That Noclip video about Hades releasing on Steam is pretty weird, devs was adamant on not talking about the truck load of money from Epic and then treating, on the video, the release on Steam as the most important thing that happened to the game, Tim must be pissed, Lol
watching a video on a second screen made my gaming experience so much more fun and I lose interest less often. a few years ago, I felt I couldn't play those long MMO hours anymore, or got bored really fast in games where I had to wait for the match to start or end (World of tanks for example) or games with long turn times. With a second monitor it got so much better. And I feel I have more hours for entertainment available, when before, I had to switch to either gaming or watching videos.

So I updated this, launched it, unlocked a shit load of achievements.
But now it's downloading another 6.5GB before I can launch CE.
And they still havent fixed Reach's audio mix.

I think it's nice that you can choose what to install. This way you don't have to install the trash called Halo 4 when it releases.
The audio issues not being fixed is BS though. At this rate I'm never going to finish Reach.

I got so lucky when Newegg had a clearance sale on some good wheels last year. I used to play ETS2 with the gyro in my Steam Controller/DS4 (it was totally fine). If I were you, I'd look into the used market to see if anyone's getting rid of anything at a decent price.
It is really a bummer seeing devs and people I liked and supported previously basically not give a shit about the paying customers. I don't even watch Noclip anymore after Danny pulled the "lol it's just a launcher whiners" shit. I really missed the boat on going into game development; now I am stuck in a job where I actually have to treat our clients right and win their business.
Guess Borderlands 2 and TPS are coming to EGS because it now requires you to sign in to SHIFT to play.
Gearbox didnt think this through either because people are reporting crashing and performance issues because of this new shift update.
My First Trip to Japan is free right now. I like the art and I'm never going to Japan anyway so might as well give this a shot.
Yeah the selective install is neat.
Theyre never going to fix the Reach audio IMO.

Assembled my new party in Romancing SaGa 2.
Shirley is now joined by the 2 Crusaders Agatha and Peter, the archer Anne and the Martial Artist Terry.
It's pretty much a similar setup as my last party except the 2 Crusaders are filling my tank and mage role. (Peter is tanking and Agatha doing the magic. She starts with very high light and water magic already and gets a shield for free due to the class. Downside is she's pretty slow due to that shield, but I'll take it lol.)
Also Agatha has a portrait on the wiki, I guess it's from the gacha game. Would be awesome if those were ingame though (not that there's any place where portraits would be shown though

based on what some people said, the game has a patreon page for years, raking in a ton of cash but is considered notorious for very slow deveolpment and a lot of game breaking bugs, so people accusing the dev of milking it for as much money as possible and having this in early access feels like patreon money has gone down a bit.
That sucks to hear. I played a bit of it and it is indeed very unpolished. The art is good but everything else isn't fleshed out.
Was hoping it would get polished up but that does sound disappointing to hear. Hopefully they can actually deliver.

1 - those games are coming to EGS too (which is good)
2 - it's a general text that doesn't mean anything for BL2 and TPS.

As far as I know this was originally a different game being made through patreon, then the artist proceeded to basically steal the game's idea for this one, something like that.
I really think they'll fix it, but I don't understand how the sound engine was so limited on other platforms (I mean, it worked fine on 360 and X1) and why that functionality cannot be converted to Windows....

The DF video confirms that the FF7 demo runs at a locked 30fps at 1080p with some rare dips to 900p on the base PS4. Dynamic 1620p on the Pro.
The game seemed pretty well optimized to me when I played it and this confirms it, hopefully this is a good sign for the performance of the PC version.

Watched DF video analysis of FF7R and immediately noticed that it is 30fps, I don't know how people can say that it is silky smooth. But it definitely run better than KH3 although they have the same engine.

I definitely like it. It's really well made. Large too. You can fit a lot of coffee/tea in it.
I brought it with me and used it at my former office for a year or so.
I've actually always handwashed it anyway, as to not lose track of it when I had it at the office, so I can't tell how well it takes to machine-washing.
I've been eyeing their "Aperture Science" mug as well....

Plenty of must-buys in there still. Classics like 428, Ace Attorney, Umineko, Higurashi, FataMoru and VA-11 Hall-A as if there's someone out there who still doesn't own it. Plus more recent stuff like Raging Loop, Aokana and Yu-No.
I keep buying VNs that people recommend but I never play them.XD The only ones I've played in the last 20 years is SteinsGate and Doki Doki and loved both!
The one VN people should buy is The House in Fata Morgana!
Most people will recommend getting a portable device so you can read VNs on the go or in bed if you don't mind reading on a small screen. Reading in bed is definitely the most enjoyable way to unwind after a long day when you don't feel like playing RPGs.
Since I only have a laptop maybe I should finally take some time to play some VNs in a more relaxed manner.
