Maybe I'm not understanding but what's new? Achievements have always had percentages for those that have it. And you were always able to see your recent unlocked achievements on a game's page. The only new achievement things I've noticed are the golden glow for achievements you have that have a less than 10% rate of ownership and the activity feed sort of update on a game's page that shows achievements you earned.Something I didn't think of much at first with the Steam update, but now really like is how easy it is to see both achievements for games on the games page but also seeing how many has also completed the achievement. As I'm playing RE7 I can see where people stopped playing it, I'm soon further than half of those who played the game!
If you are talking about the logitech ones, they are loud, I have to have them set to 8% and even then with games I have to set them to under 50% audio via Windows (not in game). I am sure that I could mess around with other settings but ya.
They do sound nice and loud though
Linus has convinced me I will eventually buy a N/S Lite. In a year or so after they made "new models" which are less prone to drift?

How about improving it then Sony? Sony seems to spend more money advertising their services than they do improving them? or maybe it's just my imagination. I may get PS Now later on to play some older PS3 games since I never owned one

Its not even the grind, there's just so much shit to do right out of the bat, as someone who hasn't really played Destiny much beyond vanilla 1 it's just too much lol
There's GaaS games that are known to be too slow at the start (FFXIV is notorious for this) but this is like the other extreme, it just expects too much out of me as a newcomer that it gets utterly confusing. There's nothing to ease new people into it, here's a gun a slap on the back and go do strikes while barely understanding the game's mechanics.
Yeah those ones. I had some expenses when I was going to buy them but I still want them.
Not gonna lie if I could I'd buy the entire Logitech catalog, they know what they are doing (except their softwares, but that's the norm in their industry it seems)
I see, but ya just be aware that they are just very loud in general (you can do somethings to lower the volume but that may not be enough depending on your living situation).

It's sort of something that I'm struggling with mentally. I was having some issues but in the last 2 weeks or so I've been improving.
One of the things that I have been telling myself is that not every has their life together in their early 20s (college drop out) but they do figure stuff out and in some cases end up starting a family in their 30s.
Maybe I just felt lonely and while talking to people online can help it's still not a substitute for real life human interaction.
Because of the way that I grew up I would not go out and play with other kids and most of my time was spent in doors playing games and watching TV (and manga... Oh how manga would be the downfall of me). I would hang out with my friends only at school. And in college I pretty much did the same thing.

Yeah, that's kind of what I meant though. The game opened up quickly and it seemed like there was so much to "do" in terms of daily tasks and learning strikes/raids/whatever (stuff I would consider a daily grind) that I felt way overwhelmed within a few days.
If I wasn't already deeply invested in FFXIV, maybe I could have been bothered...but I was chest-deep in that game already and it was too late for me. Also, I can't be arsed to go looking outside the game for parties to complete content. The fact that FFXIV lets me find learning parties and teachers within the game with no problem made it much more appealing to me.
Not a big fan of smaller kbs, but I have a Logi G910 Orion something and I vouch for them Logi keyboards 100%.

All of my friends are either trying to get married, pregnant, living with their girlfiends and the like. And I'm like, fuck that lol. I love my girlfriend, but I would never get married, much less have a kid (actually I want to get a vasectomy soon).
I'm supposed to be CEO of my own company, married, with kids, with a huge ass house according to my elders, but yeah, fuck that.
東方剛欲異聞 ～ 水没した沈愁地獄 aka Touhou Gouyoku Ibun aka Touhou 17.5 has been recently announced and a trial version has been released. Here is a stream someone did. I've been playing it for 30 minutes or so and I have to say it's pretty fun, I've seen a couple of complaints about the lack of a regular jump button and lack of neutral attack, but otherwise it's a good concept and plays very smoothly.
Interesting story too, as Touhou games go:

Speaking of hardware I think I will try to get a new mouse and keyboard but I am not too sure what to really look for in either. For the mouse I don't mind if it's wired and if it had multiple (and easy to access) function keys that would be nice since there are some games were I use the two buttons on the side of my mouse to zoom and stuff. I guess for keyboard I would need something smaller? The issue is that when I play games I can touch ASWD, RQ, shift and space bar but that's about it, I have a hard time pushing other buttons, so I can't really push 123 in order to change weapons in TF2. I have tried to use my scroll wheel to change weapons but it almost never gets it's right.
Most of my games I play with my Xbox Controller but I have been trying to play more FPS games with Mouse and Keyboard.

Ya the whole memory thing is pretty cool but it does suck how you can't see them very clearly (which I guess is the point?) but it would be nice to revist them since I think the Sana (Open bath) is only for cut scenes and not the memories?

I am still planning to beat both this game and DQIV. I think 12 more hours in DQIV should be all that I need to beat the game.
Digimon is out later this month and since I already played a part of the first one I think I will not really play much of it (I mostly plan to buy it at launch for the pre-order stuff). I will also be getting the Atelier game but I don't plan to play too much of it since it seems like it will be needing a lot of time to beat/needs my full attention because when I get back to that game I will be very lost.
In my early 20s, I was working my first real job and doing a master's on the side (only could do one class at a time, took 5 years or so). I also knew 100% that being married, having kids, and working in an office forever were never going to be things that I wanted in life. So I played the capitalism game and saved aggressively in order to retire early. Quoting your last bit there because I wanted to encourage you to keep on and not be pressured by others to live your life a certain way. But I can also say that there's nothing like video games and the internet to be a total waste and time sink that will contribute nothing to your life and get in the way of any other goal you may have. I struggle with it all the time. It's not easy to resist the escapism and serotonin reward feedback loop.
Every day I ask myself what would I do daily if money wasnt a problem.
Coding? Nah. I would like to photograph things but I don't think I have the patience/creativity for it. I suck at artistic creations of any nature.
I would like to learn lots of languages but I'm not sure what I could do with that on my regular life.

Region-specific keys now exist, and there's a chance your order may not activate in your region. I live in Malaysia, and when I ordered from them on the 20th of September their store page stated their key activated here. Now it explicitly says it will not activate here. I've contacted them via support page, but support doesn't open for another few hours. :/
I also guess that stores other than Fanatical may have region-locked keys in place of the previous unlocked ones now, too.

Speaking of regional stuff, the RDR2 discussion in Era made me installed the R* launcher. To my surprise, they also offer regional pricing AND support my local currency. GTAV price is exactly the same as it is on Steam. It's kind of nice to see that there are companies that still do care about people outside of NA/EU market. It also makes me mad that how come that WinStore, Origin, Uplay, and GOG that have been around for much longer still don't get it.
I find it really funny that R*'s launcher supports my currency day 1 with all of their titles having the exact same price as Steam (which is a good thing because Steam has by far the best CAD support in the entire industry, significantly better than consoles even.). But even 10 months later EGS doesn't.

Don’t talk much but that’s just me. Wanted to say thanks for all the entertainment and information. Couple of weeks ago and completely without warning I had a diabetic related fit which turned into a heart attack and then permanent angina.
Had a quadruple bypass and managed to go home a couple days ago.
Through the last couple weeks of which I have memory of about half, this thread and a couple over at resetera kept me entertained and my mind off things so thanks to you all
It’s a bit difficult to be at a PC screen for reasons, though I can run a hdmi cable to a tv where I am. Anyone have any Bluetooth kB and mouse recommendations?

In my defence, I don't have free space on my disk for Destiny 2, not even close to it.
I would need to uninstall Hitman 2 to free some space, but that game will remain on my disk for a while longer.
