I was thinking about stuff like g2a. It's always a gamble of sorts and some might not want to take it but I had no problems with the bundled stuff I got over the years.
Ah, gotcha. I try to avoid those sites since they don't discriminate between like, bundle sellers vs. other kinds of shady things, but if I ever get really desperate to save a few bucks I would probably check it out. I know the majority of buyers aren't going to get screwed of course or else the sites would never last.
Started Yakuza 6.
The game is awesome of course but knowing it's the last chapter in Kyriu and Haruka's story makes me sad. Even after all these years I never grew tired of these characters.
The game was (is?) really cheap on gamebillet so I decided to finally close the book on this saga.
Also got scammed while trying to buy a used GPU, which is pretty depressing.

Tried playing Resi 4 with the HD Project installed. Emphasis on tried, because holy hell aiming on a controller is so scuffed. It just feels super unnatural, with the crazy high deadzone, super slow aim and really weird sensitivity curve. I can adjust the deadzone through Steam and the sensitivity with the tweaks the HD Project comes with, but I don't know if I can fix the curve to work well with high sensitivies. I guess I'll play on KB/M.
It's either the sensitivity, or the weird setup where you aim within a window before the camera moves that's throwing me off.

Okay who's ready for some scattershot Terminator impressions?
There's only a few hours left on the sale so I thought I'd throw 'em out.
Fighting is dangerous. You can do it but you have to choose your encounters. General stealth plays a key role. It's more tense than I would imagine. Feels very cat & mouse where you're the mouse, lol. But you've got tools to help you play tactically & smart (Sam Fisher goggles).
Sports an impressive BGS-lite feel. Imagine Fallout with the same chunky environmental maps and all the collectables (crafting, trading, ammo, health). Split up like Outer Worlds. Minor skill-tree progression to boot.
Gunplay feels great with a concussive weight, Always fun to track targets with night vision, drop in cloaked and visor-up for the kill (can't do both at once).
No manual or quick-saves between missions. You have to commit and it adds to the tension like in Isolation. You can restore checkpoints but they are few and far between. I'd hate it on paper but it works for the atmosphere on offer here.
Killer, adaptive music. based on your sitrep. Yeah, it's 80s. Remember to press start past the main menu to start the game..
Overall really evocative atmosphere pointing back to the original material (let's pretend the franchise is just T1/T2)

No, it is simply that pre-orders are yet to be open so they will likely open the store page today alongside accepting pre-orders on both PS5 and PC.
Oh, the good old days of unlicensed football games. I still have fond memories of playing International Superstar Soccer 98 on my N64 tho. With the PES games on PC you were at least able to patch in all rosters but if this comes out on consoles only... meh

What does the classic plan have now that the standard one doesn't? The main reason I kept the classic plan was that you got all games, but that's now the default.
About it being more expensive, I noticed it says it will bill $11,99 instead of €9,99 (as HB advertises for Choice now), which I found odd. Is it the conversion that makes it more expensive?
I'm wondering if I shouldn't just cancel and resub under the new plan for better pricing, if they don't offer me a discount after pausing/skipping.
The only difference currently is that you pay in $ vs € as far as I know. Which might be favorable sometimes, but with the current exchange rate it's more expensive.
I paused and they gave me a 4$ discount. I think I'm gonna check if I can switch plans without cancelling and I'm curious what happens to that discount in that case. But in the end I'll probably just cancel and get back in with the normal plan once they have a lineup I like again.

Maybe this is just copium but I doubt Nintendo will get into NFTs and they just said that to appease the shareholders.

There are two things one can trust nintendo to do, not know how to do internet properly and milk their fans for all the money. So NFTs are kind of 50/50 state.XD

I watched the Nextlander Dying Light 2 video. There was a chase sequence that looked fun for a few minutes but other than that everything looked so boring.
I don't think making open world zombie games with this type of ubisoft rpg design works. None of it looks fun. The best way to make zombie games is L4D or Dead Rising style imo. There has to be clear constant objectives to keep the game world tied to you. Otherwise the whole concept feels like a waste.

finished pokemon legends arceus had a lot of fun with it, also you can finally complete the pokedex without trading EVER with other players thus no 2 versions with exclusive mons, thank god
how does it run ? It looked pretty rough visually, so I would expect at least a locked framerate
