'Hello,

Whatever the seller may say, this is a beta version, for beta testers. It is not the same steamdb item as the regular published game, nor does it behaves the same. I'm sorry you can't agree to what seem like an obvious customer service case.

Let's see what Paypal has to say about this issue.

Sincerely,'

Wait a minute, I'm pretty sure I've seen you playing Gears Tactics on Steam as well on the day of release 😂

I'm not judging you of course, but it's hard for me to understand why you would spend €70 on that game while calling it "daylight robbery". You wrote it yourself: if people are willing to pay that price, there's little chance Microsoft will fix it. And there's the risk other publishers will raise their price as well.
It's 55 euros here. :) Was even less when the valuta wasn't this high. :)

And I stand by it, better to have the 70 euros Steam option than no option, at least you can wait for sale.

I also played and finished the game during the week of release.

I have a stupid question. I've played Dying Light a looong time ago, singleplayer only and then left it. I see that they're continuing to do events and stuff like that, I guess for the multiplayer? What am I missing?? Is there some kind of post-game content in the multiplayer part of the game?

I know there are others people that look for card / deckbuilding games on steam.
This comes out tomorrow:
After roguelikes, 8bit platformers and metroidvanias, deckbuilders are the new indie darling for the foreseeable future.
Not complaining but I find it funny how easily an otherwise niche genre can become so overcrowded after a single success story.

'Thank you for your response.
Please, be informed that the DLC was not mentioned in the offer description. Therefore, the version of the game purchased is Dragon Marked For Death · SubID: 440395 Additionally, the beta testing name next to the game name in the Steam licenses does not mean that the game version is beta.
However, as the DLC is free you should be able to add it to your Steam account from the Steam store. If you are not able to add, it, please take a screenshot of that.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.'

Ok. Two days left for Paypal litigation :smiling-eyes:
What is the SubID which you received? Maybe run the Token Dumper so that SteamDB writes Beta next to the SubID and the information is public.

I've started playing Rising Dusk

and it's a lot of fun. A lot of charm too.
Basically the gimmick here is that many elements in a level will react to the amount of coins you currently have - i.e numbered blocks that vanish if you touch them while you have more or the same coins. It's not really "you have to avoid everything or you can restart" though. In general levels will have valid routes when you accidentally pick some coins up (which usually just makes it a bit harder, but also at least one unlockable or secret exit are only available if you don't avoid everything and instead collect a lot).
Every level has collectibles and some have secret exits that unlock different sections of the map. They are pretty short so replaying them is quick and it has boss fights too.

I was sold that (if you click on 'Depots' you will see it's the beta version)
Steam Sub 391690 · SubID: 391690

Instead of that
Dragon Marked For Death · SubID: 391691
Right!
Those are words alright. I even could understand a thing or two 😳
I meant that you could provide more information to SteamDB by running the token dumper.

Since the depot is properly identified as "beta testing" (which I did not notice at first), it is not interesting. It would only help decrypt the file names:

Frontier's sales update

Frontier's most recent game, Planet Zoo, which was released in November 2019 and is Frontier's biggest PC launch to date, has been particularly well received. In early May 2020 cumulative base game unit sales of Planet Zoo crossed the 1 million mark, less than six months after release and several months ahead of any of Frontier's previous game releases on PC.

Our other games have also recently crossed sales milestones. During April Elite Dangerous exceeded the 3.5 million base game unit threshold and in March Jurassic World Evolution passed 3 million base game units sold. In January, Planet Coaster crossed 2.5 million base game units.

That's too bad, seems like a solid cross of OW and DOTA.
omg that sounds fucking awful.

Seriously though. I wish devs would stop making shooters no one asked for in such a crowded market already. We've had enough games like Gigantic (someone remember that?), Lawbreakers, Battleborn and dozens of BRs.

I think I'll give Crucible a fair shot but from what I've seen it just looks generic as hell.

20mins later, Daedalic swallowed up by the voracious Embracer with all uniqueness lost.

( originally posted in |OT| - Embracer Group's (ex-THQ Nordic AB) acquistion spree | FQ4-FY19-20 report )

With the acquisition of Saber Interactive, the Group currently has over 118 games under development including 69 still yet to be announced titles.

We expect substantial growth in the current financial year driven by a large number of high quality releases, for which we are excited to the reception among gamers. We expect the value of completed games will more than doubles from SEK 589 million to SEK 1,200-1,400 in the current financial year ending March 31, 2021. This growth will be underpinned by recent and upcoming new game releases such as Biomutant, Chorus, Deep Rock Galactic, Destroy all Humans!, Iron Harvest, MotoGP 20, Ride 4, Snowrunner, Wasteland 3, WWE2K Battlegrounds (in collaboration with 2K) and a host of other titles that have not yet started their marketing campaigns. On top of this, we expected a solid performance from our back catalog supported by strong demand for many of our beloved franchises, including Darksiders, Dead Island, ELEX, Goat Simulator, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Metro, Monster Energy Supercross, MX vs ATV, Remnant: From the Ashes, Satisfactory, Saints Row, Wreckfest and World War Z, among others.

Looking into the next financial year ending March 31 2022, we expect continued organic growth driven by further increase in the value of completed games including the first AAA games releases since Metro Exodus. From this year on we expect to have AAA releases every year.

To drive further organic growth in the years ahead, many talented people across all our operating units are continuously scouting for new attractive game development projects.

I missed all details about this game, but now I think I need to play it.

Monday Night Combat and Super MNC were some of my favorite games (scummy moves by the company aside.) This looks like it could be hitting that same spot of Dota/shooter.

CAN YOU SMELL IT? smells like NMH 1-2 HD, Yakuza 3-6 PC, Sakura Wars AND MORE :triggerblob::triggerblob::triggerblob:
I'm fully prepared to be let down by SEGA, in terms of PC releases.
They are going to announce a release date for Yakuza: Like A Dragon, and I don't expect much more than that. 🙁

This isn't a PC event, and considering most of these companies are either Japanese, or deal with Japanese titles, most of the announcements we are getting will sadly be console-only titles.

I'm just hoping to hear about what INTI CREATES are working on, and hopefully whatever Grasshopper Manufacture is working on will also make it to PC.

Record of Lodoss War is currently on sale:

It's still in Early Access, but considering the price of the game will significantly increase once it launches, this is worth the "investment".
Especially considering how the game already plays, and the team behind it. [UWSL](y)[/UWSL]

Also, this means, for Planet Zoo, 23k reviews is 1 million copies sold. That's cool.
This is interesting data, since it's mostly after the new library (which should encourage more reviews).

My previous rough estimate for owners was 50-80x reviews. I expected this to go down somewhat significantly with the new "hey go write a review" feature -- looks like it's ~44 here.

Nah, I'm joking but I would love to see NMH 1-2 on PC, to be honest.
