MyDearest announced that DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate, a new title in the Chrones series, will launch on Meta Quest 2 on September 22, 2022. A Nintendo Switch version is still currently in development.

You know what time it is

I had another game in mind for today but due to it releasing at a weird time that would practically be at the end of the stream we're going to give something else a try instead. That something else is a return visit to Doom Eternal, or as I call it because I'm a weirdo, Dude A Turtle. I'm not sure we'll stick with it for the entire stream but it is one I would like to play through again so we'll see!

Should be starting in about 10 minutes!

PCVR version was announced initally, my guess is they'll release it once all episodes are out.
(Oh, I can't read actually lol)

I did not own the first one.
Trying adding it from
It's not being added for me. On browser or on Steam natively.

Edit: I also don't see the bundle on the store page from Warriors of the Nile 2 page. It only shows the game.
Bundle may have been a mistake getting the first game for cheap and they removed it?

Looks like its gone. must be a glitch.. cause it clearly said available for a week and it launched today.
Yeah when I initially posted it, the bundle was there from the direct link but now it's gone. I always miss the good stuff.

I usually keep my wish list under 100. If a game goes on sale at a “reasonable” price and I can afford it at that point in time, but choose not to buy, that tells me I didn’t want the game actually.

It happens a lot and I use that to trim my list.

Yeah, I also had an ever-growing wishlist and now use the same method. If I don't feel motivated to buy a game at 70+% off I'm probably never going to actually buy (never mind play) it.

My wishlist is less than 400 but I have been thinking about trimming it. There's stuff in there since I opened my Steam account, time to accept I'll never buy that.
That's more or less where I'm at. I'm long overdue for a clean-up. I simply don't play as many games as I used to, so if it's been years and I still haven't bought it even at a deep discount then I probably never will. There's some stuff that I actually want to get around to but simply can't find the time (like the 200+ Atelier games that released while I wasn't looking); those can stay. But Random Indie Title #156 that only sort-of looks interesting and that I didn't even remember existed until a second ago should probably get off my wishlist. It's just not happening lol.

The beta apps feels a bit weird to use on Android. I think scrolling might be broken, it lacks any inertia and snaps back when you stop touching the screen. As with any obviously web based app, I kinda wish they'd ship something purely native intead. But alas. The QR based sign-in seems nice, at least.

Downunder.
The beta mobile app look slick, but I don't know whether it's my ageing smartphone or just the beta state of the software in general that the app seem sluggish.

I like the notifications and the QR sign-in pages, though.

I've finally learned how to get the weapon switching binds right in Sunset Overdrive, because for god's sake next weapon is down on the scroll wheel. Now I might actually give that game some time after Cyberpunk.

New job is nice. Really shows that my last job was pretty crap.

Overall really like the new Steam app. Just needs to fix the scrolling, make it feel a bit more responsive overall, and for the love of all, add chat back. I kinda sort get still having a separate app option for chat and remote link, but it would be nice to actually add both of these back into the overall package.

Like just imagine being able to filter your library down to installed games or have the option to remotely install games here, and then being able to launch your game remotely right into Steam Link. Would feel extremely slick.

Huh, and I just realized remote installation seems hidden entirely now. I cannot get it to appear. :cryingwhyblob:

Nevermind, I could get to it, but it was not easy to find. It is on the old library landing page still and took forever to load

I could have written this fucking turn of event in advance, I swear it was obvious.
So I didn't play GTA V yesterday and I'm scared of dropping it (we are not there yet but...). The reason ?
Did you hear about Trevor ?

And to add insult to injury, if he wasn't repulsive enough, one of the first sub mission I did with him was incredibly moronic and edgy. GTA has never been the pinnacle of realism but there is a tone, here it was Edgy McEdge does GTA.

Yeah Trevor was the worst part of GTA V for me. Didn't care for that character at all, way over the top even for GTA.

I still hold to this day that Bully was the last great open world game Rockstar made. The rest just felt too big or the stories didn’t interest me or I just didn’t like the characters.

As a caveat, I never played undead nightmare which I think I would have enjoyed more than the base game.

I've got Samsung S21 with an Exynos processor. The new app is very laggy and like other mentioned the scrolling is broken. While my phone supports 120 Hz, the new Steam app feels like it's refreshing at around 20 hz. It's also funny that they said their old app looks like it was taken from 2015 because the new app doesn't feel modern either.

Also some interesting news
