buy it ... it's actually really REALLY good!Last hour to buy trials of fire at EA price before price increase to 19.99$:
I picked up the Gary Grigsby games in a sale that was super cheap so it's worth holding off if you don't already have them as they go on sale once or twice a year.Big Boy Big Strategy Game Post

Aurora, now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. I'm dipping my toes in a pre-warp start for DWU and I'm wonderfully clueless as well!Besides, I've already got Aurora 4x and Distant Worlds: Universe if I want to blindly push some random UI buttons, make zero progress, quietly close my laptop & walk away.
According to my 8yo daughter, it's exploding vanilla pudding. Is this like a rorschach test? To me it's a Ditto that failed to imitate a Zapdos
Good call ! But it was Heroes of Normandie. Why these motherfuckers didn’t adapt Shadows over Normandy I’ll never know.Li Kao Maybe "Stirring Abyss" or "Tannhauser" might give you a start point for a search?
A code was recently found to unlock the full Timesplitters 2 game in Resistance.TS2 is great, at first it seems GoldenEye esque with levels in higher difficulties requiring more objectives and even opening up whole new areas, but every level has its own twist and plays differently (though I wish I could have more levels like those I liked). That's with completely missing the equally GoldenEye-esque multiplayer modes that must have been a blast if you could get a bunch of friends together. And a map maker on top for endless play. I loved when console games did that since Tenchu. Resistance only includes a couple levels afaik so not worth the trouble tbh, just emulate it on Dolphin (easier than PCSX2).
Ahh, i have that one from a sale ages ago but i wasn't in steam client so couldn't look in my library.Good call ! But it was Heroes of Normandie. Why these motherfuckers didn’t adapt Shadows over Normandy I’ll never know.

That's an impressive backlog of grognard-goodness.I've bought a bunch of them for when i'm old and knackered and can't even pick up a controller anymore and have the time to learn them

I can't wait for DW2 too! That's perhaps my most anticipated release of the year.DW2 looks to be seeing an summer release.
I look forward to Day One-ing it and still having no idea wtf I'm doing for months and years to come, lol.
Well, It's only really some music changes, main character model changes and dialog changes isn't it?Speculation, Nier Gestalt is actually including in Nier Replicant and serves as an alternative world as one of the endings
Just a speculation.
Pretty much mine too.I can't wait for DW2 too! That's perhaps my most anticipated release of the year.
When asked to comment, EA offered a standard statement. “F1 2021’s pricing is consistent with both EA’s and major industry publishers’ approach for each region,” a statement to VG247 reads.
"Yeah we're assholes, what about it?"On the day of F1 2021's reveal, new owner EA jacks up regional Steam prices vs last year's game

Yeah looking at their other releases, it's looking bleak. Is there some reason to think this'll come to Steam?
None of the other ShotTriggers releases have, so my hopes aren't high...
I just want Ketsui and Garegga.

I cannot confirm nor deny if I was at the Belgian coast earlier today.
I think it goes deeper than that, DWU is a simulation at heart whereas Stellaris is a well-balanced, finely polished board game. I wish I could get into DWU enough to appreciate its depth though but I feel like no matter what choice I make, the automation is superior.-snip-
But man, Distant Worlds is just...well it's just a completely different world.

That's a SEVERE bout of Lactose-intolerance there. Maybe the Cheese-Custard Milkshake was a bad idea?

Thing is i have money to get even Index kit and i would love to get one but it would be royal pain it he ass to get it here and on top of that issues with Knuckles are bit worrying me because i probably wouldn't have any warranty because i can't get it from Valve directly or any store (someone would need to buy it for me and bring it here). It is same for Quest 2 but it is half the price (with Link cable included) so it is bit easier to live without proper warranty. And i would really want to finally experience VR games. FB thing is sh*tty for sure but honestly if i don't need to buy games from Oculus Store i won't.dex3108 If it fits what you want and you understand what you're getting go for it. I know a few people who are very happy with theirs or at least they haven't moaned about them and i'm sure Alextended would be very happy to have another set of eyes on their extensive VR posts! I mean sure, Facebook bleh, but if you're okay with that then it's apparently a good bit of kit for the cost.
No shame.I need to confess something, i am considering purchase of Oculus Quest 2.
Finally someone gets it
Gameplay is slightly different, the combat was revamped to be more similar to Automata if I remember correctlyWell, It's only really some music changes, main character model changes and dialog changes isn't it?
There's no real difference in the game itself as far as i remember. Gameplay, maps and levels stay the same only the dialog and tone of the game changes. It'd still be a bit of work to incorporate it or have a toggle but it's not impossible.
Hmm. When you mentioned supernatural ww2 I immediately though about Tannhäuser Field Ops. But the units are cards, not cardboard pieces... and I'm pretty sure there's no digital version... so...Unrelated to serious wargames, but any idea about the name of a squad based game, adapted from a tabletop game, with WWII setting. I think the units are represented with like flat cardboard on the maps. Pretty sure the physical game got supernatural expac but not certain about the digital game.
Kinda Achtung Cthulhu in spirit to me.
