I know that this isn't the right thread but just to let you all know the ending to Attack on Titan was okay. It was not great or terrible. Sadly the same can't be said for some other series like Tokyo Ghoul, now that had a horrible ending.

What did you try? Do you need a save file? I can get you one.
I tried:
  • admin rights
  • disabling steam cloud save
  • disabling game cinematics
  • turning on/off various options in general
  • moving it to my main drive
  • trying it on another PC but it get stuck after the tutorial

Yeah I need a save file right after the tutorial to overwrite my own, that'd be really appreciated

I found a completed save file that you can download and overwrite
Looking for a DQB2 completed save file. : DQBuilders (reddit.com)

Sucks that Square Enix never fixed the problem :(

Thanks but from what I understand this game doesn't have a NG+ and only has 1 save file slot, so can I even play the story from a completed save file?

Just use it to start a new game and overwrite it. I was looking for a save file that you can download, it was not my intention to find a completed save file :)

The problem is that the game is not able to create a new save file

Curling is fun to watch. I sorta got hooked on it after YouTube randomly recommended me a video.

It can be pretty fun to do even if you're pretty clueless on what you're doing! I've done it at the Duluth Curling Club and it's way more difficult to learn to throw the stones than you'd think.

My sport I enjoy watching but only know through YouTube is snooker. Watching Ronnie O'Sullivan is an absolute joy.

MetaFootball, history has been made!

they actually went ahead with this, I'm baffled. I guess they can never get enough, eh? Ah well, to be honest, I dont care much, but I am curious how this will go on. The SL claims the clubs will remain in their leagues, but I dont think thats so easy, as UEFA & FIFA are staunchly against it.

I got excited but with that being the xbox version there's no quest mode and it says the dlcs don't work so I assume the special sparring mode also doesn't so essentially we get access to options, training and score attack/time attack and license mode on top of the normal arcade and vs we can play? Still neat!

Dammit Sega release it standalone with all features restored, sounds like a decent amount of work is already done. It's nice having these things as extras in Yakuza but they are completely barebones

yes but that won't fix the issue, it would still need to create another save file after the tutorial that way, you have 3 save slots but each slot is its own thing hence why I was talking about "one" save slot earlier, you actually have more but each character has its own save slot + autosave.
Due to that, save slots aren't children of a "master" save, so I can load that character/save file which is completed, but that's it, if I want to play the game I specifically need a save file right after the tutorial.

Thanks anyway though it's appreciated

11 pages of complaints on Steam :lul:

Have you tried beating the tutorial in the demo?

Depots have different content, so it may work:

Such is my luck that I was following a very insightful Pathfinder: Kingsmaker guide when I realized I reached a point in which the guide ends abruptly. This means, the author plans to keep working on the guide for future chapters but that makes me feel to drop the game as I dont think I can follow the game on my own.
That's unfortunate. Couldn't you look for a lesser quality guide that would still do the job ?

Found this. It says that you load the save file and save once. After that start a new game and overwrite the save file.

well it didn't work for me

:mamapout:

I must say that Koei + Square Enix making a PC game is such a foul combo...

For those that have played it (duh !), does TWEWY opens up at some point ? Or does it stay confined to a linear succession of city corridor and linear missions ? I'm still far from sold on it but it would seem like a waste, if so.

I cannot seem to do that, if I try to download the demo it download the game since I have it purchased, if I download the demo forcefully through the console it won't launch

:mamapout:

Square Enix and Koei are shit, i don’t blame them for the download as I guess that’s dependant on Steam infrastructure but they’re shit for everything else

And that's jab 2 done. Let's see if I will start speaking Russian in next couple of days XD
Meanwhile, in France...

Is ERA down ? I don't give a real shit, but as my Internet and PC are acting up a little these days...

For info -
Like I already mentioned, some very strange internet connection issues with a blank page and a circular loading icon
Ys V had some big graphical errors intermittently, which I put on it being a fan translation patch
The other day, at the moment I closed a notepad windows, it's my screen that went black for less than a second

Canard PC gave a perfect score (10/10) to It Takes Two.

I will download the demo and send the save file your way. It is only 3 GB.

It reminds me of the issue which I had with DQXI:

I cannot play the demo in English (without manually downloading the depot) because I managed to snatch both the English and the Japanese versions of the demo before the regional restriction was enforced.

I have the files, I just cannot launch them, literally nothing happens if I do, if you manage to launch it I'd appreciate if you let me know though...

I will try in a few hours. Is there customization of the main character? Do you want some specific things?

It's crazy to see how much Nier has growth as a brand.

Extra content for NieR Replicant. NieR Automata costumes yay .

The music is new? Don't remember this piece back in the original.

From screenshots I thought Replicant was much more of an overhaul but in a recent comparison video it seems like an 1:1 remake almost like Demon's Souls.

Dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Perhaps the jankier aspects have had more work done?

Those DQB2 issues make me sadface.

The game is so gd good.

What's weird is that I played it across 2 rigs with zero problems. And that's restarting multiple game files. I'm a chronic "start over" player for whatever reason, likely 'cause I like to reexperience a game's opening after I've digested the mechanics & flow.

Cool cool, I didn't love Psychonauts to the point of really wanting a sequel, but maybe it will avoid the cult-classic sequel curse that seems to have done a number for the last few years.

I'd consider that a good thing.

Nier is a masterpiece, and I'd be concerned if they changed anything substantially.

For me, basically all my complaints about it were technical in nature. (Low performance, bad rendering quality, etc.)
Actually, Nier was one of my big motivators for (as far as I know) inventing the practice of realtime post-process-AA'ing console games on PC :p

if you manage to launch it I'd appreciate if you let me know though...

I have sent a message to you with my save after the boat sank. I guess that is the end of the tutorial.
If not, let me know. I could also save after Lulu's first requests.

Nah, Sony is to blame for it not getting a sequel, not customers. I bet Days Gone made a profit. Just not enough of a profit to satisfy the Sony executives. Don't put that onto the customers. We don't owe these companies anything. I'm not paying full price at launch for the worst version of the game. Ill wait for it to be patched and a reasonable price (and on PC) for my own budget thanks.

Also not everything needs a sequel. Even if its a terrific game.

Thanks but that didn't help, apparently save files for this game are encrypted and tied to the PC/OS (this only on PC) so if you swap machine or go from a laptop to a desktop or more in general change PC or reinstall the OS the encryption makes it so that files cannot be read anymore.
This basically also renders steam cloud useless between machines, Square Enix and KT went above and beyond the call of duty this time, if even a FRACTION of the effort they put into making this unplayable went into optimization I believe they could make the best PC ports ever created in the history of gaming, alas...

That said now I have a good idea of what I need, a switch save file that's right after the boat sinks (tutorial), so off I go hunting

Besides, what do they hope to accomplish when they state things like these? Does he really think people will start buying at full price now that he's basically calling them stingy assholes? I think it's easy to see that blaming your fanbase can only grant you dislikes
