I want the people to know who might've been laughing at my gullibility at hardwar being a 90's game

Don't worry, I didn't know it either.

Still, with the really limited gear slots in the beginning, you can't really utilize much of your tools and your arsenal.

One simple gun is like half the allowed gear in the beginning.

Yep. Feeling pretty naked without a lockpick and a silenced gun for sure.

Thankfully you can get a pretty early silenced pistol from the assassin's in the showdown missions.

I don't think I used the Sieker emetic dart gun a lot in the main game but it's become one of the things I take with me in all the maps. Most of the NPC's that they pick as targets don't really have other ways to poison them and especially on crowded maps that's just a pain in the ass. It's also nice that they have some respawning items in the house that are always available, well, once you unlock a few more rooms. I still don't have a regular garrote but the stethoscope will always be there.

Did a reinstall of my gaming PC (installed a lot of bloat, so I decided to start with a fresh Windows 11 install) and instead of installing EGS and GOG Galaxy I installed Heroic Launcher.

How is it a third party open source project makes a faster and more usable client than both Epic and GOG combined?

Visuals and art in this game kinda looks insane.

Yeah the art director specifically is brilliant and inspired. I really hope the rest of the game can hold up. Looks much better lately than it was in the past.

Time will tell throughput of the artist. I hope they can become a 21st century Moebius or H.R. Giger. Right now their main revenue is commercials in Russia, but they're like early 20's?

Finished Elden Ring
It's been some time since I've played a game this much. Overall I've had a great time, though some of the late parts felt worse and kinda annoying, including some bosses. Left a bit of a mixed taste, even though the vast majority of the game was an unquestionable blast.
I started as a Samurai and used an Uchigatana for dozens of hours until I git a bit fed up with still using my starting weapon instead of any of the cool things, so eventually I respecced into a "melee" INT build and used to Moonveil Katana for a good while, then started switching between it and the Darkmoon Greatsword, until in the end I primarily used that one.
Pretty much always used the Nightmaiden & Swordstress spirit ash after I got it, they were real MVPs every time I could summon them.

Spelunky 2 is a bit chaotic too my liking and It's not as addictive and fun as the first game, but I did play the first game for over 100 hours, so it makes sense that Im not that much into the sequel.

Closing the servers but adding official support for community driven servers is a really cool move. Wish every MP game would do this when their time comes.

Adding player side support is in itself lot of work, so studios doing that means they cared for their game so much. Love seeing this

I think the dumbness is part of why I like it. The dumb story reads to me like EXACTLY the sort of dumb stuff they would do in a comic book. Since the whole story is like magic and demons and whatnot, I'm not minding that the characters are pretty silly and plot is mid. I GET TO GO TO BOOK CLUB!

Hitman freelancer campaign completed!

Surprised this wasn't paid DLC. Hitman and roguelike fit so well together. Much more challenging than the base game but also super fun. The game has become more replayable than it already is! Strongly recommend checking it out if you haven't already.

So seems Capcom continues disliking skirts

It's quite sad we won't get classic sniper pantsu jokes with this remake. I supose they have removed Ashley blaming dialogue lines since the change.
(It's been awhile since I was permabanned from that era forum for a skirt joke, lol XD)

They have done the same they did with Jill skort on Resident Evil 3 Remake.
Time to wait for Mods on PC, sad for console players.

The skirts added nothing but fan service anyway, I've always disliked Jill's costume in the original RE3, as for 4 hopefully this just means they're adding some personality to Ashley more than a weird child-like character that doesn't add anything but being something for players to creep on.

This game was originally a mobile game and then was ported to PC. It has a decent player base in Japan on PC.

The main advantage on PC is that the game does have 4K support and some nicer visuals and stuff.

I have not played it before but I'm guessing that enough people asked for native controller support and they ended up adding it.

I don't get the new changes and like Yoko Taro said "I just really like girls", I enjoy fan service and dislike what have they done with Ashley's personality but well I supose I'm not Capcom's target audience anymore. : P
The same for a lot of companies like Tecmo (with latest DOA) or Namco for example with Tekken 8

Harada f.e. saying on Famitsu's new year dev's resolutions talking they are specially looking to offend nobody on Tekken 8 characters lines.
This is not new, they removed Roger on Tekken 7 to avoid controversy. I cannot stand this kind of things : p.

Is it? Maybe they drew inspiration from it but that movie is literally a Lovecraft adaption. It's basically The Shadow Over Innsmouth with a little bit of Dagon thrown in. I never really made the connection between the two personally but it's been a while since I've seen it. I should probably rewatch it. I remember it being pretty good.

Maybe, but it doesn't help the game cuts to a close up of Ashley's chest. It's juvenile at best and extremely creepy at worst.

Also, it's a bit weird to complain about 'capcom dont like sexy' after Lady Dimitrescu and SF6 with the thiccest Chun Li yet and Foot Fetishist Juri is gonna be out in 5 months.
