I take that back. Now that Nvidia looks like they're getting their ish together, I think I'm actually going to be ready for this.

other then no SSD im surprised i would be able to run this. at this point though im going to wait until i can build a new pc to experience in full 1440 glorypc specs released
funny enough 4790 was my old cpu so maybe i never needed to upgrade at all
I don't know what to think, also because for "recommended" what they mean? 1080p60fps? Or 1080p 30fps?funny enough 4790 was my old cpu so maybe i never needed to upgrade at all
I think it's clearly 1080/30 with high settings on a 1060. And I wouldn't count on locked framerate.
Hi there, new to Night City? It's not so bad here...
So which gang is the city's biggest and baddest?
Please note that the game is both graphics- and processor-intensive, so make sure these components meet or exceed the minimum requirements. Also note that the minimum is created with Low settings and 1080p gaming in mind and Recommended with High and 1080p.

i imagine 1440/4k with rtx will need more power. guessing this is 1080p and 30-60fps? sounds like more detailed system spec info will be hitting soon
It's Johnny. Johnny Silverhand.
In this world, consumed by neverending conflict, sometimes only an outsider will get the job done. And that's you.
I am very hyped, my most anticipated game in years. Just don't talk about it much because of all the delays etc... but I am sure once reviews and more leaks come through it will get more people talking here.surprised there isn't a bit more interest in this forum for this game. It has been a long longgggggggggg time since I have been hyped for a game. I think the last time I was hyped for a game to this level was Mass effect 2. It feels like an eternity since PC Gamers were treated to such a vast rich single player experience and for the first time in a long time I broke my "no pre=order" rule.
Just two weeks to go, I really hope we get a pre-load soon. Whilst I don't have shitty net I still would like a bit of time to download all 70gbs of the game so I can play the minute it unlocks.
I started a new campaign this year and it went pretty smooth.I am moderately hyped, because I don't think the game will deliver what is promised on day one. From what I have recently read: there are numerous bugs including quest-breaking ones ; the UI is clunky at times, which gets annoying if you try to manage the looted weapons in your inventory ; stealth is not satisfying because options are too limited and the AI does not feel good. To me, the game will be like Kingdom Come Deliverance (KCD): there are great promises, and the game barley misses due to technical issues, which will be ironed out with a few patches. Sadly, KCD is still broken to the point I quit early. Hopefully, CDPR will be more diligent when it comes to patching their game.
Have you really not seen any trailers/videos from it?But just like with all story driven games I plan to play I'm looking at 0 media for it beforehand, so there's not much to talk about
Did you play on PC? I finished PC version of KCD with all DLCs and hardcore mode (and patch 1.9.2) a year ago and had zero significant bugs, only few insignificant (fell into ground once in a forest, had an NPC get stuck once and require reload). It was the most immersive game I have played since STALKER and entered my TOP3 favourites of all time (next to Witcher 3 and RDR2), even surpassing my beloved New Vegas and Deus Ex. Absolutely loved the level of detail and rewarding mechanics and progression.Sadly, KCD is still broken to the point I quit early.
I have played it for a few hours on PC (with Geforce Now) when it was given for free on Epic Games store. The issue is that I was running around for an hour, trying to move forward in the story, but the quests would not start. After a while, I have checked a walkthrough and realized that I must have done a few actions in the wrong order, and that must have bugged the game. I think my big mistake was to refuse the quest suggested by the main character's buddies to throw crap on the wall of a peasant. Maybe I was just unlucky with that quest, and the game would have been smoother afterwards. I will give the game another try one day.Did you play on PC? Hmm I actually tried both alternatives (throw/not throw) and both progressed normally for me. I went with throwing because eventhough it's an asshole thing to do, it's just too unique thing to do in videogames to not do it Plus it kinda fits Henry's redemption arc.I think my big mistake was to refuse the quest suggested by the main character's buddies to throw crap on the wall of a peasant. Nothing since the initial reveal trailer what feels like a decade ago.Have you really not seen any trailers/videos from it?
That's a god damn willpower.
I'm glad I haven't watched much stuff for this game over the past year+.
Only thing I've seen is the first trailer + 50 minute early alpha gameplay trailer + that other E3 trailer with Keanu reveal.
Been almost completely blind on the episode stuff they've been doing. Just read a few things here and there. Nothing too spoilerish.
I went completely blind into spelunky 2. Now over 150hrs on the game and its such an amazing experience. Still discovering new things as well lol.
I used to not care much about that stuff but after Kojima basically spoiled all of MGSV in premarketing footage...I've been a lot more careful with it
Same. My wait will be indefinite though because I'm not touching this game without a 2020 flagship video card.Once i knew i wanted the game i kept out of 99% of the threads and media related to Cyberpunk 2077. So apart from the initial music video announcement and about 10 minutes of footage from E3 and other places across a couple of videos i haven't seen much about the game at all.
When it launches i'll be avoiding threads for a while too. I just prefer to discover the game myself and dive in to threads later on.
