They're planning for smaller events and QoL fixes on top of the big updates, but no mention of resin rates that people have been complaining about.

Pretty sure that also includes the Primogems that you get via mail - there's one with 1600 and then 160 a day.
And then you get ones by doing the story, side quests, achievements, ranking up, dailies, chests,....
Edit: you get 20 Acquaint fates per mail (use them on the beginner banner), 10 Intertwined fates per mail (for use on the rate up banner, which is Venti right now) and 1600 primogems per mail, which is another 10 pulls. So that's 40 from just the initial mail stuff - though you have to reach Adventure Rank 10 to get all of that.

I wouldn't expect them to raise rates at all as long as the game does well, FGO has terrible rates too (which they slightly "improved" in JP a year ago) and is a juggernaut that has lasted for over 5 years and now has turned the franchise into a billion dollar behemot.
Gacha don't raise rates unless they're failing and revenue/player retention is dropping.

Terrific! I'm happy that they're doing so well. Hopefully they treat themselves a bit then stay a little conservative with the rest of their success. If they stick to their plans and avoid changing the scope then we'll probably have a fun developing rpg for months/years to come.
I just reached AR33 and one thing is pissing me off, Theres no way without spending a lot of money to level up more than a few characters, I have all my main 4(Traveller, Amber, Razor and Kaeya) at level 60, with all their weapons at level 60 also, and some of their artifacts level'd up as well, and most of their talents.
But I wish I could farm for exp books, but the resin gate is fucking brutal, I have Venti, Fischl, Barbara, Noelle and Xiangling I would like to play as well, but theres not enough resources to level then up.

Yeah, I'm starting to reach that point as well.
Just gotten to AR 30 and unlocked Ascension 3 and things are getting brutal in terms of getting everyone powered up, let alone a second team.
The gacha is basically all about getting cool characters you like, but at this rate it's going to take ages to even get a new character usable with how costly everything is getting (and that's probably only going to get worse....)
Has certainly dampened my excitement a bit. I get that this is basically their way of forcing players from getting too powerful too fast, but it's ehhh.
All the power comes from Weapons, Artifacts, Talents and Constelation, if they want to put a brake on those I could understand, I would not like it, but understand, but gating leveling up characters that they can be usable is just pure evil.

So how does the wish stuff works? I see I have three currencies [ all blue circle, blue and pink circle, and star] The star currency doesn't seem to be used.
Now, the ball stuff is paid currency? I kind of want to see what happens by doing the bard one, but I only have 10 of the pink and blue circle - will I get that character?

In general, there's only 2 kinds of currency for pulling the banners, the normal banners and the special, time-sensitive banner. In this case, we have the Venti banner which is the special one. Here's an infographics on currencies. It's quite straightforward, actually.
Regarding the event, it's probably not live yet.
The primogen so far I guess hasn't been used during my time playing.
So Venti the bard is time sensitive so if I spend all 10 of my intertwined fate I get the character right?

You have a 0.6% chance to pull a 5* character on Venti's banner per pull. So you could technically get him with those 10 pulls because luck, but it's unlikely.
There's a pity system every 80 pulls which guarantees you a 5* character.
Now, there's only a 50% chance to get Venti when you get a 5* character the first time, and only a 100% chance the second time (so worst case 160),
(Note: ingame says 90 pulls per pity but community has found this to be potentially a mistake, since most people seem to get a 5* with 80).
(Edit: it's probably still 90 and 80 is just RNG and hope

Listen to Ascheroth and roll only if you really want to try to get Venti. Knowing that you have about a week to reach the pity timer, which is mighty unlikely if you're F2P.
However, you still have the Beginner's banner available, that one you should roll, it's less expensive and you get Noelle guaranteed on your first 10 pulls.
Yes, if you click on the details button on the left bottom corner of the screen, you can see everything the banner has and its drop chance.
I know everyone's been telling me to only upgrade 4star shits but I didn't really get any interesting ones so I've just been upgrading my 3 star weapons.
guess i'll keep trying to get Venti, i got so many dups for Xiangling I'm close to maxing out her constellation, I wish there were more spears for her though

Not sure if it is allowed here but i have an account with Venti and a few 4 stars adv lvl 20 it's f2p so i have not spend a dime on it so far but i will not continue playing and i thought maybe someone here wants it so i would just give it away, drop me a pm first one gets it.

The co-op event has some neat rewards that don't require resin, including some primogems and exp stuff from the alchemy book achievement, as well as a huge chunk of battle pass experience.
It's fine if you want to give it away. Just don't forget to unlink your email if you haven't done so.
The event is ok I guess? The XP books are a bit eh, but it's still better than the XP flowers; the "achievements" for doing it even without spending resin are not bad at all.
And finally a reason to play with others! Game's fun in multiplayer, if mega confusing.

More 1.1 leaks. Some good stuff in here.
New dungeon & boss, convenient items (food shortcut & portable wind!), flying event (my jam), and some new resin storing mechanic.

I haven't been posting much recently. Half of that is due to a lack of free time due to work (and posting time at work ), but the other half is because I'm spending a good chunk of the free time I do have playing Genshin Impact. And I still haven't explored more than half of the second area!
Just did the new event for the first time, with a party of 3 other random people. I wonder how they do the matchmaking, we had nicely matched up elements. I guess we did well? Our best time was 2:29, and all 4 attempts were under 3 minutes.

Resin storing mechanic is good. While it won't solve the resin issue, it'll allow me to skip days where I don't have anything available to farm. Farming talent materials need a lot of resins.

Was a Razor x2, Chongyun x2 team. Which was awesome, haha.
Makes me want to build up my own Chongyun again. His E combined with Razor's burst is a Superconduct festival and just hella fun.
For now I've just ascended all of my current main team and raised max level to 60 (Fischl, Barbara, Xiangling, Razor).
Still need to work on talents, weapons and artifacts
Also I'm debating if I should just yolo pull on the Venti banner until pity (I have about 16 pulls left to reach 90 and enough primogems to reach that with tomorrow's dailies.)

I kinda wanna level Beidou for fun, because I loooove how her auto-attack looks. That sword-kick 
And she even has story-tellers in Liyue telling tales of her badassry, which is awesome.

I wouldn't pull for Klee pity either. I'd pull for Venti or wait for Xiao. But Xiao banner is supposedly come after Klee, which means still 2+ weeks from now.
More time to get more primogems then

Though I'm doubtful those are true.
Since we still have a lot of characters from the Liyue story that aren't playable yet (and we know will be playable), like Zhongli, Childe, Ganju and that apothecary with the snake whose name I forgot).
Of course they could always do double banners, like one for a new charcters and simultaneously one for an existing character.
But I guess waiting for at least Xiao will make sense, we'll probably get leaks for the next ones while his is still ongoing too as well, so ¯\(ツ)/¯.
Ok, I should really play that. Just a question: where ? PC or ipad ?
It may seem like a strange question but their other game, Honkai, played fine on touch. Basically I’m wondering if, graphics excepted, it makes sense to play that game on a desktop.

Personally I'm playing it on PC, occasionally dabbling a bit with it on my phone. But I'm finding that the combat can get a bit too much with just touch controls (and it's a bit choppy on my phone, lol).
But I would recommend just giving it a try on both. There is cross-save between PC and Mobile, so you can use your same account on both of them.
There's one little thing to keep in mind for purchases though: If you create the account on mobile, you're locked into buying stuff via Apple/Google. If you start on PC you can make purchases everywhere.

Yeah, just install on both of your systems. You can probably play on the ipad when you're not feeling like playing on your PC or when you're outside. But for harder content later in the game, it's best to play on PC whether with kb/m or controller. But for exploration and questing, playing on mobile should be fine.

I really want Xiao he looks awesome.There are so many characters I want. Xiao, Qiqi, Kequing and Mona all look fun.

I also just did a single pull on the Standard banner with the level 20 Battle Pass reward and got an Amber dupe
It was before pity, so that was nice. But I really don't like Amber's kit, so I'll probably never use her in combat, and as such it's kind of a waste. Oh well.

Of those rumoured upcoming banners I'd be most interested in Qiqi. The healer slot in my party is currently filled alternatively by either Barbara or Noelle, but I'm not 100% on either of them.
In terms of design and moveset I actually find Keqing most appealing, and she even has some exploration utility, but her element doesn't really fit in my party.

I haven't gotten up to the point to trying Klee but hearing they nerfed her cute walk is unforgivable.

Diluc is interesting as a character, his side story is pretty good. In combat, his moves are pretty unique as you can basically set everything on fire at all times, unlike other fire characters who have big downtimes because of cooldowns and burst recharge.

I hear she and Qiqi share animation and it didn't fit Qiqi personality so they removed it (I don't own Qiqi so if anyone can compare).
It was completely harmless. It's not like she's sexualized or anything.
