Was Astebreed any good or was it one of those games that everyone bought just to get more Japanese games on the store?
So a dev of a game supposedly lost all of the source stuff and has stopped developing the game...then is gonna remove the game from the store (as in can't purchase).
I can't grasp how people don't backups and I am sitting here feeling like I do it too much on stuff that probably doesn't even need to be backed up.
It was very good. I haven't really played much of the updated Enhanced Edition (the update that was made to add the PS4 additions), but the original game was very enjoyable. Was Astebreed any good or was it one of those games that everyone bought just to get more Japanese games on the store?
Automachef is pretty fun so far. I say so far because I know this game is going to get crazy. Lets just hope I can keep up.
The vulnerability allows any user to run arbitrary code with LOCALSYSTEM privileges using just a very few simple commands.
The vulnerability lies within Steam Client Service. The service may be started or stopped by unprivileged users. This becomes a problem because, when run,Steam Client Service automatically sets permissions on a range of registry keys. If a mischievous—or outright malicious—user were to symlink one of these keys to that belonging to another service, it becomes possible for arbitrary users to start or stop that service as well. This becomes even more problematic when you realize that it's possible to pass arguments to services that run under extremely privileged accounts—such as msiserver, the Windows Installer service.
I hope Valve fixes that exploit soon.

Shit's good, yo. Kind of like Crimzon Clover being a really good, exciting and accessible shmup. Was Astebreed any good or was it one of those games that everyone bought just to get more Japanese games on the store?
PSN has never recommended to me something I actually want to play. Its always some dumb exclusive from them, or something everybody knows that exists like FIFA, CoD or GTA.snip
Considering how much money those games make, you might as well send that time convincing people to buy the game from you. Some news.

Yikes. But doesn't this require somebody to be actively typing at my keyboard and or have remote access already?
I just want my anime games displayed on my feed, just like on SteamConsidering how much money those games make, you might as well send that time convincing people to buy the game from you. "For the players"
I'm not sure if I mentioned it but they also have a section that tells you which games are popular (trending?) with your friends, but the issue is that it doesn't tell you which friends (this is on the PSN store by the way, I'm not sure if the PS4 tells you this stuff "natively").

I wonder what this means for their games department. Not sure this is the reason why they were the first publisher to go in bed with Epic.
Annapurna Pictures has been in trouble for a long time as one of their main competitors (A24 movies) is getting more and more focus and the movies Annapurna published didn't make the money they wanted, so, yeah, it's only their movie division.Annapurna seems to be in trouble:

According to the article, a free to play game you downloaded can be used to facilitate the attack. Combine this with a scenario where your windows user login already have an elevated privileges, it makes it trivial to access C:\Windows\ folder, for example.

they just got that route for the initial money as I don't think their games aren't doing any better that they would do on Steam/GOG, so.... yeah.

Steam :: Flame of Memory :: TIME TO SAY GOODBYE
Hi everyone, After many months, I come back to you to give you two messages: good and bad. Let's start with the bad one. For technical reasons related to the loss of all "Flame of Memory" project files, the game can no longer be developed. It is likely that the sale will be completed shortly and...steamcommunity.com

Why couldn't I have a rich father.Let's start a production company in my mid-20s with daddy's money because I'm bored and produce one unprofitable movie/game after another. And Sausage Party. What could go wrong? And if it does, get more money from Tim/Dad.
So many people with so little, and then, a few people with so much.
Outside of a publisher sale (or Golden Week/Anime Expo) I can't really think of a reason for why Sony would promote "anime games" on PSN (well in the west anyway). Ya despite them being a Japanese company and PlayStation having a rich history filled with JRPGs, they sure as hell are not suggesting them to me, I mean what's Atelier anyway? They do suggest some JRPGs but as you can imagine it's basically only FFXV or Persona 5, and Nier A (this is of course not including their first party stuff). And yet somehow Steam of all places shows me VNs!!!!! On their front page.I just want my anime games displayed on my feed, just like on Steam![]()
