While there's a player search feature, I think it only shows players that are online and in the same server, so I think you can only add me to your friend list by meeting directly in-game.
you can travel to other realms on the data centre via the aetherite crystals in the main cities.
As long as they're in the same region, it's possible to travel between datacenters with a few restrictions.
I wouldn't have thought it matters not turning the psu switch off first.

I didn’t tried on desktop but on mobile opens twitter app for me, and if the link is a profile it opens that profile on the app.

Well, at least this latest dumb stunt led to something amazing.
It added achievements and some other stuff but the game came out a decade+ ago, it's a pretty averageish point and click that was enjoyable and I think it's pretty cool to see it get updated
"Supposedly" according to the developer desperately trying to answer the same question 100+ times it "just" tracks players and/or new players coming to the game from advertisements via the newly implemented Appslfyer addition to the game. So I guess if someone clicks an ad for the game at some point on a website or email or somehow somewhere it will store a token or cookie of that somewhere and then basically at the point of them installing the game it will go "oh look they came here via xyz" then send that information to the developers to see how successful which of their advertisement campaigns are doing.
