievement specifically

Anyone else got problem with uploading screenshots for several games? It seems like some works, some just don't.

In case anyone still wanted to give remedy the benefit of a doubt re EGS

I was still blaming the publisher, but it looks like I should have blamed remedy after all.

it was free

Even for a (temporarily) free game that seems like a lot.

Sad news, people, UltraUltra (team that made ECHO) has closed doors, sad to hear that such a talented team went down, ECHO was superb in my opinion, wish the best for all the affected :(

Game had a pretty cool, unique concept (except that final chapter), unfortunate they have to end like this.

It's regular numbers for a free game with card drops. Lotsa bots idling it.

Yeah, uploading screenshots has always been tricky for me too. Most of the time, it works just fine, but when it doesn't work, it wouldn't work. Sometimes I had to restart Steam to finally be able to upload a screenshot. Some other times I had to give it a rest and try another day.

Kinda confused if ECHO is still on stores, where does it's sales go to now that they're defunct? In any case, I wish the team members good luck in finding another place to work.

I like this, using Steam reviews for something positive and productive instead of endlessly bashing them, highlighting players opinions makes sense for an Early Access game like this.

please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2, please be Skylines 2!

I'm also hoping C:S2

B-Tier games need to make a come back. Like the PS1-PS2 days. Not everything has to be a big and flashy Live-Service blah blah.

In 2016, Square-Enix released two Final Fantasies one of them cost a fraction of the other, and involved way less stress and hands on. Yet it reviewed fairly well and by many long-time fans reckoning, it was the better of the two.

Also NieR: Automata. It's praises are rightfully sung to the heavens, it came on a shoestring budget, and spawned countless merch and a legion of new fans for an old-time Director who was almost lost to the shadows. (Taro.)

Tecmo, Bandai, they also seemingly make the majority of their (non-mobile) money on B-tier releases...

When will the west try to embrace this? At the moment it seems all the non-indie Western devs are chasing the live-service , constant updates, constant engagement dream... To their detriment. :face-with-cold-sweat:

and some indie devs seems to be annoyed by this and blame it on the players

I love the gall of some devs. Like it's mandatory for people to like your game, that it isn't their fault they made a bad game that nobody wants.

There are a fuckload of indie games that get released and have zero additional content patches, just fixes. HELL! from a AAA scale, look at Nier. Busted ass port that works due to fans, full price, ZERO PATCHES OR MEANINGFUL DLC AND STILL SELLS BECAUSE IT IS AN INTERESTING GAME THAT IS ALSO GOOD.

Crazy!

I get the frustrations, putting in many hours into creating something for it not to be received well. Sometimes it's bad marketing, sure, but sometimes it's also just a bad product.
