Price mistake? $1.99 is much lower than what I expected even with them mentioning in the description that it's supposed to be very very cheap!
Well, since the original game was freeware, the inexpensive price is probably correct. :)

Removed store name – Tales from the Borderlands
I really wish they'd put the remaining Telltale games on sale and/or at least give a notice before taking them down. But I guess it's understandable given what happened :(

Hopefully the removals are temporary and not permanent. I still like Telltale games regardless of their buggy engine.

Hmh stuck at Thimbleweed Park, to check solutions or not... Doesn't seem like a too hard of a game, so feels like I'm missing something very obvious.

EDIT:
Heh figured it out, didn't expect hot sauce to be the source of actual fire..XD

Haha yeah. One of these days I should play it. And Finding Paradise. And the Deus Ex sequels (and replay DE1). And Hitman 2016 (and buy 7 when it's cheap). And every Ys game after 3. And the other Falcom games. And the 3DS Paper Mario. And Ghost Trick. And Ace Attorney 6. And Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker and 5, And GTA 5. And many more I don't wanna think about because I'm already stressed as fuck from thinking of all these games I'll never play :'(

Can't wait until the shader is out for public.

Wow, that's incredible. Witcher 3 remastered looking good. I wonder how usable the shader will be on non-RTX GPUs.

Yeah you're right. I guess I'm just too used to getting nickeled and dimed all the time. They're even donating the profits to charity (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) too!

Ugh. Tales of the Borderlands and TWD Season 2 are the only ones I don't have on Steam because I bought them directly from TellTale. Whoever controls what's left of TellTale should really give all purchasers Steam keys at this point so we don't have to worry about losing our games.

Yeah, but sadly, they don't care. They already got our money, they are going down, so customer service is something that's not on their minds.

I managed to re-buy most games on Steam throughout the years, so thankfully I'm "safe", but Wallace and Gromit I only have on the TellTale Store.
I asked then for a Steam key, and asked again when the news started coming out about their demise, and sadly, I never got a reply. :(

Speaking of which, if anyone has an unredeemed Steam key for Wallace and Gromit (it was on a Humble bundle), and are willing to trade for other games, please drop me a PM. I have many games, including games no longer sold on Steam, an extra copy of Pathologic 2 (which is launching today), and more, and I would be willing to trade a whole bunch of them for a Wallace and Gromit Steam key.

Remind me, was there a rule on Steam that prevents games from going on sale multiple times over a short period of time? I think I recall something like that but I'm not sure.
From the documentation:
Discounting Rules
  • You can run a launch discount, but once your launch discount ends, you cannot run any other discounts for 2 months.

  • It is not possible to discount your product for 30 days following a price increase.

  • Discounts cannot be run within 6 weeks of your prior discount, with the exception of Steam-wide seasonal events or other specific Valve-organized sale events.

  • Discounts for seasonal sale events cannot be run within 30 days of releasing your title or 30 days from when your launch discount ends.

  • You may not change your price while a promotion is live.

  • It is not possible to discount a product 100%.

  • Custom discounts cannot last longer than two weeks, or run for shorter than 1 day.
So a cooldown period of 6 weeks for discounting, but things like the Spring Cleaning sale or Summer sale are exceptions.

Oh great... now I want a RTX card and to replay The Witcher 3...

Probably not going to happen because of the new consoles, but I wish raytracing really took off as a main form of rendering for games. I can only imagine what a modern engine build from the ground up to use it would look like on something like the 2nd or 3rd generation of RTX cards.

If a Spring Cleaning sale starts today, the discounts will probably be the same as they will be come summer, but not necessarily, right? I can't remember how it was last year.

more or less the same, yeah

although some devs might be holding back until the Summer Seal

OR some might do bigger discount during this one (since it's much shorter) and lower during the Summer Seal

Done playing Vermintide 2 with friends.
Combat is great!
It's pretty!
I love the sound design!

And it's boring as shit.
I've already played Vermintide 1, and this is barely more than a skin with a few extra monsters (that still feel pretty damn similar). The talent tree system is as basic as can be, the class system is just here to artificially limit your weapons and stop you from using more than ONE skill. Sure, skills could be nice... if it had more than that, and on smaller timers on most specs.

Vermintide 1 was a shallow game which felt great, Vermintide is a shallow game that hides it with the plague of the GaaS model, with dailies, weeklies, special events, loot chests everywhere and meaningless level progression... that just means that you have to grind levels to have enough stats to enter harder modes (quite literally, you can't even start them without the required ilvl).

It's the greatest game that I don't want to play, thanks ilvl, lootboxes, talent points and content barriers, that was just what I needed in every game!
Fuck this garbage seriously.

No achievements, no cards, no cloud saves, high price, can get physical PS4/Vita releases for 30€ (ya, PSN is 49,99 too, but come on). At least regional pricing is good.
PQube is a garbage company for PC releases and makes the mimimum effort that they have to do. Game is also locked to 1080p/30fps. Yes, I do have a raging hateboner against PQube, they always neglect their PC releases so fuck them all, I'd rather they pull this so that maybe Spike Chunsoft can release it like they did with Chaos;Child..

Wow, the regional pricing is excellent on my end. 93 BRL for a 50 USD game is very fucking nice.
