I've had experience holding onto games that are no longer sold, and from my limited number of cases, that "discontinued" price spike never seems to occur and card just becomes unmarketable with no trade activity. I suspect it's because demand also dies off with supply (since people buying the game are where most of fresh demand comes from).

Perhaps DuckTales will be different though, because of its name value.

I have like 30 cards taking up space in my inventory that are no longer marketable, from stuff like Transformers, Reservoir Dogs and even a foil.

If you fancy something different there's always the old classic Independence War series.

If i remember correctly it was one of the first games to use proper Newtonian Physics meaning people complained it didn't fly like other "Sims". Dumbasses.
They are mission based with a narrative thread and can be bastard hard at times if i remember correctly. That I-War intro movie was something else at the time though.

Honestly, at very worst you know you can grind them for gems. Steam sale icons & backgrounds are the worst because there's no way to dispose of them and they just sit there taking up my inventory space.

How I wish that someone made a large scale, single player, RPG based on the Star Trek franchise, crossing something like Freelancer with crew management/interaction, on foot planetary RPG quests, and some familiar franchise characters and elements. :cat-heart-blob:

As announced during ax2019 JAST is now in a partnership witt Kagura Games to release titles faster.
They are also on other stores like MG and JAST.
Sakuragames are the hacks shoving MTL’d stuff out on Steam and selling said MTL’d garbage for a pittance, and doing all the other weird stuff.

I remember it was one of them but I couldn't remember who it was.

Also time to learn Chinese/Japanese I guess

So, if I'm reading their website correctly, the new version isn't just a live action version of the previous game, but it's actually a game with 2 different presentation modes (meaning, both the anime and live action versions are included, and you can switch between them in the main menu).

Does anyone know if any additions were done to the game, outside of the alternative presentation?

---

In other news, for those who bought the Season Pass for Clue/Cluedo on Steam, there's a new theme out:

After I played through Catherine recently, I was thinking "how are they going to fit another character in this game"?
And, from what I checked, it honestly appears that the new character "clashes" a bit with the game, even in terms of presentation and cutscenes.

When Catherine launched, I know many where disappointed that the PC version featured the original version of the game.
But, honestly, I'm not sure if we didn't get the better, or at least more consistent version of the game.

Not really sure how considering its literally the same game with new content and a new engine.
I'm clearly not as much as a fan of the game as you were, but like I mentioned above, I recently played and finished the game for the first time, and after finishing it I wasn't sure how they could successfully add another character/love interest to the mix, so out of curiosity, I went to check some trailers/footage/cutscenes, and honestly, the new character and related cutscenes appear to "clash" a bit with the rest of the game. It looks... different.

It seems a bit obvious that the new content was a later addition, and honestly, the original game appears to be a more "coherent" package, even in terms of narrative.
But, again, this is the opinion of someone who still hasn't played the new version, and just watched a few videos. :)

The new content looks bad is my point

I already spoiled it all as soon as it came out in Japan. Online multiplayer and arranged mode sold me on the game alone. But I also really enjoy Rin and their route. So i'm definitely looking forward to suffering enjoying it when it launches. I'm not going to bother trying to 100% it unless it comes to Steam though. Like fuck im sitting through Rapunzel again for a console 100%.

The new ending for Katherine sucks though.

Eh as someone who played through 4 different versions of Persona 3, 2 different versions of Persona 4, and is planning on playing Persona 5 Royal when it comes out even though I have a massive love-hate relationship with it and really dont want to go through 110 hours of that again. Atlus does this sort of thing all the time. They always manage to meld the new content in pretty well and even if it is different, its almost always for the better. So I have faith Full Body can pull it off well.

Rin's route is not really like the others, For the majority of the game, Rin and Vincent are just friends. In Night 3,4 and 5 you will get confessional questions related to Rin and if you pick the right answers, the morality meter cracks. Which changes the story. If you ignore Rin's route, They leave after Day 6 and leaves Vincent a goodbye note and the game continues like Classic would.

Finally got around to install Windows 10 on one of the HDDs I had lying around and guess what, the old games that crashed the Insider build on my main drive work with this non-Insider Windows 10.

On the one hand, I'm glad it was quite easy to fix this (even though I still have to tweak that dual boot stuff). But it's still kinda infuriating that a new Windows build makes some older games unplayable. Also, it seems that this is not the case for everyone who opted in for the Insider program (it actually seems like I'm the only one lol). Not sure what's borked with my main Windows 10 and I don't feel like looking into it.

:ripblob:
Alright, anyone here knows their dual boot stuff?

Replaced the old HDD with a new SSD and created a 150GB partition. Installed Windows 10 on that partition and so far so good. But I don't get to the boot manager after shutting down and starting my PC. I have to change the boot order in the BIOS to switch between my "new" and "old" Windows 10 which sucks and I don't think that's supposed to happen (fast startup is deactivated).

Not sure what's happening here. I even looked at some guides in retrospect and I've been doing it as it's supposed to be done.

But I just get one instead of two Windows 10 in this drop-down menu

This shit is super annoying and I hate it. Installed Windows 10 like five times since yesterday and it always ends up like this.

So it looks like GameStop offers $225USD store credit when you trade in your N/S for the new version. It would maybe cost $100USD for me to get the new one. I'm kinda tempted but I want to hear other peoples thoughts about this first. I am playing FE 3H in handled mode in my room (that is the only place I use the thing) and I have been limited myself to how often I can play games through the battery life and once the battery is almost finished I just charge it and jump onto my PC and play some other games

It has been some years when I had dual boot, but https://neosmart.net/EasyBCD software helped back then.

And speaking of nice prices, I think someone added a few extra numbers to the prices of these DLCs:

They'll have to take my original Switch from my cold dead hands. I'm not giving up the hack friendly version for anything.

Despite having a vacation I am not playing so much. Been mostly playing Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ these past days
I know the feeling.

Usually, when I have more free time, it's when I struggle to find more will to play anything.
Or, I struggle to decide on what to play, and I end up wasting some of that free time deciding on what to do. :giggle:

Steam really needs an ANSI only eroge.
Just imagine the blocky naughty bits.

GMG is having a bundle month starting today. Here are the first bundles available.

Sniper Ghost Warrior bundle for $10 is laughable tho
The bundles I checked were all terribly poor.

I mean, look at this one:

It's 7,35€ for 8 games.

All of them, plus plenty more, were part of a 21 title bundle on Fanatical (the Dollar Classics Bundle), that cost me less than 1,00€, this one:

Damn, this is just horrible at least as far as price goes. Truly bruh bundles

Anyway, Dead Cells got a new update and it's on sale:

And so did DiRT Rally 2.0 (DiRT Rally 1 and DiRT 4 also on sale)

Jump Force also on sale:

Sometimes, when I'm LTTP to a series of games (perhaps due to waiting for good deals) I get the feeling that I rush through the games to both experience them all AND "get back on track" with the series.

Like a specific combination of LTTP and FOMO.

I've been playing the Assassin's Creed series of late and getting this feeling.

Played through Black Flag, loved it. Rushed through Rogue, thought it was OK. Started Unity, really liked it as well.

And at the same time I really can't wait to try out Syndicate since it looks awesome (London =cool) and after that Origins (entirely different from the earlier games).

When I get this feeling it always feels like I can't properly enjoy the separate games, knowing that I'm so "far behind".

Is this making any (weird) sense? 😜
