Eh i think i can settle for a $5 loyalty discount at least.I wonder how the remastered version of VIII compares to the current modded version also will SE at least give a discount to people that already own FF VIII? I mean that's at least 300k people right?
Maybe they will do a Bandai and give you 50% off?
I have not heard anything about them taking down the original version on Steam? Will they give people that buy the remastered version the OG version for free at least? (For those mods)?
Sounds like perfect for Gamepass.Seems that the game is crashing for some people, performance is horrible to others. Damn
Proton doesn't support NMS ?What's the cheapest way to get Windows 10? Thinking about installing it on my Mac just so I can play no man's sky.
I don't think Proton works on Mac OS.Proton doesn't support NMS ?
Yeah as fsdood said, proton doesn't work on Mac. Valve barely tolerates Mac's so don't think we will ever see proton on Mac.Proton doesn't support NMS ?
Apparently Namco has been using this label for some time, but it's all been Steam anyway, so I wouldn't be worried.cool! Little Nightmares was such a gem. although "pc digital" has me worried....
Ohhhhhh, after several minutes being lost I just understood how I misread the situation, sorry.I don't think Proton works on Mac OS.
Proton uses OpenGL and Vulkan as a backend, so using MoltenGL and MoltenVK it should be possible to get those running on any modern MacOS machine. of course, somebody would need to actively work and support this, so beyond just the blessing of Valve, it would also need some sort of push from the community working on developing Proton.Yeah as fsdood said, proton doesn't work on Mac. Yeah it doesn't seem to be that much of a hassle to get that working on Mac, it kind of was a bigger deal that Valve didn't have Mac support for it I think. Even Wine has Mac support still. But I never figured out how to use it haha, so thought I might as well bootcamp if I find windows 10 cheaply.Proton uses OpenGL and Vulkan as a backend, so using MoltenGL and MoltenVK it should be possible to get those running on any modern MacOS machine. of course, somebody would need to actively work and support this, so beyond just the blessing of Valve, it would also need some sort of push from the community working on developing Proton.
Little nightmares is sold on gog too.Apparently Namco has been using this label for some time, but it's all been Steam anyway, so I wouldn't be worried.
Correct, that's the logo they use to get a similar style to their reward platform which uses similar logos and fonts.Apparently Namco has been using this label for some time, but it's all been Steam anyway, so I wouldn't be worried.
Uh ? Are you certain of your informations ? I believe you are in France like me and I see no news about the new-old switch availability.Someone stop me... I'm seriously thinking about getting the a Switch, the new version should be out today!XD
I looked at the micromania website and it at least said it was out today. Going to check later today in stores if that's actually the case.Uh ? Are you certain of your informations ? I believe you are in France like me and I see no news about the new-old switch availability.
Well if u see yourself using it as a portable system to play ninty games, go for it.I looked at the micromania website and it at least said it was out today. Going to check later today in stores if that's actually the case.
AFAIK no, they are not, however they are collaborating together for that WWZ/Division game, but I could be wrong when I say no, they are not owned.Tencent owns NEXT studios?
I finally found it, you were right. The Micromania site is a fucking mess though, I had to browse some "new products" section, the Switch category still has the old model.I looked at the micromania website and it at least said it was out today. Yeah I would only use it as a portable system. Still wondering if I should wait for the lite or not, it's 100€ cheaper but I kind of like having detachable joy cons. Hmh.Well if u see yourself using it as a portable system to play ninty games, go for it.
My biggest gripe with the switch is that mario party switch is dependant on the joycons and cannot be played otherwise >:/
I agree, it's little pricey for me also but right now I have some extra cash so it's now or never opportunity for me.XDI finally found it, you were right. The Micromania site is a fucking mess though, I had to browse some "new products" section, the Switch category still has the old model.
For fuck's sake, this is tempting, but even if I could buy one, console gaming, and Switch gaming in particular, is far too rich for my blood
Yeah, I like handheld gaming, and I like the lite, but it absolutely destroys the point of the whole switch thing.Yeah I would only use it as a portable system. Still wondering if I should wait for the lite or not, it's 100€ cheaper but I kind of like having detachable joy cons. Hmh.

May i invite you?So a little over two years ago I started to buy figures and it has since become a rather expensive hobby of mine. I am sure that there are people here who have more than what I have. I mainly get articulated figures since they do look nice and are no where nearly as expensive as say a scaled figure. Figmas and Nendoroids are cool, I have a few Bring Arts which are not as good but it's the only way to get SE figures.
So not that far away from the town that I live is this store called 1-1 World and in this place they sell a lot of retro hard to find games in addition to new stuff, they also have a lot of "weeb" stuff as well. So if you are into anime or video games then they have a bunch of stuff for you. As far as video games go I don't really have an issue with them since their prices are decent I guess (you might be able to get some of them for $10USD cheaper elsewhere if you looked).
As for their figures that is where I have an issue since they do sell bootleg figures. My first Nendoroid was through them and I didn't think to much when buying it, I never asked them if it was a legit figure or not but I guess the price should have told me something. The figure was $13 USD as part of a sale they were having, this is not to say that $20USD Nendoroids don't exist since I do have some and that typically because big name stores can't really get people to buy them and put them on clearance. I got my Mercy Nendoroid for $25USD and all my other Overwatch Nendoroids for about $20USD as well.
So they might still have some bootleg figures up for sale, they also have some pretty high mark ups for some figures, stuff that should be $20USD they are charging over $40USD, now to be fair I am not 100% sure what the current street value for some figures are but I can get an idea of their original value. So they were charging $40USD to $50USD for some SAO wedding Banpresto craneking figures, maybe these figures are just that rare now (but they did have like 5 of these types of figures in general). Some other stuff was decently priced but ya it does feel like they are ripping people off with some figures.
I need help, also short haired waifus are great
Yes, that's the company I'm talking about, but as I said, I think they are not owned but I might be wrong. don't remember any mention of them being a Tencent company.Just to make sure we are taking about this group?

Yeah, it's extremely illuminating to think for a second about the number of JRPGs you couldn't play on PC in the PS2 generation, comparing that to the PS3 generation, and now.If Sony wants to put their back catalogue in a PC client, sure. I might take a gander. At this stage the size of their exclusive library is diminishing rapidly, though. There's no reason to buy their latest proprietary box if you're into RPGs, for example. That golden era has long since passed.
I'll take it!its actually coming

If you think about it, during PS3 days MS and N actually had more high-profile exclusive JRPGs than Sony. I can't even name anything outside of White Knight Chronicles and that game is not in the same ballpark as Xenoblade or Lost Odyssey, NNK maybe, but it started as DS game,Yeah, it's extremely illuminating to think for a second about the number of JRPGs you couldn't play on PC in the PS2 generation, comparing that to the PS3 generation, and now.
Well, I did some research and it looks like they are actually part of Tencent even if they are weirdly vague about it.Tencent owns NEXT studios?
That looks really good. Thanks for the share.Wish I heard about this game earlier, looks like my kind of thing.
Their CS is really good in my experience. If you download the Get Help app, you can chat to a rep. Contacted them just yesterday and had a billing issue resolved in five minutes.I got a key for a free month, but I cannot activate it because Xbox does not know what region my account belongs to (set to Austria a few years back to buy Gears 1, and I think my Gamepass is for Germany). I get a typically MS-cryptic error message when I try to activate the free month.
New Ultra-Low Latency Options For Faster Input Response
We know that gaming isn't just about raw FPS - gamers also want great image quality and faster response times. So we're introducing a new Ultra-Low Latency mode that gives gamers the ability to get the low latency feeling of high framerates, without having to compromise their graphics quality settings or resolution to get there.
The NVIDIA Control Panel has -- for over 10 years -- enabled GeForce gamers to adjust the "Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames", the number of frames buffered in the render queue. By reducing the number of frames in the render queue, new frames are sent to your GPU sooner, reducing latency and improving responsiveness.
With the release of our Gamescom Game Ready Driver, we're introducing a new Ultra-Low Latency Mode that enables 'just in time' frame scheduling, submitting frames to be rendered just before the GPU needs them. This further reduces latency by up to 33%.
Low Latency modes have the most impact when your game is GPU bound, and framerates are between 60 and 100 FPS, enabling you to get the responsiveness of high-framerate gaming without having to decrease graphical fidelity.
To select a Low Latency mode, open the NVIDIA Control Panel, head to "Manage 3D Settings", and scroll down to "Low Latency Mode". Three options are available:
Our new Low Latency Mode is being released in beta with support for all GPUs in DX9 and DX11 games (in DX12 and Vulkan titles, the game decides when to queue the frame).
- Off: The game's engine will automatically queue 1-3 frames for maximum render throughput
- On: Limits the number of queued frames to 1. This is the same setting as "Max_Prerendered_Frames = 1" from prior drivers
- Ultra: Submits the frame just in time for the GPU to pick it up and start rendering
Alright can confirm that the new switches are out in France, because I just bought one!
Jelly.Alright can confirm that the new switches are out in France, because I just bought one!
Zelda of course! first breath of the wild and after links awakening. Probably get Minecraft on switch also instead of playing it on my Mac.Jelly.
What are you planning to play on it ? A specific game ?
Nice, have fun. It’s actually the only console worth owning for someone who plays on PC imo.Alright can confirm that the new switches are out in France, because I just bought one!
I probably have started FFVIII nearly 20 times and finished it 3 or 4 times since it first came out on PC in the 90's.Man, I haven't replayed FFVIII since the PSone days, the idea of revisiting it is actually very appealing. It has its flaws but few games have reached its levels of epicness and the ost is still the best in the franchise and one of the best in any game. Seriously though, so much shit happens in that game, it's crazy how ambitious it was.
