Why the fuck did he pay 46 billions to have Twitter if he fired all its manpower and brains, changed its functionality and now changed its name too?
Because he's an idiot in a midlife crisis who walked himself into that and was forced to buy it (he tried everything to avoid it but as I said he's an idiot, he shouldn't have made the initial offer :upside-down-face:)

I didn't even know this was a thing. Will watch it after finishing RE Death Island.

Stardew Valley is such a wonderful Deck game. I picked it up during the seal and now nearing 20hrs. And the game just gets more n more fun as you play. I was always aware of how big and popular the game was but I never bothered looking into it as I usually just jump in for some Minecraft when I want to play a relaxing game like that. But I didn't know this was so deep and intricate. Really addicting and well designed.

Kind of disappointed for being so lttp with it so I guess better late than never. And not that I ever said bad things about it but yea... I apologize Stardew I was not familiar with your game :thumbsupblob:

Also that is P5R dethroned as the Steam Deck killer app imo. Especially with how great the battery life and gameplay loop is with Stardew.

I don't expect for Stardew to hold on to the throne for too long tho with MGS collection coming soon :sneaky:

I always unplug my PC when I go to bed because around this season it’s more common to have blackouts/brown outs.
But I was wondering if I should turn off the PSU switch first and then unplug. I just turn off the PC, turn off the surge protector and then unplug, but the PSU switch is always on because it’s a pain in the ass having to reach it

How do I add you to my friend list xd
you can travel to other realms on the data centre via the aetherite crystals in the main cities.

I still play fairly regularly, but I am on Light (lich) so probably a bit more difficult to meet up.

As long as they're in the same region, it's possible to travel between datacenters with a few restrictions.
Though travelling between datacenters is done at the character select instead of the aetheryte.

I wouldn't have thought it matters not turning the psu switch off first.

Ok I'll figure it out. I played over 2 years ago for a few months, and just came back to it over the weekend.

Basically you can travel between these servers through a main city aetheryte:
Cerberus, Louisoix, Moogle, Omega, Phantom, Ragnarok, Sagittarius, Spriggan
And you can travel to these through the character select data center travel:
Alpha, Lich, Odin, Phoenix, Raiden, Shiva, Twintania, Zodiark

Haven't been posting much of late as I've been in a Groundhog Day loop of Persona 5 Royal for just shy of a month now.

I'm notoriously slow at game progress as a general rule, fawning over game menus considering options, stopping to smell the roses & admire architecture when in the field, etc. To the point where I can confidently tack 1/3-1/2 on top of How Long To Beat estimates for any given title.

As such it may not come as a surprise that well over 60 hrs. in I'm just now wrapping up the 2nd dungeon (Madarame's Palace) waiting for him to flip and have a change of heart.

This is bad, bad, bad.

Well actually it's good, good, good as I'm having an absolute blast. But it seems to be at the expense of absolutely everything else. So no, even though I preordered BG3 for the free Deluxe Edition upgrade, it's looking like my calendar will not be open for 1.0 launch.

Unless it's a forever-game like CK, ETS2, Factorio, RimWorld, etc., I rarely stick with titles longer that 20 hrs., even those I thoroughly enjoy. Something about ADHD and an endless supply of new purchases and backlog titles keeping me constantly reaching for the new shiny.

So it's actually pretty exciting to have something on the table that's completely captured my imagination this intensely. Perhaps I'll "break the shrink-wrap" on BG3 & Starfield sometime around New Year's, lol.

Guess I didn't have, "Aaron D. will turn into Atlus fanboy overnight." on my Bingo card.

Apparently the latest Pathfinder patch adds tracking software to your PC?

"We have implemented a 3rd party service named Appsflyer — an industry standard tracking solution for user acquisition for computer and mobile games. This solution allows developers and publishers to understand which part of players have purchased the game due to the impact of their advertising campaigns. It will help us to define the key metrics of the campaigns and significantly improve our marketing efforts. Though Appsflyer is fully compliant with GDPR and other data processing regulations, we needed to reflect its implementation in the game's EULA, which resulted in improvements of the paragraph 3.1 of the respective EULA. This one is under the category of probably 2 people on earth care but I think it's cool

They did their a major update on the game:
We are happy to inform you that the game finally got an major update. Here's what you can find:
  • MacOS supported (minimum 10.13)
  • Steam Achievements
  • Steam Cloud
  • Languages + new ones added: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese
  • German full audio including voice-acting for all characters
  • bug fixes and stability improvements
It added achievements and some other stuff but the game came out a decade+ ago, it's a pretty averageish point and click that was enjoyable and I think it's pretty cool to see it get updated

"Supposedly" according to the developer desperately trying to answer the same question 100+ times it "just" tracks players and/or new players coming to the game from advertisements via the newly implemented Appslfyer addition to the game. So I guess if someone clicks an ad for the game at some point on a website or email or somehow somewhere it will store a token or cookie of that somewhere and then basically at the point of them installing the game it will go "oh look they came here via xyz" then send that information to the developers to see how successful which of their advertisement campaigns are doing.

However everyone is reacting in a calm and mannerly fashion on the steam forums
