That doesn't sound stupid at all. I would give anything to be able to see my brother again even if it was only a dream. Remembering or trying to recapture the good times you shared with him is a good way to cope and I truly hope that it continues to help you.

Please never feel stupid or childish about coping with loss. You're going through a really tough time and nobody will criticize you for trying to make the best out of an awful situation. Take the time you need to recover and heal at your own pace, Everyone is here if you need anything and we all want to see you happy. :cat-heart-blob:

The other day I posted a picture I took while I was at the supermarket ( I found a Monopoly Fortnite edition in the toy section).

The day after I went to a local kiosk/library and found this:

I mean, I knew it was ULTRA popular and I knew that they milked Minecraft to death by producing a shitton of awful merch... But I actually had no clue that they're doing the same thing with Fortnite!

It'll take a while (if ever) before we can get rid of Tim.

I remember this happening with Pokemon when I was growing up. Maybe its just a case of man yelling at cloud but I find Fortnite in general as very obnoxious.

It's about getting as much money as possible. There are also toys with Fortnite theme

Oh yeah totally. Pokemon used to be EVERYWHERE. Even though I was often called "uomo pokemon" (literally, pokemon man) because I was some sort of living and breathing wiki for anything regarding red and blue, I was never interested in all those things! So if, like you say, it's a case of old man yelling at cloud, I was probably born old ;).

Yeah, but the thing is... Some products seem to target smaller children than you'd otherwise expect (PEGI 12+).

Edit: actually I don't even know why I'm surprised. They did produce toys about Alien, Predator, etc...

Played chapter V yesterday, the things you are forced to do to survive are absolutely gut-wrenching and you have to do them in front of a child, so on top of everything else you need to cope with his reactions.
When I arrived at the
battlefield
I actually said holy shit out loud. Poor kids. This is a survival horror game through and through.

So, a while back I bought an "all episodes" bundle for the adventure game Pendula Swing.

The bundle is clearly listed as including the first season of episodes (7), some episodes already available, the rest coming in the future.
To quote the developer:

"Pendula Swing Season One - All Episodes Bundle grants you unrestricted access to the entire Pendula Swing Season One, which will consist of a total of 7 episodes. You get automatic access to everything we release, as soon as we release it. I mean, the bundle is clearly listed as offering something it's not, and a purchase of "x" amount, will now cost double that, or more, if I want to get the complete game.

This isn't stupid or childish at all. I've dreamt about one of my best friends for months after losing her. I still do sometimes, almost 15 years later.

Any good 40K games besides Dawn of War and Space Marine? Seems like GW licenses the franchise to anyone with $5 in a wallet and it shows.

I wonder how they will handle the open world elements in the new expansion. I hope its somewhat like what Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes did with its open ended structure.

well, yeah, that's a given. and hey, you do you, i don't want to criticize you. I just can't wrap my head around playing arma with a controller. on a tv. on the couch. it's just not a "couch game" (for me).
and hell, did you hit anything? i mean. It's hard to hit with a mouse, it should be impossible with a controller. but maybe that says more about my skills on a pad. did you turn down accuracy/awareness for enemies?

Yeah I had it on easy. Shooting wasnt too bad. Steams controller config has a lot of stuff for getting the sensitivity feeling right with the dead zones and speeds of the sticks etc.

There were definitely some missions I remember being really tough and I only scraped by after a fair few reloads and different approaches. I remember one where all my squad had died, i was hiding in a bush for ages waiting for a patrol to leave me alone and then having to leg it about 2 miles to safety. Still really enjoyed it. I love the open nature of Arma games where you can find new ways to attack (or run away).

The only games i play with a mouse are low stress simulation games or point and clicks. Everything else gets a controller profile.

Yup. You can get the base game for $10 on Steam, and the Apex Edition that comes with base game and some DLCs (incl. the apparently very important Apex DLC) for $24.

Since the deal ends soon, I have been thinking about jumping on it too but dunno.

Same for me. I bought the "bundle" in January 2019 when only episoded 1-3 were available. I got no episode 4 or 5. :(

I have a betta fish in a tank next to my monitor now. Therefore, not only am I struggling with finding and sticking with a game, I'm constantly watching the tank. y i do thez tings?

What price Yakuza 0 is expected to be during the steam summer sale? I hope it goes sub 10 bucks, I wish I had the money for the humble bundle with Yakuza and the division included.

I think it might get a 50% discount, maybe? So far the lowest on Steam has been 33% (and most third-party sellers that didn't had a coupon to add an extra discount like Fanatical and DLGamer did). However, it has been sometime since it was on sale there so there's a real chance of a steeper discount next month. Anyway, if I were you, I would expect to see it for $13 like it was on the Lunar Sale, so at least you won't be disappointed if it doesn't go below the historical low.
