You know, one thing Valve really needs to fix is the way screenshot uploader works now. Since the library update it's been kind of broken and doesn't sync online state of screenshots. Sometimes for screenshots that already online and have captions, it will add the "add caption" text in there again too.

anyone know who this is subtweeting

I went to the profile of one of the game devs who retweeted this and they also retweeted this right before so I assume its this dude. He worked on that racing game Drift Stage that got kickstarted years ago and never came out. Shocker, Dude's an absolute nutjob

I wish that small cloud icon is visible from BPM as well. I can't tell which ones I've uploaded unless I select it.

Could the Cuphead DLC be coming out tomorrow?

Damn, it's been 2 years since the announcement. Time flies when the world is burning.

The guy is really nuts. He threatens people constantly. Threatened Square with a lawsuit ???? Tells people to stay away from his ideas. All his ideas are stolen but he's constantly ranting about 'plagiarism.' He calls Ace Combat 7 propaganda, maybe because it says planes other than US planes are great.

And he's been like this for a long time. Legit grandiose delusions, threatening to blacklist people, claiming people love his works etc. One of the classic entertaining whackos.

Also he was one of the devs on Sky Rogue but apparently him being an asshole has taken them by some surprise.

Hey, Othercide is getting good reviews. Anyone purchased it?
Well, I've been seen someone stream the game up to Chapter 3, and the gameplay looks pretty bad. I do recommend you catch up on some negative feedback before purchase.
have to disafree with the gameplay being bad ... its pretty much dankest dungeon x xcom but with timeline of action ... if anything, what will give people problems and will rant about it are the rogulike elements or the difficulty of it all .
Gameplay is fun , personally love the "dynamic timeline" initiative-based system and how it requires to think diifferently than your regular xcom clone

Playing Max Payne 1, relaunching regularly because mouse crash. Such fun :suicide-blob:
So it's a broken game in more than one way. I destroyed it back in the day, so many playthroughs and speedruns. I remember not even needing to use the bullet time as the "barrel roll" was a sort of bullet time too. I barrel rolled the entirety of the game.

For the first time ever, I decided to pledge support for a kickstarter. Here's hoping that it'll not become a EGS exclusive.
It can't happen, at least in theory. They explicit stated they won't negotiate with any publisher who supports time-exclusivity deals.
I'm sure they had a worded deal witha few publishers before the kickstarter started.

Anything can happen until the game is released, what they state or say doesn't matter, also unless I missed it or stuff changed since yesterday KS launch they never mention "steam" outside of beta access, they mention a generic "PC" as platform.

That doesn't mean they'll go EGS exclusive or anything though, I'm just talking and saying that there'll be years before this thing is out and literally anything could happen as with any KS project.

edit: also since as I don't particularly like to be negative about stuff other people are excited about I won't touch upon this specific subject anymore

Mark my words, 505 Games will be the publisher of that Suikoden successor

I JUST FINISHED DEATH STRANDING, WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!!! :cat-heart-blob::cat-heart-blob::cat-heart-blob:

Yep

19. Death Stranding - Somehow greater than the sum of it's parts. A game designed around the most basic fetch quests is somehow elevated to near greatness with outstanding story telling, acting and the sense that you really aren't alone in this world, everyone is working together for a change. ★★★★ 1/2

Oh that game exists, forgot about it.
The game is too off-beat from other games plus Private Division did jackshit to market it properly.

Super Bunnyhop's feature on it got me way more interested. This is the kind of creative stuff I want from games these days.

Hopefully the regional pricing for Grounded isn't terrible. Im getting it on Steam. I feel playing a game through game pass is like playing russian roulette, "Will something go wrong now when I press the play button?".

I'm really tempted to back Eiyuden.
One thing I dislike (but is similar to most KS projects) is that the team they mention by name includes directors, game designers, artists and composers, but no programmers.

Pillars of Eternity was exceptional in that regard, since it included Tim Cain. To me, it's very reassuring to have a known lead programmer who actually shipped multiple large-scale RPGs.

Fair points you made there. No need to be shy with fair critical views.
Saying that you are skeptical about something doesn't mean that you can't be happy about other people enjoying it imo.

We're currently working on several fronts - improving all possible issues and gameplay experience based on everyday testing as well as your feedback. Second major „area of operation“ is completing all remaining story missions and we really can't wait to reveal this to all of you. Lastly, we're preparing player owned capital ships update along with all the changes this requires. These incoming „Big guns“ are coming to life nicely and we're quite anxious to unlock them to public.
Another thing we wanted to let you know is that, according to previously announced schedule, Starpoint Gemini 3 is about to receive its last price change. As of Monday, August 3rd, game price will be increased for the last time in this Early Access cycle. This price will be the final one and no more changes are planned until and after the release.

It must be my down to my general dislike of the genre but I read that as "are platformers devaluing games to gain market share?" I agreed in my head with an emphatic Yes! before thinking on what I had just agreed with. Still came out as a yes though, even after I'd thought about it.

Honestly, it's not too different from waiting for a big sale on PC. Which is something that I certainly do, like probably a lot of other people.
Except with GP, the dev still receives a check upfront, I play their game day one (very relevant for the ones reliant on internet interactions)... and well, the big difference with Microsoft's model right now is that all those games still get released on multiple platforms anyway, so it doesn't change anything for those who don't want GP.
Giving actual options instead of temporary exclusivity is a huge, huge difference from all the bullshit that most are partaking in.

Edit: and like Monooboe I bought Bloodstained on Steam, that's an Igavania, about my favorite franchise, and I know that I will replay it many times like the others.
I wouldn't have bought Ori 2 anytime soon as I didn't like the first. Glad that I played it, not sure it deserves another playthrough, quite happy in the end.
As I wrote in a prior post I meant this more in terms of consoles, on PC the steam top sellers list will always have a non heavily discounted game in its top sellers list.
Plus bundles likely don't get as many new owners of a game as buying it on Steam.

If I hadn't written it yet, this reliance on the big corporations to cover for your games is rather concerning; the consumers won't matter to the dev or pub and just the grant from, for example, Microsoft is what matters. Imagine if in the near future, sales of games in the retail space become low because instead, owners of the XSX just seek out the best discount or price for an annual game pass subscription, furthermore, if a new game releases on the XSX, it would lose sales because consumers will hold off for getting into Game Pass.
In fact, when SEGA's Yakuza series debuted on Xbox brand...they were included as part of Game Pass; Game Pass will become the main motivation for relasing on the XSX platform at least.

I apologize if my post comes off negative on the Game Pass esp. with its focus on MS; it is indeed good value for the consumer and great for savings, however, it makes pubs and devs decide to publish their game on the XSX platform only if they can be part of Game Pass, otherwise, they'll hold off or ignore the platform to avoid possible losses.
...and with how PSN and Switch owners view non 1st or 3rd party games on those respective shops, is it any wonder they would want a guaranteed handout?

I want to say
Yes.
