I'm lttp on this (backlogs yay) and I'm saying nothing profound that hasn't been said before but Ghostwire Tokyo is ok.

It is very much one of the games of all time.
It is a highly ok game.
It graduated in mid with a C from average university on an overcast day.

Yeah I might not finish it; it's got great style but little else.
yeah I dropped it

It looks like Songs of Conquest which is ironic as that was aping HoMM. Still looks good and neat to see another Ubisoft early access game launching on Steam alongside Rogue Prince of Persia.

Ubisoft hasn't made a good HOMM yet, but I keep hoping they will someday.

Not gonna pay until they prove it's good.
HoMM 5 was good and in some ways I prefer it to 3. The human, necro and dark elves campaigns are absolutely excellent.
However I'll also be keeping my hopes in check considering the dumpster fires that were 6 and 7.

Night and day difference when you unlock FPS for cutscenes. for FFXVI
Love modders but they shouldn't need to be doing this basic shit
Same thing happened to me the other day when my friend reminded me that the Aigis DLC for P3R comes out soon. Turns out I bought the expansion pass months ago lol.
Mate I legit did the same thing afterwards with Starfield and shattered space

I generally enjoyed HoMM, but these types of games are so long that, if I want that game experience, I still have one full campaign in Age of Wonders 3 and the entirety of Age of Wonders 4 to play before I need to consider giving Ubisoft any of my money.

Maybe if nothing else in the genre is made before I retire.

Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories all wrapped up now, Riku's story was better than Sora's.

On to 358/2 and then KH2, where I'm sure I'll meet my hated nemesis again, the fucking 100 Acre Wood.

kinda feeling skeptical that this will be any good but will definitely be keeping an eye on it to see if it proves otherwise

At least the minigames are better with each game, in KH3 it's just stuf like Bejeweled

As someone whose favourite genre are AA/AAA 3D RPGs (first and third person), I have a lot to look forward to. Am I missing any?

Final Fantasy 16 (ok I know it is mostly an action game)
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Fallout London (have yet to play it but fully intend to once patched)
Dragon Age Veilguard (hey, it might be decent)
Avowed
Kingdom Come Deliverance II
Gothic Remake
Greedfall II
Starfield + Shattered Space
Vampire Bloodlines 2 (hope dies last)

Plus other games I am interested in like STALKER2, GoW Ragnarok or SW Outlaws.

Why would they ever lock them in the first place? Mind boggles. I hope full version will not require any mods for such basic functionality.

It's not really AA, more like B or C if we're being honest regarding modern budgets, but the action gameplay of Ys X is very satisfying.

It will also have a much better PC version than FF16
I looked at it, but (to my detriment) I just can't into this anime artstyle. I don't know how to overcome it.

About that (PS4 emulation is starting to become crazy.)

If Sony released high quality straight port of Bloodborne to PC, I am pretty sure it would sell 5 million copies quite easily. 100 million USD in revenue, probably more.

Instead, they will wait until the PC version runs great via emulation. Mind boggles.
