Yeah as fsdood said, proton doesn't work on Mac. Valve barely tolerates Mac's so don't think we will ever see proton on Mac.
Apparently Namco has been using this label for some time, but it's all been Steam anyway, so I wouldn't be worried.

Proton uses OpenGL and Vulkan as a backend, so using MoltenGL and MoltenVK it should be possible to get those running on any modern MacOS machine. of course, somebody would need to actively work and support this, so beyond just the blessing of Valve, it would also need some sort of push from the community working on developing Proton.
Yeah it doesn't seem to be that much of a hassle to get that working on Mac, it kind of was a bigger deal that Valve didn't have Mac support for it I think. Even Wine has Mac support still. But I never figured out how to use it haha, so thought I might as well bootcamp if I find windows 10 cheaply.

So a little over two years ago I started to buy figures and it has since become a rather expensive hobby of mine. I am sure that there are people here who have more than what I have. I mainly get articulated figures since they do look nice and are no where nearly as expensive as say a scaled figure. Figmas and Nendoroids are cool, I have a few Bring Arts which are not as good but it's the only way to get SE figures.
So not that far away from the town that I live is this store called 1-1 World and in this place they sell a lot of retro hard to find games in addition to new stuff, they also have a lot of "weeb" stuff as well. So if you are into anime or video games then they have a bunch of stuff for you. As far as video games go I don't really have an issue with them since their prices are decent I guess (you might be able to get some of them for $10USD cheaper elsewhere if you looked).
As for their figures that is where I have an issue since they do sell bootleg figures. My first Nendoroid was through them and I didn't think to much when buying it, I never asked them if it was a legit figure or not but I guess the price should have told me something. The figure was $13 USD as part of a sale they were having, this is not to say that $20USD Nendoroids don't exist since I do have some and that typically because big name stores can't really get people to buy them and put them on clearance. I got my Mercy Nendoroid for $25USD and all my other Overwatch Nendoroids for about $20USD as well.
So they might still have some bootleg figures up for sale, they also have some pretty high mark ups for some figures, stuff that should be $20USD they are charging over $40USD, now to be fair I am not 100% sure what the current street value for some figures are but I can get an idea of their original value. So they were charging $40USD to $50USD for some SAO wedding Banpresto craneking figures, maybe these figures are just that rare now (but they did have like 5 of these types of figures in general). Some other stuff was decently priced but ya it does feel like they are ripping people off with some figures.

My biggest gripe with the switch is that mario party switch is dependant on the joycons and cannot be played otherwise >:/

If you think about it, during PS3 days MS and N actually had more high-profile exclusive JRPGs than Sony. I can't even name anything outside of White Knight Chronicles and that game is not in the same ballpark as Xenoblade or Lost Odyssey, NNK maybe, but it started as DS game,

I got a key for a free month, but I cannot activate it because Xbox does not know what region my account belongs to (set to Austria a few years back to buy Gears 1, and I think my Gamepass is for Germany). I get a typically MS-cryptic error message when I try to activate the free month.

Their CS is really good in my experience. If you download the Get Help app, you can chat to a rep. Contacted them just yesterday and had a billing issue resolved in five minutes.

Man, I haven't replayed FFVIII since the PSone days, the idea of revisiting it is actually very appealing. It has its flaws but few games have reached its levels of epicness and the ost is still the best in the franchise and one of the best in any game. Seriously though, so much shit happens in that game, it's crazy how ambitious it was.

Too bad it’s still a console and, just like all other consoles, I need to be constantly reminded that I own one and I have games to play.
I probably have started FFVIII nearly 20 times and finished it 3 or 4 times since it first came out on PC in the 90's.
