It doesn't bother me. Just thought it was kind of funny that it happened in my very first match. Sort of like a Simon & Garfunkel "Hello Dota My Old Friend" moment.
Sir, this gif has a very different connotation from how you are using it here
I'm having trouble getting into PoP. I don't usually play Metroidvania games but this is Prince of Persia so I had to give it a go. It's a well made game but I'm just getting lost on what I'm supposed to do most of the time. I'm not very far in and to be vague/spoiler free, I've reached the part where you get your first new weapon and the upgrade for that weapon but I'm always having trouble figuring out where I'm meant to go. There are so many paths at any given time and I just don't know which ones to follow. I understand this is basic Metroidvania design of having places you can't go to until later in the game but I'm not sure I see where the fun is in endlessly running into dead ends? There's an ingame system to embed screenshots in the map to remind you of important places you want to revisit and it seems like a QOL feature but to me it feels like they're trying to solve a problem they created. There's a golden sparkling trail that is supposed to lead you in the right direction but even that is misleading as it can take you in the wrong direction and then point you to a place you can't go to because presumably you lack the correct upgrades. Also for a game that has a bonfire system where enemies respawn every time you rest, fast travel is a must. I believe this game has fast travel because I've seen one fast travel point so far but no idea how to use it. Assuming it's something that unlocks later.
So yeah, someone help me understand how you're supposed to go about it. Just follow every path and find secrets and dead ends until you stumble upon the correct one? There has to be a better way.
